Are Crypto Exchange Promotions Becoming More Competitive?

A few years ago, most exchange campaigns seemed to revolve around trading competitions or referral rewards. Now I'm seeing a lot more varietyβ€”cashback, fee rebates, insurance-style protection, and even event-based campaigns.

BTCC recently launched a 100% deposit cashback offer, which got me thinking about how exchanges are competing for users these days. The incentives seem bigger than ever, but I wonder how much they actually influence experienced traders.

For me, a promotion might encourage me to take a closer look at a platform, but it won't outweigh factors like security, execution quality, or a good trading experience.

What about everyone else?

Have exchange promotions ever convinced you to try a platform you hadn't considered before?

Or do you think most of these campaigns are just marketing, with the real value still coming from the product itself?

Anyone read Bee Network's 2026 review of BTCC?

I came across Bee Network's 2026 review of BTCC and thought it was an interesting read. It's always useful to see how third-party communities evaluate exchanges instead of relying only on official announcements.

No exchange is perfect, but I tend to pay attention to reviews that discuss actual trading experience, security, liquidity, and usability rather than just bonuses or promotions. Those factors matter much more over the long run.

For anyone here who has used BTCC recently, has your experience matched what the review says? I'm curious whether long-time users feel the platform has improved over the past year, especially for active traders.
