Question Did Scrap ask for a PC swap in this series too?
Why does Scrap always underperform in champs?

Simpler times man. Instead we have 9k pull rate controllers and 500 hz monitors. Just go back to console.

I personally would love to see a Dashy/Drazah duo enabling a sub duo.

I think they all played equally as shit as each other but who as the absolute worst. Dashy couldn’t buy a kill the first 2 maps and had 2 kills in 11 rounds. Merc forgot he had a 1.3 SND KD and decided to chall everything and get shit on. Huke was an easy kill on every respawn and Shotzzy made multiple of the biggest Scams we have ever seen. Also he was neutralized in respawn’s.
I think every player/role got significantly outplayed by their FaZe counterpart.
Abuzah was the best player in the lobby/Dashy might have been the worst
Simp was simp and was amazing in SND/Shottzy had his worst GF’s performance of all time
04 Made huge plays and won his team maps/Huke didn’t elevate his team and played down to their shittiness
Drazah shut down Shottzy/Dashy and was great in SND/Merc was horrible in SND and played very dumb
Overall who was the worst player you think or was it just a collective effort of dogshit.

Major 1 KD - .73
Major 4 KD - .94
Champs KD - .84
Is he playing with his monitor off? Is he playing with toes? Every time this kid gets a chance, he blows it 🤦♂️

I saw only like 2 posts about the Adderall stuff that transpired this weekend. (Maybe mods banning posts idk)
All the pros acted like nothing happened (obviously)
The former pros/streamers haven’t said anything about it except Octane (who I love) but he also ran from the convo and gave a basically nothing burger answer.
Why are we sweeping the Adderall usage under the rug? Is it because maybe most of the league is on it? Is it because the top teams have players using it?
I know it’s been a thing in cod from the start, but the longer it’s ignored the more likely chance that someone overdoses. Like this shit is serious and I rather see careers get ruined rather than lives.

The pro’s need to be a bigger voice or else this game will crumble and fall! As it is already! They have to start speaking up now! Not only for themselves but for the community as well! Because Mw4 looks like an absolute joke and it feels like they are calling us stupid and copy pasted the whole game acting like we would just accept it! So cod pro’s ex pros anybody with a voice needs to wake up and start speaking out loud! And the funny part is they don’t even invite the ex pros to these play test it’s such a joke and even if they do the ex pros just stay silent and take the bag

Unlike MW2, it has red dots, a ninja perk, and slide canceling/good movement. What exactly is the issue?

I feel like it makes sense regardless of what they do with Abezy/Nium. Having your star SMG & glue guy is an excellent foundation that would attract those 2 tier of stars.

I know it is bad for viewers but it's only for a little part of game, and i don't know if they can only do it for in person crowd prob not but disable map and x ray for plants. Once plant go down camera only on the person that needs to defuse, x ray off and map off, kinda like in Val if some of you watch how they do for 1v1, in cod we can do it for 1v1 plants or just for all plants in general but feels this is a simple fix, and it's only for LANs obviously.

Just curious if theyre all running the same SSDs?
From my understanding the PC is able to be transferred between players via SSD being swapped between. Is this true?
Do new players get nicer SSDs? Is that why 04 is frying???

With the season done & we can take the results into the picture, who are you choosing to team with next year as a TO2 and who would you put around you?
r/CoDCompetitive • u/gregraystinger • 5h ago
Never been to an event before but just from the streams it’s become much more noticeable over the last few seasons. Is just because there are better/more crowd mics? Or have crowds just gotten larger and more rambunctious? If you’ve been to many events over the years im interested in your thoughts.

I feel like they really don't have much depth at all compared to previous games. Den, Colo, and Scar are such 1 dimensional maps, and most of the SnD maps aren't too interesting. The run forward loop on many hills (Den P2 is a great example). Feels suffocating with how limited the routes you can take sometimes.
I do think Haci and Sake were great additions to the map pool regarding more depth, but the other 3 are definitely stale to me at this point. Watching is still fun at the highest level of course, but playing ranked / 8s is definitely different.
Didn't feel this at all in MW3, and shit, some how BO6 maps overall had more freedom to them. Den SnD is pretty atrocious, and I feel like Raid doesn't play as well as it did back in the day.

off the top of my head it's probably near the bottom of the list for black ops games but above WW2, mw2019, vanguard. Likely a touch behind mw3 (2023) for me. Not a horrific game but also not one that had me itching to play like a good CoD does.
Didn't love the maps which always impacts the enjoyment level a pretty significant amount. The mpc meta change (for ranked/watching CDL) wasn't my favorite either. Also wish we had an AR with some semblance of actual recoil/skill gap.
Idk the consensus but I quite enjoy omni-movement. They did a good job with it. Same with the wall jumping. Made the game more "cracked/fun" than if it didn't have them.
Overload I honestly never truly came to love, but I also never hated it. From a viewing perspective or in ranked. It had its highs and had its lows.
Early looks of the new game have me thinking we'll miss this game dearly though because I think that game looks like absolute ass, but I hope I am wrong.
Curious what others thought of this game.

Reasons:
- At Champs you have to win 5 maps instead of 4 to win the grand final. That's a really huge difference.
- The prize pool is bigger, which makes it way harder to win each map.
- You have to compete against fewer teams, which actually makes it harder.

M8s next season could have an insane roster of they can pull it off
Joe, Hydra, Scrap & Ethan
Joe is already locked up with them
Hydra is the goal for them it's obvious
But along with Hydra, Scrap could go with since M8s was who was competing with Theives for them in BO6 off-season so I'd say it's very possible if they want to stick together anyway (can't seem them going falcons)
Ethan - potential future superstar if it pays off it could be an incredible team.

With the break between Major IV and Champs, teams scrim and prepare their first round matches like crazy.
Is it possible that a reason Scrap has done poorly in the last two Champs is that his playstyle is too reliant on gunny, and too predictable. Maybe teams know that he is the heart of LA Thieves and they plan around his fav spots and how/where he likes to rotate?
There is a mental issue from Scrap that factors in, but it truly cannot only be this… right?
