I could subject some people to my hyper analyzing of this series, but out of all the artwork that Sabu has made of these two, I think I this one is still in my top 5. Aside from being an automatic fave because of the iconic “yuri pose“, there’s something about the way both of them try to hold back on their feelings for each other in this piece but still reach for one another in some way.

For Yuzu, she holds onto her chest, almost trying to repress the feelings she has for Mei due to her conflict of which role to play in Mei’s life. Yet, when she looks at her, she can’t help but squeeze her chest, almost trying to keep it all from overflowing.

For Mei, she seems reserved, but just like her character in the manga, her actions won’t always match her words. She still follows and clings onto Yuzu, reaching for her face in this art piece. And if you were to cover one side, it also shows how their dynamic is in the earlier parts of the series. Despite Mei saying otherwise, she needs Yuzu more than Yuzu needs her.

Anyway, this is still my favorite piece, right next to the autumn spreads from the manga (opening art from Vol. 9; opening art from Citrus+ Vol. 6).

We just finished volume 7 of Citrus+ and counting the original series, that makes 17 volumes, which isn't bad at all for a Yuri manga, but I'm surprised Sabu hasn't developed another pairing. When Citrus+ started, I thought we'd see more of the supporting characters, which they'd use to develop another couple, which always provides a lot of interesting moments. 🤔🤔🤔 Even seeing Yuzu and Mei enjoying themselves More on their relationship. Where are Sara and Nina? Shirapon? Harumin's sister who's in a relationship with Kayo, etc... What do you think? Do you like where Sabu has taken the Citrus+ story so far?

So yesterday I got a notification saying that there was a new post in the GODDAMMIT MEI group on fb, which is a group created by Chaosteam (the translators). But when I click on the group, it keeps showing an error message so I tried to google the group, but I can't find it. Is this happening to anyone else or just me?

In an attempt to find Vol 10 of Citrus, I bought a half set off of Ebay. What I wasn't aware of is that it was from a older print of Citrus. This print was published under SakuraNeko, which was apparently a sub label used by Seven Seas to publish Yuri.

I just thought it was interesting! I didn't know these pocket sized Citrus's existed!

Now finally my Citrus collection is complete. I still want to find the Seven Sea's version of Citrus 10 at some point, but it's nonexistent so :(

(EDIT: Thanks for SYD4PRJX for pointing out that these are fake reprints! I was wrong about this being a sub label of Seven Seas. Regardless, it's nice to have 10 in a physical copy)

So, apparently there was an additional chapter that was included in the publishing of Vol. 7 rather than be part of Yuri Hime. Based on what I saw, it looks like it was slipped in there as part of Vol. 7 overall since parts of it look a little “unfinished“ but regardless I think this is a good place for this volume to end before moving to Vol. 8.

I’m wondering and anticipating if the opening of Vol. 8 will be similar to the formatting of the end of Citrus (Original) Vol. 9.

Also, random aside, but Mei’s face here looks like that one meme as if Yuzu told her she’s the most jealous woman she knows lol.

So, im on Episode 6 of the anime. I love it! But I hear things are left opened at the end and they probably wont make a season 2. I cant keep going through this lol. First MDUD, then Adachi and Shimamura and now Citus. I need to finish the story! Iv never read any Manga but I know there usually some differences between the show ajd the manga? Should I start at volume 1? Or can I pick up where the show left off?

So I'm trying to get into the manga, I have the whole citrus series but now I'm trying to convert citrus+ for my ereader and I got a bit lost. On the wiki on fandom I saw the last chapter as 39 of the vol 6 but then in Mihon I found 41 of them and also the app AniCue said the last confirmed chapter is 42? If anyone has any source like the wiki where I could just keep track of the new releases i would be greatful <3
