I love capybaras so much! I have a collection of over 15 capybara stuffed animals, capybara posters, a capybara night light, capybara stickers, a capybara pencil case, and capybara stationary. I love how chill they are, and aspire to be like one. I have visited capybara cafes 3 times. It makes me sad how even though capybaras are "trendy" now, theres still no variation with stuff sold/made. Theres the same 3 plushies sold, and the same 4 facts circulating. I need to know more about them, preferably from a book or podcast. If yall have any recommendations for capybara media, PLEASE let me know.

Capys dont care about the big snacky birbs.

I visited Montreal over this weekend and I got to see these guys at the Montreal Biodôme. There were 3 of them just chilling and sleeping. There were also ducks and a small tortoise in the same enclosure. So happy I was finally able to see them in person.

I missed the patch notes when they were added. I went my entire life and never saw a single capybara or heard about them in any way, then suddenly around 2020 I heard about them the first time and haven’t stopped seeing them or hearing about them since! So I’m guessing the update that added them was around 2020 or so?

Thinking about getting some capybaras at some point. Obviously I will do research before doing so but one thing i cant find a clear answer on during my research. Would 4 capybaras overgraze a 1 acre pasture or should i go bigger than that when I get some?

I've been wondering for quite a few days now, months ago it used to be a trend. Did it just suddenly blow up for no reason? Here in the UK, there's a zoo nearby (Noah's Ark Zoo Farm) which has one and I've recently been there and saw them. They're so cute.
