do you guys believe lelouch actually had feelings for cc or she was just a tool for him ? we know very well that lelouch is a master manipulator , he seemed to have a genuine connection with her but it’s unknown if it was true or just another part of his agenda . what do you guys think ? personally i believe he might’ve actually liked her despite having a cold heart .

Im literally lost for words I dont think I couldve ever expected this to happen I’ve purposefully stayed away from any code geass discussions to avoid spoilers but I really didnt think anything like this could ever happen

As a first time watcher I have really appreciated this shows willingness to kill off innocent people and show the real consequences of war but I never thought they would simply show us a massacre of innocent people and how it all went down has me fucking shocked im writing this about 5 minutes after ending the episode and I really dont know how to feel I immediately went to google and went to discussions about this episode

this is probably one of the most beautifully written shows ive ever watched (not just anime) and the plot twists that it brings I literally could have never seen coming im normally one of those people who try to guess the ending of a show or the big plot twists and im normally right because I feel a lot of the shows can be generic but this show has kept me on my toes the entire time and im not even done with the first season

I did not really mind things when I first watched the anime, and still don't to this day. However, I understand that there are things some people (if not most) saw as toxic (whatever it means). To me, it was simply a fictional romance that was written the way it was need, for good or ill.

[Start]

Ohgi helped Villetta in order to get some information about Zero. However, let's say that instead of taking her home, he brought her to an hospital and after that kept visiting her to check up on her.

Still suffering from amnesia, as I doubt Britannia as a cure for it, she hasn't told anyone about Zero. Eventually, she's discharged from the hospital, but due to her condition she's removed from active duty for the time being and offered to be sent back to the homeland for recovery.

However, she choose to stay in Area 11 and desire to repay Ohgi for helping her and visiting her at the hospital. The few people in the military that knew her before the amnesia would definitely find that out of character for her to grateful to a number, but let it slide since it stem from her being amnesiac.

Eventually, she invites herself to live at Ohgi's place, and things starts to follow the canon progression (Homemade bentos with octopus wieners and the Ashford Academy Culture Festival "date", etc.)

This is just a base idea and is by no mean full proof. I'm sure some people can points out some flaws. In any case, how would you picture a better written romance or, at least, less "questionable" romance for these two?

Also, for the people that are not pro OhgiXVilletta or simply have a low opinion on the topic. This post isn't about "How toxic/problematic this relationship is", but "What if it was written better, how would it be written?" So please, stay on topic. (Maybe I could rephrase that last paragraph better, but I'm not sure how. In any case, I do not wish to antagonize anyone. We're all Code Geass fans and have are own opinion.)

I just watched all code geass series/films I realy liked it but are we getting any new films or series?

She was probably stoned to ‘death’ for the first time. Why?

In R2 ep 15, she mentions how her Geass was to be loved. Her Geass resulted in people starting a cult around her. Imagine what happened when she lost the power and the Geass wore off (this is an assumption as there is a possibility that it’s permanent).

They blamed her for bewitching the populace and then stoned her to ‘death’. There is a scene where CC is stoned in what seems to be the same religious place as where she first obtained her Code.

It’s a sad theory but I think it’s very well possible. What do you think of it?
