What country song talks about flooding but its a reference to a couple having a falling out but also starts off with a dj talking about the hurricane I thought it was called flood or the flood but it wasn't he says something about the flood waters are reaching the porch and its just keeps pouring down

Most of the country I listen to is Michael Nesmith's solo stuff, or his country songs from The Monkee days. I would love to listen to similar artists/albums!

When Saving Country Music does these festival reviews, it's always a great place to find new music to listen to. This one contains some really big independent country artists but also quite a few folks I haven't heard of. Looks like an amazing festival.

I went down a rabbit hole of Addison Johnson's songwriting recently. Killer stuff. It reminds me a little bit of Ben Jarrell, but with those slightly more 90s neo traditional sound than the timeless outlaw thing that Ben does. He released a new album recently but I really like the previous one that this song is from

me and my sisters used to watch music videos off our computer and there’s a specific one i have been trying to find basically my whole life when it pops up in my head.

i believe he used to be a bull rider and got hurt and everything became a blur. a good portion of the music video is in a ranch setting with black gate/rings.
