Photo White Fuzz on my Specter Cray?
Howdy, my son and I had bought “ghost” about 5 months ago and things have been great. I had a blue one when I was young that lived about 2.5 years. We recently upgraded its enclosure and kept its original log/tree which it typically loves to be perched on or tunneled underneath. However as of recent there has been more white fuzz all over except for the eyes and antennas. Water quality is great and has been tested. Ammonia, nitrites, and ph were great. I test our other fish aquarium often. Ghost lives by his/her self and has never had any other companions. Has molted 4 times since purchase. The past few days I’ve noticed more of the fuzz and was hoping for a molt but has not happened yet and seems disinterested in eating as much. I only feed every 3 days.
Is it time for a salt dip? Different enclosure? Any advice, tips, and tricks are welcomed.

Goldfish with Crayfish
Hello guys I am going to rehome my crayfish soon so I had no choice but to put them together for the time being
But would they be okay with each other, will the goldfish kills the cray or it's the other way around?
If cray is dangerous what if I take off one of it's claws?
The cray isn't that big it's a male and my female cray is twice as big than this on another tank

Just got my first crayfish. Found him/her in a lake in Arizona. Im pretty sure its a virile crayfish. 40 gallon planted tank with no tank mates but considering rice fish.

Pet Crayfish got out and damn near gave me a heart attack
She'd never done it before. We left for a brief overnight stay elsewhere and came home to an empty tank.
My heart sank. I tore the house apart. Second floor: nothing. I thought maybe she somehow got into a toilet via the pipes behind it. I'm sweating buckets.
Maybe she got to the first floor. Tore it apart. Looked underneath the main TV and its stand. Holy shit, I jumped up when I pulled some wires aside and there she was.
I put her in a shallow bucket of tank water with a little saucer to climb up to if she wasn't ready yet for immersion. She changed positions within minutes. No idea how long she'd been out. No idea if she fell all the way from the top of the stairs or slinkied her way down each step.
Put her back in the tank after 30 minutes of shallow water. She immediately crawled back into her cave. An hour later, she's walking around like nothing happened.
I made a custom cover to put over the top and ordered more options. I left it uncovered because it's summer time and I'd put an auto fan on the edge of the tank. Even left the A/C on to control the room temperature.
Now she's locked in there until I have an even sturdier solution. Jesus Christ, these pets.

Pet Spot on cray’s tail?
It’s hard to take a proper picture of this issue but I’m stressed about my crayfish Jairo. Water parameters are normal and I do routine water changes and test it weekly with no issues, but this spot on his back keeps getting larger. It looks like something is gouging into his tail, it’s not just a spot but a whole injury.
I just don’t know where it came from and why it’s getting worse? He’s molted like three times since I originally noticed the spot but it’s always still there, deep in his tail.
I feed him a variety of foods and he has a cuttlebone he gnaws on almost daily and seems active otherwise. Any suggestions or ideas?

Pet New Setup, Accepting Ideas and Info
My husband brought home a crayfish from our hike. Insisting on setting up a tank, I've started the process.
Currently our friend is in my spare tank while setup is completed (very happy it seems but rightfully scared of us).
Here's the tank: 40 gal breeder. 1 sponge filter + 1 on the way (other needed sent back) Heater (otw)
Landscape is not completely setup but planning to add pea gravel to the front to deter digging and clouding the tank. I'm getting driftwood in the next week but as far as now, my plan for the corner with the building will have the wood coming from the front to the top corner. I also want to add a few small pieces coming out of the stones towards the front to cover the caves a bit better but im open to ideas and suggestions. Would love to see your tanks that fit the natural, river look.
(Mistake made was not washing the sand good enough + got too fine of a play sand trying to save money. Currently processing that in tank, before I quick cycle with my other tanks)

Pet I shouldn't take him home right?
I found this guy wandering the parking lot at work. Obviously my first thought was, "I wanna take him home!" However I only have a 3 gallon tank at home, no lid (got at a garage sale).
So I need y'all to tell me now. It would not be a good idea to take him home and put him in that, correct?

Tank Set-up
I just got a Procambarus alleni. Right now I have a 10 gallon tank with lots of ground space and places to hide. I also have a thick layer of substrate for them to dig in. Do you think this is enough space for him? I have 3 neon tetras in the tank right now to test how the crayfish does with other species. Thanks!

crayfish seems to have a white sac/casing around one eye?
hi! our crayfish is eating and acting normally, but we've noticed over the past couple days one of his eyes seems to have a white casing around it. his other eye looks normal, just wondering if this is the beginning of a molt? wouldn't both eyes be affected if that's the case? thank you!

ID Request Wild Xanthic Crayfish
I posted before, but the photos weren't the best. This crayfish was found in the new river along side the new river crayfish. Thought it was a freshly molted crayfish at first but the color never changed since I caught it. It is a female and its name is Sandy. I have recently moved her to my shrimp aquarium.
If anyone can help ID her, that would be great!

My desktop at work
They say to create a vision board to manifest the things you want in life—well, here’s mine. Pink Sakura crayfish are still out of stock everywhere, but a girl can dream!!
Our store colors are pink and black so it’s technically on-theme. My coworkers are definitely still confused tho… Little do they know I’m planning to set up an in-store aquarium as soon as these babies are available! Muahahaha

Sudden death.
My male was in the mood yesterday and was trying to mate all day. This morning he was found dead. Water is all fine, they have some shrimp in there to chase or eat and some Ramshorn to bother. Planted, and plenty of hidey holes.
Could the females just have had enough of him? They have been in this tank a month. All active swimming, climbing, parachuting off the hornwort. Cleaning their plates.(crab crusine wafers and occasional veggies. even a calcium tab)

Need help identifying
Hello all! I am in need of your assistance in identifying these wild-caught crayfish. I tried using AI to identify them and it said the bottom horizontal crayfish was a Rusty and the top vertical ones were Virile. I am located in Colorado and the Rusty Crayfish is invasive here. The body of water all of these crayfish were found in is not currently listed on the Colorado Parks website as a known location so I'd like to report it if it is a Rusty. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
