Eoghan Cormican reporting in the Irish Examiner that the second leg of the play-off semi-final against Kazakhstan will be played in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday 13 October, subject to approval from Croke Park.
To be put before the GAA Central Council at the next meeting at the start of August, but Cork GAA chairman Pat Horgan appears confident of approval.

The Times reporting that Denise O'Sullivan is set to head back to the NWSL after just 6 months in Liverpool. (subscription required)
I don't have a Times subscription so can't read the article, but being published just this evening it'll probably be in tomorrow's print edition Sunday Times.
Soccerdonna have re-posted it on Instagram indicating Gotham FC to be the frontrunners.
EDIT: Bought the Sunday Times today to read the full article. Key points related to the potential transfer:

Anyone been watching this kid recently? As a Shels fan, I get emotional seeing this kid everytime she scores. Her goals are absolute class and her interviews are even better! 😂😂

Where do you think she'll end up? I'd like to see her hit the ground running in a top league as she has already shown she can be prolific.

Is anyone organising a group to go to Brazil next year??
r/COYGIG • u/WingsNSausages • Jun 18 '26
We have drawn Kazakhstan in the first round of the World Cup qualifiers.
Away in the first leg, whole round taking place over the week of 7-13 October.
Should we beat them, we will play the winner of Belgium v Poland in the second round in the fortnight of 26 November-5 December. Second leg at home again should we be there.

French fan here. I just wanted to be fair and say that I have absolutely no doubt that the Girls in Green will qualify for the World Cup. The French coach and players were unanimous in saying that their matches against Ireland were the toughest they have faced in recent years, and that’s despite playing teams like Germany, England, and the Netherlands..etc
Ireland showed incredible quality, determination, and resilience. I have absolutely no doubt that the Girls in Green will be in Brazil next year, proudly representing the beautiful country that is Ireland. 🇮🇪⚽

If my reading of this is right then we should be fine in the first round but some of those path 2 sides are difficult although only Belgium and Portugal are ranked ahead of us.

Great goal. Unfortunate that the outcome didn't favor us, but we press on
