Purple and lilac af1 Lv

These came out much better than I expected. I do wish I did something more inside the “Air Max” writing beneath the swoosh.

Picked up a Rolex few weeks back and needed sneakers and a hat to match so picked up some white/black air force lows and a white/black SD hat and painted everything tiffany/turqoise to match the watch and the Fit.

Just finished painting and dying these. I’m still on the hunt on a good material to customize the straps with (concept pic in comments)

Hi there! I'm from Ontario and realizing that actually acquiring Angelus paint to match to some Game Royal 12s is pretty hard/expensive via shipping and imports. Mostly just looking for Royal 5 paint right now, do I just have to suck it up and buy like this or are there other ways/brands to get?

I’m heading off to college soon and I really want to bring these two pairs with me, but they need some serious TLC before they are campus-ready. I’m completely new to sneaker restoration and would love some advice from anyone who has successfully fixed these specific issues.

Pair 1: Air Jordan 1s

• The Problem: The biggest issue is the severe sole separation around the toe box. The factory glue is completely shot. Additionally, the blue leather around the edges where it meets the midsole is starting to chip and peel pretty badly.
• My Questions: What is the absolute best adhesive to fix this separation permanently so they don't pop open when I walk? Also, how do I properly treat and seal that chipping leather before gluing them back together?

Pair 2: Jordan Son of Mars ("Bel-Air")

• The Problem: These have a lot of general wear, but the worst part is the deep white scuffs on the black midsole.
• My Questions: What is the best process for repainting a foam/rubber midsole like this so the paint actually stays on and doesn't just crack off after one wear? Do I need a specific type of prep or finisher?

I’m willing to buy the right tools/supplies (Barge cement, Angelus paint, etc.), I just want to make sure I get the process right so I don't ruin them. Any step-by-step tips, product recommendations, or video links would be massively appreciated!

Custom timberlands

Can anyone give me some tips on brush painting with kixkote. Ive been using brush boost and sticky iky with my paints but im not getting smooth coverage even after 3 coats. Kinda driving me nuts. Pic for example

So I want to start an etsy storefront. I have some shoes already as examples, and they have fairly detailed designs. I see a wide range in pricing for custom pairs on Etsy so it's hard to tell what I should do.

I've always wanted a pair of varsity red lows but they never made them in my size but would something like this work?

The swirls are supposed to look like infinity signs. As usual, they glow under UV.

Has anyone switched over and has had the same issue while using KixKotes that vinyl leaves the sticky residue on the shoes/cleats?

I’ve tried various vinyls and chatted with other customizers who have ran into this issue. It has to be some sort of chemical reaction since I never had this issue with Angelus.

Also, the sticky residue from the vinyl is near impossible to get off so it’s sort of a headache. Any help is appreciated!

Kind of a random concept that I had stuck in my head. Under UV, they look really cool.

Super simple custom but ever since I saw the shy pinks, I wondered what it would be like if it was orange instead, it reminds me of an orange Creamsicle kind of vibe :)

Ordered some pink laces that should hopefully be the final “pop” on these!

I'm trying to make them look like the last 2 pictures, but I've never dyed or painted anything and don't know where to start.

I'm looking to color the bottom grey sole part blue (to match the rest of the shoe), the top grey part red, and then the white logo on the side yellow with a small red stripe on the right side of each line.

Can anyone suggest any certain brands/types of dyes/paints that could work here, and also some color names please? thank you.

I've tried paint markers, but they can be used for certain paints. I can do a pretty good job at clean lines with a brush, but it's extremely tedious and slow. Both are limited in how small of a line you can reliably paint. I was wondering today if there were some kind of paint dispenser that uses syringes and small tips for them to apply paint. Anyone have any experience with something like this?
