Update: Honda has confirmed the move in a statement to Carscoops, though the company frames it around “evolving business conditions” rather than the EPA certification issue cited in the leaked plant notice. Both trims are planned to return, and dealer stock should last into early 2027.

“Due to evolving business conditions, production of the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired to the 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) will be paused at the conclusion of the 2026 model year,” a Honda spokesperson told us.

“In the U.S., this powertrain is available in the Honda Civic Si and Acura Integra A-Spec. Importantly, Honda and Acura currently plan for both trims to return to the lineup and American Honda expects to share more details at the appropriate time. Based on current forecasts, American Honda expects dealer inventory to remain available into early 2027.”

It's been about a month since the updated wheel and height adjustments. So far, it's been great! Tires are holding up to the more aggressive camber, and just about no scraping. When I do scrape, it's going over a speedbump ~5mph because the Q300 exhaust's mid-pipe hangs low unfortunately. Easy remedy would be to cut out the connection point where the two pieces meet and have it welded. I'll get to it eventually. For peace of mind, I installed a k-tuned oil pan crash bar which still hangs higher than the q300, lol!

I have some rear clunk occurring when turning into mild inclines, which signals that I need to go ahead and install new rear sway bar end links from Whiteline and inspect the bushings.

In the next few weeks, I'm going to install the bigger calipers/rotors in the front with some stainless steel brake lines along with fresh brake fluid. With the Texas weather right now, I'm sure it'll be fun..

As we know, the windshield wiper problem is real. There aren’t many that fit, and I made a post a little bit ago about wanting to try silicone blades. I was between PIAA and Kimblade, but couldn’t find if PIAA fit our wiper arms. I got the Kimblade ones, hoping they fit, and THEY DO. So there ya go. They work great, too. No noise, no chatter, and super clean wipe (lol). Just can’t use wax on my windshield anymore.

I’ve been looking at some 18x8.5 +30 ESR sr01’s for my civic.
My FG2 is bone stock and I’ve got a fresh set of 215/40/18 tires for it. My questions are, is +30 too aggressive? How bad would the rubbing be? Would they bend my fenders on max compression?
Any help would be appreciated you guys (and gals) are goated

hey everyone.. so i got a 5 speed yaris rn, its the first car i learned manual on, i still love it but with how underpowered it is, its kinda starting to show for me lol. and i think its time for me to upgrade to something with some actual power.

i know hondas way better so si feels like the safe pick for me, but speed3s keep popping up way cheaper than similar year SIs, and i actually like that car too, not knocking it.

what actually makes the si worth paying more for vs just grabbing the cheaper speed3? is it really that much better long term or am i just paying extra for the honda name?

Hello, I have just got a 2014 si and I’m looking to either put coilovers on it or maybe get a bigger rear sway bar and just get shocks and springs, I want to keep it mostly on the street with an oe+ sort of build but right now my shocks are gone and I’m bouncing all over the place. I don’t exactly want to lower it as I drive on rough and uneven roads sometimes. And I’m hesitant to get the coilovers as I hear problems start happening as soon as -30° C hits. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has put coilovers on there car, what sort of issues have you had?

Why is it that the break hold is automatically turned on sometimes? I prefer it turned off and it’s no big deal to just press the button but I am wondering if there’s a reason why it’s automatically off sometimes and other times it is automatically on.

I have a 2007 civic si and i am planning to buy a intake for my car (Specifically the Ktuned intake), however I live in the Midwest and wanted some opinions on whether i should get a cold air intake or a short ram intake. I do know that generally the Cold air intake is better and I do want to track this car next season but this is also my daily driver so i want the most optimal performance without sacrificing reliability.

Over the past year or so I’ve been slowing getting different mods for my 2020 Civic Si, some of which came on it when I bought it( Listed in the picture below). I’ve gotten to the point where the new stuff, being the race maf and turbo inlet, I need to tune it. I’ve been running P0420 for months with the new catted downpipe and it’s time to get rid of it. I have the Ktuner 2.0 unlocked but have no idea how to use it, yet. I was curious and thought I’d put this out there to see if anyone had any advice on where to start or something to base it on. This is the second time I have tried to put this badge on my car, the front is fine, but no matter what I do the back dosent cooperate, All old adhesive removed, cleaned, then wiped with alcohol, heat gun, all the above, why is it doing this?
