Anyone been to the India leg of his tour recently? Or just seen this show he's been doing a while now?

I love the guy and his wit and the fact that he has a spine and really wanna go to the show but I'd like it if someone could share their review of what the show was like (without spoilers ofc) and what to expect.

I'm new to the stand-up scene as well as the "grown up person having their own money and free will to consume art and media" so I'd like to make good decisions with the immense power that I have now

Before you call this a terrible comparison, hear me out.

I'm not comparing the quality of their content.

I'm talking about what they've become.

Sourav Joshi reached a point where people didn't watch because of what he was doing-they watched because people became addict to his talking style, behaviour, family reactions etc, similarly people are now addicted to the things which samay is doing, his talking, his reactions on things, expressions and we all know there is nothing funny left in him now but still we will watch him as our inner instinct would stay with us that we have to

watch how he reacts.

Am I completely off here, or does this comparison actually make sense?

Went to watch IGL S2 live yesterday, and honestly… it was a completely different experience.
The version we’re watching on Netflix and YouTube is way more edited. Watching it live gave me the exact same feeling as Season 1 completely unfiltered, full of dark jokes, and just absolute chaos.
Samay also mentioned that his legal team reviews the final edit. Plus, the version he’s putting online is intentionally a little cleaner and more family-friendly because it monetizes much better than S1.
So if you’re watching S2 online and wondering why it feels toned down, that’s probably the reason. The live show is on another level.

Is anyone else watching Rohan Joshi’s Coke Matchday Hangout streams? He's doing football watchalongs with Sakshi Shivdasani, Kaashvi Hiranandani, Dalima Chhibber, and guests. Honestly, it's super entertaining even for non-football fans. Surprised it hasn't been brought up here yet!

Just saw the latest episode, and Madhur said multiple times that it will probably be the last episode for Madhur Model. He alluded that it's due to the recent backlash on one of his old jokes. Man i am so so sad. This was one of the best (if not the best) comedy shows out there currently. I literally wait every week for a new episode to drop. I don't know why all the good shows are being scrapped in favour of more brain-rotted shows. Seeing all the past comedians come on the episode was just a reminder of how much effort Madhur has put in all these months.

I'm seriously hoping that this isn't true, or that Madhur finds a way to continue Madhur Model, and I hope the audience supports him more yaar. He's actually a really great comedian and one of the funniest ones in the current comedy circuit.
