Just my humble cap collections

One of the first things my wife and I did after we got married was combine our badge collections. I feel this showed great commitment on both sides.

The Pop Group, Clash City Rockers, Ralph Records and Zip Nolan are all vintage late 1970s era.

The Cycling Proficiency Badge is from around 1969 when I proved that I could ride my bike in a straight line for 50 yards.

I wouldn't say we actually actively collect badges though. They just sort of accumulate by themselves, like dust.

These will be sorted, counted, divided up, and sent off to seven other bread tab collectors :)

Hello! I was just given these super cool covers by a family member, and wasn't sure how best to preserve them. I didn't even know they were a thing to collect until they asked me if I wanted them. They figured since I was in the military that it would be something nice to have. So I want to make sure what they've so painstakingly collected doesnt deteriorate or get chewed on by my cats. So yeah, how would more experienced matchstick book collectors go about storing these? Added cat tax, as necessary.

i included close up photos of some of my favorites. I’ve gotten these from antiques stores, family friends, as gifts, and yard sales. I’ve used these to teach the children in my family about history and geography starting early

Two harmonicas, one mandolin, a bowed psaltery, a clarinet, saxophone, one busted bicycle horn, three violins… and my beloved cello (two decades since I restrung and played her, she is the love of my life… and recently tuned up!)

I have a few more [instruments] but I haven’t hunted them down yet 😂

If you’re curious about any of them, just ask! I have stories about every single one of them EXCEPT the clarinet— have no idea where that even came from.

You won’t be seeing Minnie anymore because she’s been replaced with Leroy. I had to get a new red mini backpack because Minnie started peeling.
