VALORANT New Episode of Valorant Docu Series + Thoughts About It and The Org.

Before I say anything: This video is very very well done, props to our creative staff (and those around them) who despite everything, have always produced some of the best content in esports, with what seems to be, shrinking resources. Big ups to them.

Now to the rest (sorry for the novel)...

The documentary is worth a watch, gives you a lot of insights into our stage and how we arrived where we are. This isn't a TLDR, I recommend you watch it. But my only reaction is that it did nothing but disconnect me even further from whatever vision Jack, Johnny, Immi, and Zellsis have for this team. Begging players who quit on the team to comeback, needed to try and convince players who want out (and aren't performing) to stay. Another runback of the Immi project, which hasn't worked. Has been good enough to be close, and thats its peak. To continue claim that we beat ourselves, and can never seem to fix that. How much is enough? How many "almost guys" is needed before "management" makes the decision to try and actually win? Its pathetic. Nothing against the rookies, who are just just caught in the fire. Not their fault.

Beyond Valorant:

Jack, imo, has completely lost his way, and is not capable of running a modern day esports team. The good ole days were great, but those are long long gone. He and the president (former team manager Jonathan) are amazing at keeping investors happy. Happy they are building the org for the future, so it still exists. But they forgot about winning, which is important in an esport and in a team. They, alongside anyone else in their circle, are terrible at pretty much anything outside of the financial. I am glad the org is padding pockets for a select few, while the teams lose, make no events, all while long time fans sit here and cheer for the org like idiots and/or just leave to another team or leave esports entirely. All while the brand is dragged through the mad, and becomes hated by folks as we make the moves that we make. We cant build and maintain a winning roster to save our lives, cant deliver titles, very little for fans to interact with, no merch, just a pitiful state for the org. One that at one point, was proven winner. Known for its commitment to winning. Valorant is one of the few esports where NA is the best, and we haven't made a single international outside of the one everyone went too in our entire history lol

David Han who recently stepped away, did an interview with Cloud Sidky. Much of it is about David himself or SR, but there is one line in particular, where he says that Jack continues to have the final decision on most things, and that he believes that at SR he will have more of that. Copium aside, we are on our way to miss out on another set of internationals in all our esports. And the most we get or hear from our management (Jack at this point) is congratulating others on their success and saying goodbye/congrats to all the staff we have who move on to other places.

We are a joke in every esport we are in, outside of two teams really. The League team who while has some respect, is known for being professional chokers and late season collapses. And out Game Changers team, which you should all be supporting, as for the first time in over a year, actually made watching Valorant fun when they debuted for us earlier this week. Hopefully C9 is committed to this team, but given how we run things, its hard to 100% believe.

This is the sorry state that the higher ups in C9 have drive the team too. Its a damn shame. If Jack gives a damn, he will respond and talk to the fans like Arnold from Gen.G does, whenever we at this point, inevitably, fail. Admit to what the org is/is supposed to be now so we adjust our expecations or leave, or commit to fixing it by making the moves that a team that cares about winning and its fans, actually makes. I am not fairweather, if we lose, as long as we actually try, I am still here. My issues arise when it feels like we stopped trying/stopped caring. The fact that the Immi project continues, should tell you enough. Either start caring again, hire a proper GM who isnt shackled, or simply wrap it up and tell us what the new standard is.

TLDR: Orgs mangament (Jack, Jonathan etc) has lost its way/doesnt care anymore. And everyone besides investors suffers from it as a result.

League Stakes for Summer Split

LCS Summer in coming up in just under 2 weeks, and I've decided to place a bet on this team. I haven't cut or trimmed my hair in nearly two years.

So if C9 fail to make top 3 and, thus, fail to make worlds for the 3rd year in a row, I lop these locks off. Full buzz cut, start from square one. And I'll post the proof.

I was thinking about what I could do if the boys not just make top 3 but win a title or make top 8 at worlds, but couldn't think of anything off he top of my head. Any ideas, feel free to leave suggestions in the replies.

Don't let my hair down, boys. #C9WIN

Title speaks for itself. I'm not sure what a contract buyout would be like for him, or if Jack has the money right now. But what is everyone's thoughts on us potentially trying to grab Dylan for the coaching staff? Even if he doesn't coach, we do have an open GM position now he could fill as well. I personally think we should try to grab him.

League After seeing LYON at MSI, this sub is too harsh on Blabber.

Blaber consistently lost to Inspired, but it’s clear now LYON is on a completely different level. I think we might be too harsh on Blaber, he is still one of the best jungler in NA behind Inspired.
