California Card Craps. Low rolling.

Bought in for $200 and the table quickly reminded me that even at $5 if it’s cold and you can’t get past a few numbers, any minimum amount will dry up your rack.

Going $26 across $5 pass and 2x odds when they are shooting.
2 units across , full odds when I’m shooting.
Double up and regress to house money.
Just couldn’t get it going.
They left and I rolled alone 2-3 times.

Two cool cats walked up, Father and son that I had rolled with Friday during that killer 47 roll.
AMAZING energy love having them around BUT they are notorious late bettors and it’s a peeve when I’m rolling.
Still glad to have them around I let them roll and we just go up and down with min bet across. Min betting is hard because you’re really looking for repeaters but we couldn’t get any.

Back to me and I have an empty rack. Throw in another $100 and I proceed to go on a decent roll. I got about 4-5 numbers on the ATS but then hit a 7 on a come out. No problem work it up again. 4-5 numbers on the ATS. Hit my point then a come out 7 wipes the ATS again. Better now than when working.

Go for it again and just needed the 6 for the smalls. Moved my $12 place bet for the dealers “making a hole” and hit it right after. Now with just the 8,12 for the make em all. And Another come out 7.
(At one point the dealers 6 place bet was heavier than players at the table including myself because they just kept full pressing)
Ok we are making money the hard way. Have another decent run of numbers but not getting too far on the ATS. Aaand 7 out.

Did I learn my lesson about a cold table after a hot roll?
Nahhh, went heavy on the next 2 shooters. About 2 numbers each but I wasn’t regressing like a dummy. Lost like $160ish

Hi! Just wanted to ask the dealers on here a question. I know people will often place a bet for the dealers at certain points throughout their session. My question is what bet do the dealers like to see placed for them? I saw a guy put an extra dollar on each of the a-t-s for the dealers, but to me, that seems like such a long shot that it more than likely won't hit the dealer's pocket. (I guess that applies to many bets on the table). Do the dealers have a favorite bet? Thanks.

Where are they at these days? Strip adjacent?

Ellis Island had been my go to in the past. I have a 4 newbies coming with and want to teach them without breaking the bank. Would love real tables with real dealers and traditional not crapless.

I never really pay much attention to this play. I see some folks do it, but I play a pretty simple game.

Today at the table, everyone was on it. They play the min pass line, barely inside and they were just rooting for the All Small, Tall, Hit em All.

Whole table played it. So I figured lemme try. Very first time, I had a great roll. Came a snake eyes away from the Hit em All. But the $150 payout on the $5 Tall was pretty sweet.

In the whole session, one guy did the Hit em All and the Small/Tall seemed to payput somewhat often although I wasn’t keeping a close count.

Pretty fun, don’t know if I’ll be a regular player on it but it was certainly fun.

Well it was bound to happen, I’ve been on a heater lately of winning or being very close to even. The dice gods wanted their money back.

Back on the table for day 3 of our cruise and bought in for $500. Pass plus odds then come plus odds 2 more times. Place the if they weren’t covered. I wouldn’t have minded a few PSO, it happens right? But what happened to me was pass, 2 comes, THEN 7 out before hitting any…. Four times!!!

I should have taken the hint. Instead I bought in a second time, $500 more. Started hitting a few numbers and limped along for another hour or so, slow bleed, no hot shooters.

Bought in another $500 and went full tilt. Pass plus odds and $137 across. Every number that hit I half pressed the 6 or 8 growing big numbers. It was actually a ton of fun o. A few hot rolls, got my stack up to almost 1k. At one point I had the 6 at $390 which is crazy for me.

Alas, this is a terrible strategy and I didn’t take the chance to cash out down only $500. The drinks and poor choices compiled and I eventually gave it all back.

Oh well - I didn’t bring any money I wasn’t prepared to lose so I guess it’s not the worst that could have happened. Stay tuned for a report from day 4 where I make more poor choices and disregard how math works.

For a bit of fun I was min-betting Don't Pass and then every roll betting on Don't Come with max odds.

Didn't feel like it was something worth doing. I'm sure my one anecdote isn't enough to confirm if it's truly a terrible way to play, and any strategy is 'good' if the dice roll the right way that night.

Thought I'd reach out to the hive mind.. How do you guys play dark side? Any particular strategies that you favor?

I'm considering betting the insides and laying 4/10 on my next visit and giving that a crack.

Just left the table. I was the only person there. I'm a low roller. I usually place the 5 or 9 for $10. After the hit , I'll press to $25 or move the bet the six for $24. After that, I'll go $44 inside and just play double tap.

Luckily, made some points and got green action on the inside numbers. Just when I had the gumption to press to the moon, I rolled the 7.

Went $6 across for the dealers. They cashed out for $75.

Is that considered buying in mid-roll? Watched an old timer get mad at some newbies walking up and buying in after he hit his first point. I didn’t have a problem with it but wanted to hear the communities thoughts.

Shooter went on to hit one or two more points before 7 came.

Day two of our family cruise on Adventure of the Seas. Bought in with the $975 in chips I took back to the room last night.

Quick 30 minute session early, ended up at ~$1035 but walked away because the casino was dead during dinner.

Ended up walking around the ship with my kid and she asked to see the chips. Pulled them out of my pocket and a couple fell. Thought I gathered them all up but later discovered I was short one black chip - imma dumbass.

Back to the table an hour later and business had picked up! Played for 3 hours +. Table was cold early and got down to all in when I was rolling. Ended up hitting 4 numbers and that started a slow climb back out of the hole.

I love a loud happy table, lots of cheering for each other and lots of fun. I never bet the middle, but while shooting the pass number was 8 and I threw a nickel on the hard 8 for the dealers and BOOM!

Overall a ton of fun. I also randomly won a drawing for a Miami FC Messi Jersey. Night came to a close when there were 3 consecutive PSO and I figured that was my sign to head back to the room. Cashed out $1,425 after tipping the dealers. Up $450 plus a Messi Jersey after losing a black chip and being all in? This will totally be the best night of the trip in this casino!

$10 min table, 3/4/5 odds. Played pass plus odds, then 2 come + odds. Placed the 6/8 for $30 after the first come out roll, and used them to feed the odds on the come bets.

Dealers are super friendly and learn your name and style very quickly. Drink service is great a server swings by every 5-6 minutes it seems.

I must need this boat to park outside my house for when I want to play.

Started out playing live Friday at 5am.. walked away with 30$ profit. The donts were coming hard at the table so I jetted. Went to Hardrock that afternoon to win around $185 which was great for me considering I’ve been getting wrecked there lately .

Decided to hit Rivers (pa) sat monring around 5am and got absolutely destroyed there. Dealers were nice but total massacre losing 300$ in about 30 min of play. Just could t get a number and craps city over and over. Headed to borgata later that day and ended up making about $85 on a 200$ buy in. Had to chuckle at a guy who was playing the don’t .. pass line for like 500$ and he threw the 7 on the come out 4 times! He then lays the 9 for 1k and throws the 9 .. then he does it again ! Then throws the 9 2 more times . The guy goes on a great 20+ dice roll playing the don’t. He was so angry and chucking the dice super hard. Almost takes my eye out 😂

Sunday morning went live at 5am and a small 40$ win then straight to Hardrock where they had 2-$25 tables that no one was even playing so we went to ocean. They had not even a table open so we went to borgata. Borgata has 2x $25 tables and 1-$50 table . Crapless was jammed zero space till then opened a 15$ table. Managed to get in there and make 0$ dead even after coming down to 90$ from a $300 buy in so I walked and went home.

All in all a fun weekend of craps … except rivers . Don’t think I’ll be going back there it’s kinda ghetto as frkkkkk 🎲🎲

Stayed here from the 16-19 of July. It was hot: around 100+f.

Played simple and conservative $44 inside on a $10 table. Went down $100 early on three consecutive PSO’s. Later, one hot shooter rolled for over an hour. I am new and still learning, so I just kept playing conservatively and collecting. I should have done what the guy next to me did and kept pressing, because he came in for $1500 and walked out with $7000!
I’ll learn how to identify the hot shooters and not miss opportunities lol Still a very good day

Went back for another round of craps at my local Harrah’s Ione last night.

1st session went good. $5 table. Where I min bet across on others and 2 units across for myself.
Bought in $200 and was able to press , press , press and regress when its house money. then 1 unit press til 7. Ran it a few times slowly climbing the $5 mountain. Took first break at $335

My “break” is usually walking around the big casinos a few laps but since this place is so small I take a break at crapless bubble.
$1 ATS $1 min bet across, full press to “double” then regress and repeat until ATS or 7 hits.
I put $20 at a time and was in $60 when I had a good run and cashed out a $100.

Took dinner break.

Came back to the table after a few of the regulars walked up. Put $135 back in trying to make something happen. Great bunch when we are hot but we couldn’t get much going in that hour or so. Trying to catch the good wave I take a break minus that $135

Break at a different crapless machine. This time I’m $80 in when it starts building and building and I’m able to smack the ATS. Cash out $375 ticket.
Stoked and ready to bring good vibes I head back to the table with some more ammo and I walk up to a 7 out.

Daaaaang. Ok welp.
Let’s hop in. Put the $200 back up.

First roll yo,11 then she went 20 rolls without a horn.
Hit the Talls, needed 2 for ALL, and then hit 7 twice resetting the bonus. Next go around the bonus she just needed the 3 and 12 for the ATS. But couldn’t get it again. I regressed twice during the roll. Once early and another after the 7’s came. because I was scaredy cat.
Could’ve had more. But it went well. About $700ish $900ish in the rack.

(I don’t “track” on a come out when it’s not a horn or a 7. So I missed a couple when setting a point, so she could’ve easily had 50 rolls)

Next shooter I went heavy since I had profit. He rolled 4. Ok fine, I’m next and also went heavy. I rolled 3 and that was enough for me.

Cashed out $1075 and a nice iced coffee for the drive home.

Royal Caribbean, Adventure of the Seas. $10 min table with 3/4/5 odds.

First day out of Orlando and table was cold cold. Bought in for $500. Min pass then max odds. If I could get to it, two come bets plus max odds. Occasionally, I would place $30 on the 6/8 to feed the come bet odds.

After 30 minutes I had to buy in again for another $500. Started a slow grind back and had to take a break at $610 to have dinner and hang with the kids for a while. After they went to bed, back down to the table!

Slow grind back with many shooters getting 2-3 numbers before the 7. Eventually it was almost midnight and I cashed out $975. Considering I likely tipped $100 over this time and had plenty of fun - I count it as a win.

Decided to test my luck on Crapless craps again. Only left because they upped the $15 min table to $25 min.

**Time:** 5:45 AM – 6:00 AM on Saturday July 18 2026

**Strategy:** Don't Pass with Max Odds (5x)

I walked up to the craps table at Atlantis in the dead of the night. It was an 80% full table, but completely quiet. These are the tables I love to hammer from the don't pass, they're exhausted. Within two rolls of me standing there, the current shooter sevened out, followed by a massive collective groan from the layout. That led me to believe the table was freezing, so I bought in for $4,000 to start.

The guy next to the left of me was about to roll and immediately started talking the game up: "Oh, okay, I'm about to make all the numbers now. I was just one away from hitting the bonus last time, I'm gonna hit it."*

Honestly, the table vibe was completely dead. If 5/10 is an average level of excitement, this was sitting at about a 2.8/10. It was really bad. Remember it was 545AM. But in my experience, whenever players start talking big like they’re about to hit the bonus, they are about to get absolutely destroyed by the math. I went in there on a mercenary mission to viciously extract some cash from this table. They didn't know what I was about to do, the average buy in at the table was about $400. I bought in $4000.

**Shooter 1:** He establishes an 8 as the point. Remember this is the same guy who claimed he was going to hit the bonus just 2 minutes prior. I immediately bet $150 on the Don't Pass with a $900 max odds lay behind it. He lasted maybe six rolls total, making all sorts of vocalizations during the hand before throwing a 6-1 seven-out. First bet of the session is a quick win. Table is somehow even quieter than before.

After that, I bought in for more, tossing another $5,000 out.

**Shooter 2:** I pressed it up to a $200 DP with a $1,200 max odds lay. This next guy seven-ed out even faster—didn't even make it to four rolls. He established a 6, threw an 11, an 8, and then the 7. Another collective groan from the table.

Having won my first two bets back-to-back, I kept buying in for more to load up my racks. Eventually, I was in for around $16k to $17k total. I just went press, press, press. The table was so icy, and if you can believe it, the hands actually got even shorter. The next shooter was a brutal 8-3-7 straight into the dark side.

I stayed for five rollers total, pressing aggressively the whole time. By the last shooter, the variance was getting real and I was starting to get a bit nervous stomach-ing the size of the action. I had a $250 Don't Pass out there against a point of 5, with $2,250 in max odds behind it. This was my biggest bet of the entire trip. I just had a lot of confidence he wasn't going to make this 5.

On his 3rd overall roll... he rolls....

A 5-2 seven-out! LETS GO! I scream "COME ON!" and the rest of the table is dead silent... remember its 6AM and the casino is empty. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER, 5 or 6 of them while I was at the table, they all seven-ed out. It was a stunning streak.

By this point, the rest of the table was nearly broke—the players had gone down at least 40% since I first walked up. I was just thinking *"Let's go!"* inside. It was a total dream session.

I colored up after that.

Absolute robbery. I robbed that place for $6090 in profit in about 10 to 15 minutes of work. The dealers, everyone was in shock. I colored up $22432 and no one knew what had happened.

I put on an outstanding performance in a session that the other pass line players would want to forget. It was like a dream. Taking a break for awhile thanks for reading. How have your sessions been going?

Another trip to Reno, Nevada to do my content creating at my second home, Grand Sierra Resort. Checked in for the night and got straight to work. Now I had many sessions and little wins here and some losses but ill mention the notable hits send my total after my trip.

Crapless bubble craps i hit the ATS for 10/10/10, hand pay for 2284 with 1796 still in machine, so from a 500 in, close to 4k out. That was my big hit.

Most big hit i got on live craps. I go on to hit the Smalls with 25 on it. Tried to hit the rest of the tall numbers but fell short and 7'd out. This session bought in for 1k and colored up with 2.6k.

After multiple live craps, stadium craps and bubble craps after I tallied up, I was left with 6.4k from my 2k bankroll I brought to play with. Pretty good trip!

Thursday night. Went for a quick trip.

Try and throw some dice for cheap at the $5 table at Harrah’s Nor Cal.

$200 buy in
It went ok at the table. 3 PSO’s when I got to the table followed by a decent 10ish roll and then I rolled 14 numbers. And it was just a slow bleed after that.
Walked away with $100 and took it to bubble.

Put $50 into the crapless. Missing 2 numbers for the $1,1,1 ATS twice.
Doubled up my $50 to $100 so cashed out moved machines and hit a few numbers and the smalls but couldn’t get the ATS, cashed out at $155.

I tried to use my free play at the bubble craps but the screen wouldn’t let me tap my PIN.

So on the way to cashier stopped at this funny bunny tree looking slot. Put my $10 free play and didn’t realize it was $.02 but hit the 176 bet and on first spin hit the bonus. Heat cheeked 2 more spins using up the free play and cashed out the $252

​​Hey everyone, thought I'd share a two-casino session I had on Friday morning (July 17th 2026) out here in Reno, Nevada. Total time played was about 2 hours across both spots.

​Here is how the morning broke down:

​Session 1: Cal Neva (Downtown Reno)

​Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

​Strategy: Don't Pass with Max Odds (3-4-5x)

​This was only my second time playing here. I started with a $5,000 buy-in, betting $80 on the Don't Pass with a $540 max lay. I won my first bet and decided to buy in for more, putting another $5,000 out. The table only had about $10k in black chips total, so they actually had to call for a chip fill right off the bat.

​The session started out incredibly choppy. I’d win the first bet, but then on the next one, the shooter would make the point. I kept pressing—going from $80 DP / $540 lay up to $120 DP / $600 lay, and eventually a $720 max lay—but I just kept losing the pressed bets. It was back-to-back brutal variance. I bought in again, forcing another chip fill. At my lowest point, I had re-bought up to $25,000 total, but only had about $10,000 in front of me (down $15,000).

​Thankfully, a late streak saved me. We hit about 4 to 7 seven-outs in a row. I pressed aggressively: press, press, press, press. By the end, I was firing $250 on the Don't Pass with $1,500 in odds. The final roll was against a point of 6. Shooter rolled a 3-4 seven-out, and I literally screamed, "LET'S GO!"

​Session 2: Atlantis

​Time: Right after Cal Neval(1:30PM-1:50PM)

​Strategy: Pass Line + Come Bets with Max Odds

​After taking the small hit at Cal Neva, I headed over to the Atlantis. Walked up to the table, and shooter immediately made his first point number. That was my cue to jump on the Pass Line. I bought in for $4k initially.

​I started at $100 on the Pass Line with $500 odds. At Atlantis they allow 5x odds on all numbers. The shooter went on an absolute tear, hitting a ton of 7s and 11s on the come-out. He did not say a single word during his roll. I pressed my line bet up to $175, then $200, 250 and the table was going nuts. Because things were looking so good, I added another $5,000 buy-in (putting me at $9,000 total for this session). I bought in again to put me in for $12000. All this happened in about 15 min at the table. He would set a point and then hit it immediately. Followed by 7s on Come out.

​Unlike Cal Neva, there was zero downswing here. Pure heater. By the end of his run, I was betting $250 on the Pass Line with $1,500 odds, and dropping a $150 Come bet on every single roll. The shooter made three points and hit four Come bets along the way.

​On the very last roll, I got a bit lucky. I had my $250 Pass Line with $1,500 odds against a point of 9, plus three active Come bets out there. I had a gut feeling and pulled all three of my Come bets down. Sure enough, next roll was a 5-2 seven-out. Meaning I dropped $1750 on the last roll when I should have dropped at least $1k more. I colored up after that, shooter colored up also.

​Atlantis Result: Up about $6,000 for the session. Happened in 15 min.

​When you math out the total actual cash I brought to the tables versus what I walked away with:

Pretty new to craps, and a low stakes player. Recently I've been on what feels to be an incredible losing streak - back to back PSOs and the like. Last 5 sessions have been losses in under 15mins for all of them.

Just wondering what the longest losing streak you guys have been on is, and if you have any favorite low bankroll strategies.

Any Granton Casino Craps players here in this forum. How do you like the craps game here.

Any 6-7-8 Players Specifically. Would like to learn more from the strategy. I am Dark Side player but I am liking the 6-7-8 strategy a lot.
