Hey guys, I bought a bunch of cards last weekend. Most have been sent and some even arrived. When I wen to confirm arrival I noticed that one seller of an unshipped order (value 15€ so no trustee service) had his name removed and it says „this user account has been blocked by Cardmarket“. Have you ever experienced something like this? It’s a first for me… I guess I won’t get these cards and give to order them again. But do I get my money back or is it just a matter of bad luck and bad timing?

I'm curious how people here determine card prices when buying or selling.

I'm from Europe, so I usually use Cardmarket as my main price reference. For me, the Cardmarket Low price means the lowest Near Mint listing from a professional seller. If there are several newer sellers listing at the same price, I take those into account as well.

Recently, I've been trying to buy cards from local Facebook sellers, and I've noticed that many of them insist that I should add the shipping cost that the card would have on Cardmarket (often €15–20 for international shipping), even though we live in the same city and local shipping would only cost around €2.

I've also had people tell me that if only one professional seller has the lowest price, that listing should be ignored because "it's only one seller," and instead I should use the next higher price.

What do you think? How do you define Cardmarket Low when pricing your cards? Do you use the absolute lowest professional NM listing, an average price, or some other method? I'm interested to hear how other buyers and sellers approach pricing.

I sold a card for 4.500€ and the buyers profile says he is German (same as me)
I already thought it’s weird that I couldn’t see his address and I wrote him a message if I could deliver the card personally. No response.

Now that the order is marked as payed, I can see an address, but on a different name and in Ireland.
Seems very weird to me and I would obviously record the packaging and me bringing it to the post office, but is there something I should worry about (like a hacked CM Account)

A bit over a week ago i ordered a €25ish card from a somewhat new seller (lets call them Seller1). Around 15 sales, but all good reviews. Only shipping option was tracked with trustee, so saw no downside. Figured I could try and help someone get their sales number up.

The week goes by and no shipping confirmation. Card still costs the same, so I cancel and order from someone else (Seller2). Seller2 reaches out shortly after I placed the order, telling me they sold it as part of a package deal to someone else, and hadnt had time to remove it before i placed my order. Fair enough, these things happen and I dont want to spend my time being a dick when I can just order for the same price from someone else. I accept the cancellation. I place an order from another seller (Seller3), and think that'll be the end of it.

Nope! Seller1 sends me a DM telling me they shipped the card the day before and forgot to confirm shipment, and asks me to "uncancel my cancellation" so I can get the card and they get their money. At that point i was tempted to reply with "that sucks. welp, ty for the free card!", but told them I'd already ordered from someone else. I asked them to send me the tracking number so I can maybe refuse the parcel and it'll get returned to them. I have yet to recieve a response, and I'm starting to wonder if this is some kind of weird new scam-strategy.

I've had more trouble ordering this one card than the other 80ish purchases I've made, so if someone eventually lets me buy it from them I might have to frame it.

Going nuts. I've spent the last 2 hours to pick a lot of cards from a seller. My cart is near ready, then I noticed, I can't add anything else, the little add icon grayed out. Went to message the seller, but can't send messages either. A minute later he just emptied my cart.
This is extremely frustrating.
Something has to change in this system.
Give me a chance to defend myself or give a flag to the seller...

I bought some cards but some are not Near Mint and I want to send them back. 3 out of 4 are professionals and I texted them with my request of sending the cards back, attached pictures aswell. Only one agreed and the others ignore me for 4 days. I made a ticket each where I explain my problem. I already packaged the cards in letters and they're ready to go but what about shipping cost and what if they claim the cards didn't arrived when I sent it untracked? I bought them untracked aswell.

I've been using cardmarket as a private seller (and buyer) for over a year now. Around 100 purchases (mostly untracked) and 200 sales (mostly untracked too) with only green reviews. No problems with my sales - a few issues with purchases but they all got resolved.

Last week I bought a few cards (around 17€) from a new seller, with only a few confirmed sales/reviews (from different people and countries, but every order arrived on the same exact day supposedly - a red flag that I did not observe). After completing the payment, I saw that he lives around 10km from my house.

Days are passing by, the letter is not arriving, he is not responding to my messages... but his purchases are increasing every day.

My question is: even if it's untracked, am I the only one who cannot accept such behaviors? Even if I sell a 2 cents card, I have the responsibility to provide a good service to someone who trusted me with his money.

This is the internet, I know, but I can't understand how cardmarket is allowing such individuals to use our money after "faking" the shipment of orders and not even responding to messages...

Unfortunately, I'll not be the only one affected by that scammer I think... but lesson learned for real - no more untracked shipments for me...

Hi all, I have been selling in cardmarket for quite a long time, about 2 years, and this is the first time a situation like this happened to me.

I sent a 500euro card to Belgium , the user is a new account which is only 1 month and half old, with 15 purchases (this information is not that much relevant but have to add it ), today he texted me saying that he did not receive the packet I sent him, however in the tracking there is a signature, which looks pretty fake because is just a "V" , and the word "Binen" which means "Inside" , like if the driver just left the packet inside.

The carrier I used is PostNL , from Netherlands to Belgium , the packet is insured up to 500euro and with signature required, everything as cardmarket requests.

What will happen in this kind of situations? If i open an investigation with postNL , im pretty much sure that they will say that there is evidence of delivery like the signature. What will cardmarket do? Will I end up losing the 500 euros?

I made a purchase on 17.07 and 2 days ago I messaged the seller asking when will he ship my order so I can arrange someone to pick it eup for me cuz Im going on a vacation soon. Seller messaged the same day saying that hes gonna ship tommorow aka on 23.7.

Today he sent me a cancelation request saying that he sold the card and that he doesnt have it..

What am I to do? Its a cheap deal maybe 40€ but he wasted my time for no reason.

Hello. I just received a bad review for the grading of a card (the card was displayed as PL).

I tried a ticket with photo evidence but i just got a "ticket can't withdraw review".

Don't know what else i can do. The review is spicy so it's awkward.

I recently started to play Magic again and ordered some cards (two seperate commander decks through the wizard, one large order of foil avatar lands and one commander deck set). I of course started to sideeye duallands and today was the first time i realised multiple vendors were crossed out with the explanation "maybe that person doesnt deliver to your country or you are on their blacklist".
The thing is i could spot multiple people also from germany?

Could i be blacklisted for some reason because i have unconfirmed orders (2 orders didnt arrive, one is a 0,1 Euro Card the other is like 6€ and never came, was also confirmed nine days after purchase).

Estimados, tengo este problema hace alrededor de un año... realice varias compras sin problemas y un día comenzó a aparecer este cartel al confirmar el pago.

No es el navegador, no son los bloqueadores, no es la tarjeta, no es el banco, no es paypal... Al menos llamé a todos y me dijeron que de su lado no había restricción alguna.

Probé la solución final que algunos dicen que les funcionó... me cree una nueva cuenta de cardmarket y una nueva cuenta de paypal... el resultado es el mismo... me sigue apareciendo el mismo cartel y no logro solucionarlo.

En mi primer cuenta cree ticket en soporte y me blanquearon campos de mi cuenta que podían ser el problema... pero nunca pude volver a pagar un pedido.

En esta cuenta nueva ya cree un ticket y estoy esperando que me respondan.

DATO IMPORTANTE: Yo vivo en Argentina, y el pago lo hago con mi tarjeta internacional para que llegue el paquete a España.

Habrán bloqueado las compras desde aquí? Y si la tarjeta es de este país cardmarket rechaza el pago?

So I bought some sealed lorcana starter decks from a professional seller in the UK (I'm also in the UK). They have messaged me to say it was listed in error and want to cancel but then cardmarket's t's and C's say this:

"Lastly, all professional sellers commit to the fulfillment of the sales contract. We understand that out-of-stock or incorrect orders may occur, but the seller is still legally required to find a satisfactory solution for the buyer. You can always contact customer service if you need help mediating a dispute and finding a satisfactory solution for the buyer."

What are my options in terms of what can happen? Cos ideally I just want the order fulfilled. The seller has offered a refund but I want the product. I've got in touch with support but just waiting for their response right now. Was wondering if I have any other options besides accepting a refund? Thanks

I ordered vampiric tutor v.3 from mystical archive from the seller that graded it as a NM for 500€. Seller had perfect reviews with 1k sale history but when the card arrived I spotted a minor dent in it that I think degrades it far below NM due to card structure being damaged. Seller doesn’t agree with me saying that it is still NM and he doesn’t want to give me partial refund for it. How do I proceed with full order return and full refund through support (I still haven’t accepted the arrival)

Like many of you, I use postcards to protect cards in my Cardmarket shipments. Instead of plain postcards, I was wondering if any TCG shops or accessory brands would be interested in providing branded postcards for free.

They'd basically get their advertisement into every shipment.

Has anyone done something like this before?

Do you think stores or brands would be interested, or is this unrealistic?

I'd be interested to hear your experiences or suggestions.

I've sold a valueable card (2000€) on cardmarket and the shipping method is "Courier Parcel with Full Insurance" but most couriers only have insurance up to about 500€ for a parcel from Austria to Germany.

Does anyone have any suggestion or advice how to ship the order?

After beeing rejected by the Austrian Post I went to a DHL Shop and there I could send the order with full Insurance without a problem.

I bought like a 3€ card and paid another 2€ for shipment, the seller told me he shipped it but after 1 month nothing arrived. He says no refund is needed.

So do i just lose my 5€ ? How can people use card market to buy when the buyer bears all risk of package lost or even just seller not sending ? I can't even give a negative review

Recently i started selling my Pokémon cards on cardmarket. I put up around 150 cards between 30 cents and 100 euro. On the same day that i posted everything someone ''bought'' about 120 cards but didnt pay them yet. They are now sitting there in limbo somewhere between him and me and now other people cannot see them anymore. The person did not pay yet and it says i have to wait 7 days before i can remove them. I tried messaging the person but no response. What is going on here? Am i to just wait for this person to decide on his timetable when he feels like buying or cancelling? And in the meanwhile have almost no cards for sale anymore? Im so confused that this is a thing. Any advice would be welcome.

Hey! Due to scam I returned cards to the seller. He just mention in the message he recived package yet I did not recive refund nor closed order. Shuld the seller approve/click something on CM Or I need to open another ticket?

I have my bank card saved to my PayPal account; I tried using PayPal to fund my Cardmarket account and pay for my order, but it hasn't worked after several attempts. My banking details are correct, and I’ve authorized the payment with my bank. However, back on Cardmarket, it says there was a problem and asks me to try again. Do you have any idea what the issue might be?

Hello there,after two years I came back to the Cardmarket to keep selling cards since I started again to open OP TCG booster boxes.

I sent two insured parcels, one to France,one to Belgium.

They both claim they didn't receive it while the tracking number says it is delivered. One is a professional seller(store). I already spoke with both of them. They claim that so they won't accept payment,so I have sent CM support,as they did too. Still I haven't got any response,but I read some posts here. I went to my postal office to ask for a confirmation of delivery & stamp to be official (in advance) and they told me it is prohibited. The only thing I can do is to ask for an investigation with the CN08 paper. When I went to fill it there wasn't any option such as "proof of delivery", to the cause of the paper. So if I click that isn't delivered that will affect my parcel's status? Is it like I confirm that it is not delivered and I ask for proof?

Also what else should I do in advance to save time and in the end to get my money or at least find a solution?if I had my card returned to me I wouldn't mind,but the buyer claimed that both are probably stolen.. so I will get damaged. Both parcels values are around 5000 in total. What can I do?

Yesterday I went to post to European orders with RM, I added the IOSS number or whatever it's called that CM provide yet it still wanted to charge an additional £3.50 in fees making it double what CM was paying me for the postage cost.. Anything I can do here? No response of CM support as of yet
