Got some free SDCC swag but don’t play the game so here’s some free codes.

I went and did some testing, comparing Madelyne Pryor’s damage output between her without a relic, her with a Ghost Rider relic, and her with an Iron Fist relic.

As far as variables are concerned, both relics were 3*s at max rank and level, and an Innate value of 100. If you use battlecasts of higher rarity, they will perform even better - these ones were chosen so they could be fairly compared to one another.

How Madelyne’s degeneration effect works: Madelyne’s degeneration effect does not (strictly) deal a fixed amount of damage. Her degeneration effects scale proportionally to the negative difference in buff potency when a buff with reduced potency is triggered.

Thus, Madelyne’s gameplay loop is to inflict her personal Misery buffs on the opponent when they are over The Pit (a region created by her SP2). While the opponent is over the Pit, they are hindered (a condition that reduces buff potency); so any buff the opponent gains while hindered inflicts a degeneration effect based on how much buff potency was lost due to the condition.

The two relics, Ghost Rider and Iron Fist affect Madelyne’s degeneration in different ways: the Ghost Rider relic buffs the degeneration damage, while the Iron Fist relic further reduces the potency of the opponent’s buffs by a flat amount.

Looking at Madelyne’s degeneration activations with 3 Misery buffs active (a rather simple and consistent place I could use to benchmark her) the Ghost Rider relic increased the damage per tick by 19 points (once again, 3 relic). Similarly, the Iron Fist relic increased the damage per tick by 39 points - almost double the effect of the Ghost Rider relic.

The Iron Fist relic has another perk over the Ghost Rider relic as well - since it reduces all the buff potency on the defender, you do not have to wait for the opponent to be hindered (or over The Pit) to start dealing degeneration damage to them. That said, these aren’t huge degeneration effects - the majority of Madelyne’s damage is going to come from degens under her hinder effect… but all DPS is utility, so you might as well take advantage of that free damage.

Plus, the Iron Fist battlecast at higher rarities can have a rune that increases Madelyne’s block proficiency, which is great to help you keep her force field active longer.

Hi guys, im watching seatins free to play right now doing some carinas challenges, and im wondering how alot of these free to play accounts get so many potions, he has around 100 revives (even 25 L3 revs) and around 50 of each potion up to the L6 ones, and im just wondering how to get so many, im wanting to start the carinas challenges but cant seem to get a hold of a meaningful stash of potions.

I have him as 1* and that is it, is he only in the 2014 crystals?

Wondering what people think are the worst fights in Act 9, now i dont mean the hardest fights, because for me that would be 9.3.6 doom, but it isnt a bad fight, just a hard one. The worst fight for me was the 9.4.3 Arcade boss, he felt totally unfair and i felt like i needed a champ with so many specific things to be able to beat him without revives. Any other fights you guys felt were just straight up rubbish?
