I think I saw a similar colour palette for the kitchen somewhere but I can't remember where. anyway, these were fun! I was also happy to see that this technique already inspired some of you to try it yourself! :)

I found this one a little tricky. Overall I think it works.

I’m glad that I didn’t mess up the water because it was kinda hard creating the waves with white acrylic gel pen. I need to work on my sky coloring skills. Any recommendations which color combo you normally use for blue sky? TIA.

How did I do?

I wanted to try to color hydrangeas without taking too much time…😅 But again, I was super entrained that ended up coloring for more than 2hrs.

I always struggle when it comes to the sky especially when the background takes up a lot of space and you have to follow the marker lines constantly until the end. I’m not very good at blending and stuff like that, I want to make the top of the sky a bit darker and kind of blend down in this picture, any tips for getting it to look good and not like I just whacked some dark blue at the top? Also why do my sparkles not look very much like sparkles lol? I just went over them with white pen but they don’t look very nice.

I tried to practice the glass effect with alcohol markers. I did okay... ish. Still need to get the hang of it and doing the highlights.

Advice is appreciated. I'm still new to alcohol markers. I have the Ohuhu brand Kaala B Illustration set (60).

Decided to sit back and relax by doodling Woody Woodpecker! I think it came out decent. Not the best, but that is what practice is for!

I know there are some parts where the ink from the lines smudged into the colors which sucks 😞 this is also my first post on Reddit!!! This was just me having fun nothing too serious :)

From Coco Wyo's "Food & Drink Mini Coloring Book"

Found an old sketchbook (well over 10 years) of some sharpie art I did, back when I got the full set of regular and thin sharpies in every color. Miraculously, with the sketch pad, I also found a bag with most of the sharpies in it, and I tested them all and all but like 1-2 still work! Havnt touched them in over 10 years! Lol anyway here they are. Sorry about the grey sky, I know it looks bad lol Sharpies aren’t really ideal for larger areas 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also I was super into “zen doodle” and the like , at the time. Hence the designs inside each object lol.

I really love colors. I'm not a trained artist in any way; I want to learn more about color and drawing. Do you have any advice to improve this doodle? Thank you!
