Hi everyone I’m looking to take over someone’s lease at either the Wexler or Crossings. My only requirement is a private room/bathroom in a female apartment and my budget is pretty flexible.

Passed EMT class ! But failed first attempt at NREMT and I’m looking for a tutor to help me over the course of next 2-3 weeks max. Can anybody point me in right direction?

Is anyone else having trouble getting through to financial aid? My Fall 2026 loans haven't been posted yet, and I've completed everything necessary on Fasfa. My grants, however, were posted. I've been trying day after day to get a hold of someone in the financial aid office, but I keep being put on hold for hours no matter what time I call. Is there no one in the office? Anyone know if the loans will be posted soon?

First term summer ended a couple weeks ago and one of my grades still hasnt posted yet. I messaged the prof but no response. Is this normal?

Hi everyone,
I was originally waitlisted at over #280 for North Village, so I didn’t think I’d get a spot. Because of that, I signed a lease with Hornet Commons so I wouldn’t be left without housing.
Now I’ve moved up significantly on the waitlist, and I’m wondering what happens if I receive a housing offer from North Village.
When I first asked Hornet Commons about canceling my lease, they told me I would need to find someone to take over my lease. Later, I emailed them asking what would happen if I got into North Village while I was still on the waitlist. They replied saying that University Housing Services would contact them regarding my housing status and complete the necessary processes so I could continue with my North Village housing.
So now I’m confused.
If I get into North Village, will I still have to find someone to take over my Hornet Commons lease, or will they release me from my lease since I’d be moving into university housing?
Has anyone been in this situation before? I’d really appreciate hearing how it worked for you because I’m really freaking out

Hi I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at the hornet commons. It’s an all male unit and is a short walk from campus. The apartment is a 4x2 so you will have a private bedroom and shared bathroom. Utilities are included and base rent is $1,330, with move in day being August 26th. Im willing to cover the first month and a half’s rent plus any early move in fees if you want move in prior to the 26th of August. If you have any questions about the apartment or the other three people living there then feel free to reach out.

I’m planning out my schedule and want to make sure I choose classes I can manage successfully. I was wondering how difficult or time-consuming these classes are. What was the workload like, and were there a lot of exams, essays, projects, or homework? Also, if you have any professor recommendations, please let me know!

hi all! i have a negative balance on my account from dropping 1 course within the first couple of days of the first 8 week summer session. i made a mistake in assuming that the negative balance would just come back to me like a financial aid refund, and got worried. i filled out a refund request form last month and never heard anything back, nor did my account get updated to show a $0 balance. is there anything else i can do and is it too late? and i’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

So I’m transferring to sac state in the fall ( yay ) and i got assigned in a 2x2 suite but it hasn’t shown me my roommates yet ? Should I wait to see if i get assigned or email housing just incase

I’ve been living at wexler for almost around 2 years now and this past year I’ve noticed an increase in the homelessness issue outside of wexler and around the area as well. There have been multiple times where I have seen homeless people inside the complex that you need a phone app to even get access too. Just recently i saw a homeless man peeing on the main entrance door to the lobby, as well have seen multiple people using torches and foil right outside the building. I know this may be something they can’t control but for the price they are charging for rent?! They advertise themselves as luxury apartment but have been far from it. There have been multiple times where myself and my roomates have been harassed walking outside the complex or just across the street to grocery outlet. I’ve also seen it pretty bad at the crossings recently as well. Has anyone else noticed this issue? And what has caused the increase? Will this be something that gets fixed?

I’m heading into my senior year with no relevant work experience whatsoever for when I graduate, I’ve started looking since May this year and haven’t found anything I keep applying and nothing is coming of it, I’ve applied to atleast 50 places and just need some direction, I just need to get my foot in the door, I don’t know if it’s just that summer time is a dead period for internships or what. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Outside of school, I also create content on YouTube! 🎮 I mostly make gaming videos, but recently I've started doing reactions to TV shows and series, and it's been so much fun this year. 💖

Is there anyone know why the Provisional Middle Class State Grant do not show on disbursement schedule and on the total of financial aid refund?

I'm thinking about getting a head start on elevating my career, and several friends pointed me in this direction. I believe the application process opens on 8/1. Looking for any and all info people have to offer; the difficulties of the program, what you got out of it, and the time commitment you put in, stuff like that.

I’m tryna finish my schedule and was tryna see if anyone could help me choose between Larry lands and jing pang. I tried rmf but couldn’t find details on both of them so was tryna see if anyone could let me know their experience with these professors.

Both of my summer courses started this week and I got the disbursement of my summer pell grant but I also took out a loan to pay for the rest. I don’t know why but for some reason I’ve only gotten the grant and not the loan. I was just wondering if this is normal? or if it looks like there might be another reason why my loan hasn’t disbursed?
