I'm the captain of The Distant Shores Project, and I've decided to use our YouTube channel for walkthroughs for Choices and other visual novels. I've created a Google Drive folder for everyone to drop in their recordings of Choices for me to upload to the channel.

As an avid lover of older Choices books (and as someone who’s been afraid that we’re going to lose these great stories), over the last couple years, I have slowly worked on typing up my playthroughs of the books! I currently have TFS (Zig’s route with some of Chris’s, before Zig came along), ES (Jake’s route), and am currently working on TRR series (Maxwell’s route). I have also used all diamond choices possible during these routes (besides the Las Vegas hookup scene in TRR Book 3. I couldn’t do that to Maxwell 😭).

I currently have them uploaded on Wattpad under ashlyn61, but also have them typed on Google Docs if anyone would be interested in having them that way!

Grateful for this wonderful community that has worked so hard in keeping all of these great stories alive! ☺️

Hi everyone! I've been going through u/Odyssea-the-Seeker 's TRR book 1 transcript (thank you SO MUCH it's been beyond life saving) so I can save my play through. The transcript doesn't include backgrounds and CGs though so I've been replaying book 1 and screenshotting things to add to a google doc.

Anyway, I've just realised all my screenshotting might be useful for other people trying to also save TRR 1! It hasn't got everything just yet (i missed some things while replaying :/ ) but I am updating it almost daily and I've got pretty much most items, outfits, backgrounds and CGs now if anyone is interested.

For those of you who are recording your playthroughs, what resolution are you using? I didn't realize my phone's default was 1080, which seems to be overkill, so would 480 or 720 be ok for viewing?

Look, I truly don't have much time to record a full series at the moment, but I really want to help, so I'll start recording the short stories (up to 8 chapters, maybe?) no one seems to care about 😂.

Please let me know which ones do you want me to prioritize! Diamonds are not a problem as I've already bought most of those choices!

I'll try to keep this one updated as I work on it, but I'm focusing on recordings right now, so I don't have as much time for it.

This is the last of the transcripts I have. I actually never intended to share these with anyone when I was typing them out, I just did them for myself. Hopefully people find them useful!

This is the last book that I have a complete transcript for.

If anyone is interested in the incomplete, bare bones transcript I have for D&D book 2, let me know. I'll keep working on it, but my focus right now is on recording things, so it's on the back burner.

I would like to join this project for my favorite series, the Elementalists. I have not done something like this before so support would be appreciated.

I also have D&D Book 1, and an incomplete Book 2 that I can work on later.

One of my biggest worries - doing all these Playthroughs as I run out of diamonds. I don't want to support PB by buying anything, and obviously I already get the free diamonds and keys daily too, but I'm worried about running out.

A lot of ES I have already spent on, so I should be good.

Ugh, has anyone else come across this issue? I guess no choice but to buy when/if you need it, but it truly sucks!
