Another user posted a question here about cupholder solutions for larger water bottles in the 11th gen civic. A second user linked to a Tacoma forum where guys had been hanging rock climbing chalk bags from their center console. I absolutely had to try it!
This bag isn't anything special, and its not a great color, but it was Prime, and it seems to work well so far. I first tried hanging it on one of the clips for the faux carbon fiber top trim. There are only 2 clips on the passenger side. The forward clip put my bottle too far away from me, and the aft clip put it too close to the passenger seat. I was able to get the loops smashed in between the 2nd trim and the bottom trim as shown in the last pic, and I think this works the best. Bottle is a 40oz ThermoFlask from Costco.

Honestly am I still high from the weed last night or is the market high? Who’s smoking what here?
This 19 has 48k miles on it. One owner and Honda preowned certified. I think it has lifetime powertrain warranty? But 26k 27k?!?!
Edit: got them down to like 24k pre tax and fees which is still crazy

For reference, I have a K24Z7 Acura ILX. Just a Civic Si minus LSD. But I suspected you all may have more insight considering it’s just a 2013 Si.
Previous owner cross threaded the spark plug. I noticed pulls were a little weird. So considering I was at 150,00km, I swapped the spark plugs. Cylinders 1-3 took me 10 minutes collectively, easy peezy right? Nope, Cylinder 4 took my 45 minutes to get out.
Now it was my wise idea to do this on a Sunday night with work in the morning. So what do I do? Just send ‘er and carefully send in a new NGK plug. I can’t tell if it’s torqued right but after driving it for 2 months, she’s smoother, there’s no leaks, no soot, and no misfires as all.
Now in present day, my mechanic is my god father and I mentioned it in passing, but he seemed pretty concerned. Said we should definitely look at it within the few weeks, take the plug out and see if we need to heli-coil it or replace the cylinder head. A sub $1000 repair or upwards of $3000-4000 repair depending on the damage.
I just bought this car 5 months ago for $13000 CAD and I absolutely love it. Im about to go on a 1600km road trip, I’ve put over 10,000km on the crossthreaded spark plug and she’s working like a dream. Also consider I want to keep this car till the engine gives out.
My question to you all.
Should I be worried? Is it even worth it or should I sell off the car? Should I get it checked out as soon as possible?
I understand metallurgy and the heat cycles can weaken the threads overtime. But I’m not sure what to do.
Update: I’ve scheduled it in for a heli-coil replacement. Mechanic is pretty confident I won’t need a head replacement but just to be prepared. He mentioned how he’s not worried it’s gonna fail. But he is worried the heat cycles will cause the plug to get stuck.

Seen it today it has 10K Miles (2025)
Mind you I would rather a white one or black as second option but I don’t hate the color
Price it’s 32K should I keep looking or pull the trigger?
I think I can negotiate it down to 30/29ish
Just seeing if it would be better to get this or a 2024 Sport Touring Manual transmission one

I have an Fa5 with KuerLED headlights, I want to install an FD2 front end conversion kit but I want to keep the headlights I have, I know the bumper won’t fit and I’ll need to find a solution for that but will the fenders still line up with the headlights?

So I’ve been thinking about doing some minor mods, I love the car stock as it but I feel like something is missing. What are some minor mods I can do whether it’s cosmetic or something easy that adds to experience?

My dealer has a brand new Urban Grey Pearl Si coming in, that will be here by the end of next week. I really think I want to buy it, but a few simple questions. Anyone changed the rear blinkers to LED's? Are there other incandescent lights on the outside of the car? I cannot stand incandescent lighting on a new car these days. Such a cheap thing for Honda to have skimped on. Anything in particular on the car I should check before purchasing? I'm not new to cars, buying new cars/used cars, but first time purchasing a Honda. I'm fully aware they are good cars, so I'm not worried about reliability. Adding the car to the current stable, so this will just be a fun 4-door scoot-around-town car, that actually has a manual. I'll do a few mods, but nothing overboard and obnoxious. Just a nice commuter car that is fun.
Any other info is greatly appreciated.
Note: They have a brand new red one, which I test drove, but didn't want red. Was actually looking to get white, but they don't have a white one, nor one incoming. However they have the new Urban Grey coming in, and that color is actually quite nice, so I'm fine with this.

So I just purchased these ESR Rims off FB Marketplace yesterday. I’m trying to find lug nuts that will actually fit on them.

Rather than fish through the internet to countless sites and posts, i figured i would ask everyone here. I am a 10th gen Si owner (I have been for 10 years) and i am finally in a place financially to be able to start the process of full bolt-on mods. I had a list of parts and companies to buy from. Most of them were from MA Performance, but i recently had a bad experience with them when i bought their intake. What companies and parts do you recommend based on your experience? (front pipe, down pipe, & intercooler)

Looking to find some answers about this back and forth i’ve been having with myself about either going FBO or just boosting my car. Right now I have an acuity cold air intake, and an invidia N1 catback exhaust system with a dyno tune making about 200whp. I’ve been sticking my plan to go completely full bolt-on (RBC manifold, downpipe, and injectors) and maybe even upgrading my fuel system so that I can run e85. Looking into the cost, I realized how much money this runs me and now I’m wondering if boosting my car would make more sense since I’d be spending a lot of money as well to boost my car. I’m essentially making this post to get insight and see the pros and cons to boosting and running FBO and possibly e85. I understand the transmission for this car isn’t the strongest and that was one of my biggest concerns with boosting it. I’m also unsure how much boost I can put into this car without having to build the motor. My target would be around 280 to 350 hp if i decide to boost it. Also is it better to supercharge or turbo the car?

I’ve had my 2012 si for a couple months so far and enjoyed it stock, i recently have been adding some mods and was just wondering what i should do next? i already have an intake a ktuner and i got tein coilovers just haven’t put them on yet. i was thinking a downpipe, acuity shifter, or some more things to make the fitment nice. what do you think

Why can't manufacturers figure out where to put cup holders in stick shift cars? I really enjoy my new Si, but damn, couldn't they have put the controls to the right of the stick and put the cup holders over there, too. Does no engineer test drive one with their big water bottle in there?

Haven’t driven my car for about 21 days and I noticed that when I push down and release my clutch it makes a squeaking sound. My car had no sound issues or anything like that prior to this so I’m wondering what it could be? I got my clutch, slave master, throw out bearing, the whole shebang fixed a few months back so in certain or atleast hoping it’s none of that. I looked it up and maybe it could be dried up grease or rust. I will look more into it in the daylight but just wanted to get any opinions, thank you guys.
And I know my car is dirty. I will clean I promise 🙏

Hello si forum, I’m in the market for a 9th gen civic si. My 03 g35 coupe is getting older and older and want something to daily. I am interested, checked out and negotiated with a local dealer of mine. It’s a 2013 9th gen, 126k miles, 2 owner silver si. They wanted $16475 out the door but I got them to 13.5k out the door. I test drove it twice and everything checks out. No grinds, pops out, hits vtec. 1st owner did routine maintenance according to carfax report. No major gaps in between ownership or missing routine. Dealer recently did breaks, rotors, fluid changes, and clutch. Car does have some goodies which Ik can indicate it got beat on. But I thought it would be worth mentioning. It has an acuity short shifter, acuity carbon intake (the one that goes to the lower fender) a carbon trunk that’s kinda in a bad condition on the top part, and rpf1’s. Checked everything possible on the car. This civic was the best priced, mileage, and clean title in my area marketplace. Just trying to figure out if this is good or not, any 9th gen civic owners to advocate on these vehicles? Thanks!

My brother is asking I sell his 2007 Civic Si and looking for someone with some experience to give me a realistic estimate before I start the process of selling. About 150k mileage.
Mechanically, the car is sound and taken for routine service. Cosmetically, not so great with clear coat gone in some areas with primer exposed. There's no rust on the body although there's a bit on the inner car door hinges. No crashes besides a scrape that was repainted.
Other wear and tear:
-Steering wheel wear from sun
-Sagging headliner near the B-pillars
-Replaced the radio with only 1-2 speakers working
- Seats have a bit of discoloration from the sun
- If it rains a lot, sometimes the bottom tube of the sunroof overflows and drips on the driver carpet
- Faded digital speedometer. Other gauges are visible like car temp and fuel level

civic 2019 SI coupe, I drove it yesterday nothing was wrong, I got in it today and it didn’t register that I was pressing the clutch, so I went to check the safety switch and I unplugged it and it flew apart and the wires were broke, so I twisted the wires together hoping I could at least get to the shop and it didn’t work, any tips on how I can get it started so I can get to the shop without having to tow it?

I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Civic Si for my 18 y/o son and he's wanting to replace the stock radio with a touch screen plug and play radio. He would like have blue tooth connection, navigation and etc.
Do you all have any recommendations?
Thank you in advance!
