Photography / Videography "Secret" cove out west
Screengrab from a recent video I made. I say secret, but this spot was all over the media a few years back. As a rule I don't approve of posting anywhere truly secret, but those places are becoming fewer and fewer...
In case you are wondering, the full video is here: https://youtu.be/6YEgecwIyak

1996 - 2000. Visitor Attraction with Human Hamster Wheel and scienceāy things inside. Anyone remember?
Iām trying to remember a visitor attraction i went to a long time ago. No idea of location, other than Cornwall.
It was likely sometime between 1996 and 2000, and all I remember was that they had a human hamster wheel that you could use, and it had a science type vibe to it.
There was maybe a ball-floating-on-air machine (Bernoulli blower), and maybe an oversize ball bearing track run.
The closest vibe of the place Im trying to remember is kind of like Heartlands in Pool.
Can anyone help pinpoint what Iām remembering. Thanks!

2 week trip Cornwall early october - recommendations
Hi everyone,
I'm planning aĀ 2-week trip to Cornwall in early OctoberĀ with my wife and our dog, and I'd love some local recommendations.
We're looking for:
- AĀ quiet areaĀ rather than busy tourist hotspots.
- Easy access to theĀ South West Coast PathĀ for hiking and trail running.
- Dog-friendly beaches and pubs.
- Beautiful coastal scenery.
- Preferably somewhere that's not too expensive.
We're happy to drive for day trips, but we'd like to stay in one place for the whole two weeks.
If you had two weeks in Cornwall in October, where would you stay and why?
Thanks!

Photography / Videography The views of Cornwall
Never to be underestimated, especially not in the summer. You could be anywhere in the world, the Caribbean, a Greek island or the Seychelles, but you're not. You're just down the road from the nearest pasty shop.

Tourism Seeking suggestions for where to park up with caravan for a few hours.
Family of 4 travelling down to Newquay overnight Sunday 2nd August. Weāre staying at Quarryfields at Crantock for a fortnight from 3rd.
The issue is we canāt get onto our pitch until around midday (which is fairly normal, but most bigger sites have a holding area for this eventuality). We will be travelling overnight due to the distance weāre travelling with 2 young children - 6 to 7hrs.
Iām looking for suggestions as to where we might park up for a few hours if we arrive around 7-8am. Ideally somewhere like a cafe for truck drivers with a big car park where we can get breakfast and chill, but open to alternative suggestions or ideas. TIA

Recommendations Things to do around Perranporth
Hi all
Iām staying at Perran Sands Haven resort this week. Looking for any recommendations for places to go / things to see with my 16 and 18 year old kids. Happy to drive. So far have been recommended Elephant Rock and Tintagel castle. They get bored easily so anything adventurous (but not too pricey) would be good. We will probably want to do one day on the beach - thinking just to go to Perranporth Beach unless anyone has a better suggestion. Thanks!

Pregnant and parking: Do you put signs on your car window for space?
I saw something on Instagram where a woman put a sign on her car window driver side saying āIām pregnant, please leave me some spaceā so that cars left enough room to open her door wide enough for bump.
We have a council owned guaranteed space, but donāt know the person who has the one next to us (the spaces serve a lot of surrounding roads so itās not a known neighbour situation where we can speak in person and have literally never run into them!). The spots are a bit tight, as many are here in Cornwall, so I am concerned I soon wonāt be able to get in the car if the person next to us parks a bit close or wonky (which they are prone to do on occasion).
Is the note a good idea? How would you react to it? Not sure if it would have the opposite effect and cause annoyance!

Tamar foods/samworth brothers?
Would anyone be able to give me some insight into the hiring process for here please?
I have applied for a job there. I had I believe a screening phone call today and I remember something about interviews being next week and Iāll hear something then?
Also those of you who work there - how do you get there? Drive? Public transport? Etc?
Thank you!
