Classes/Professors class changes

im a freshman so i know my schedule is chosen for me however i dont wanna do euro us art history id rather do a diff class for my ge3. can i do this if so when

yes you can switch classes from your block schedule on august 11. watch out though, a lot of ge's are already full or will fill up soon, and be sure it fulfills the correct requirements. good luck

Yes. And don’t eff it up and end up dropping one class and being low in the waitlist for a new class.

Incoming freshman can change their blocked schedule on:

-Aug 11-13 (up to 18 units)

-Aug 15 (up to 20 units)

Use the swap feature; do not drop the class.

I want to make a change as well, but realized it's not even worth looking for other classes until 8/5 when all the schedules are finalized. I found some alternatives on Friday that were open and are already full now. A lot of people are just now starting to get scheduled in classes apparently.

Don’t drop the class you’re in until you secure the replacement either by setting up as a swap or if the times don’t conflict, add the new one first before dropping the old one.
