I'm not sure of the others but when I do some casper practice questions online, sometimes I encounter questions with too many vocabularies that I don't understand. Often times, I am able to determine their meaning by using the other words that I know but sometimes there's just too much that it prevents me from understanding the whole question, especially with the time constrain, but I don't think I'm so terrible in English because I was able to get a band 8 in IELTS. Is it just me? Does the actual Casper questions use these kind of difficult words or is it just these websites?

Honestly super weird and not an ad, but one of the scenarios I practiced on StudyCasper was on the actual test like word for word. Is this just because they reuse questions? or like maybe a massive coincidence idk lol

That went horribly 😭 I feel so awful right now. Some of the text scenarios were okay, but overall the exam felt nothing like the prep resources I used. The questions were much more personal than I expected or praciticed. Did anyone else feel completely thrown off by how different the real CASPer was compared to practice?

I found it so bad personally 🫩 I studied for so long for scenario questions and all they had were vague personal questions.… I couldn’t even come up with a concrete action

I scored Q1 in my first attempt at casper, was aiming for murdoch uni in veterinary medicine field… since it was the least possible score I had to change my preference to a different uni (usyd)…

Didn’t realize it until today when I was trying to register for casper for usyd that u only take it once

So, I just got my June 21 sitting result, and I scored Q4.

I don't remember much from my CASPer sitting, but I do remember finishing it and thinking this was the most stressful and horrendous SJT I have ever done. The only prep I did was the two days before the test, and it was just watching youtube videos in between my tik tok doomscroll sessions. The highest I thought I would score was a Q3.

Please do not take this as a flex but this should give comfort to some because what even is this test LOLLLL???? Has anyone else found themselves in a similar boat?

For context I took the Casper last year (Canadian one) and scored Q3. I think one of my biggest issues is that my typing is quite slow (~50 wpm). I’m wondering if anyone has had success in answering the written questions in point form. On the website it says this is allowed but I was just wondering other peoples opinions on this.

BeMo's Ultimate Guide to CASPer Test Prep VS MedCoach's Acing The CASPer Test

I will be doing the test in french, so maybe the MedCoach book might be better since it has a french version (the BeMo is only in english, unfortunately)? Also are these books good for the 2026-2027 admission cycle? I know that the MedCoach one says 2025-2026 on it so I was wondering if that's OK.

Here's a CASPer scenario focused on Fairness, with two Judgment questions. Q1 asks you to take a position. Q2 introduces a new piece of information that makes that position harder to hold and creates further tension.

These follow on 'tension' questions are quite common in this year's CASPer test so they are worth practicing.

Scenario: The Last Hamper

You volunteer at a community food bank with a strict waitlist system. People sign up in advance and hampers are distributed in order. You're working the desk when a regular client arrives to collect their hamper. Right behind them, a woman arrives who isn't on the list. She explains she just arrived in the city, has two young children with her, and hasn't eaten since yesterday. There's one hamper left and it belongs to the regular client, who is standing right there and heard everything.

Q1 (Judgment): When resources are limited, do you think it is ever acceptable to prioritize need over order? Why or why not?

Q2 (Judgment): Assume that the regular client on the waitlist is also a single parent who has been relying on this hamper for the past three months. How, if at all, would this change your response to the previous question? Explain your reasoning.

Q1 response:

This is difficult because waitlist rules exist to protect people, but they can also produce clearly unfair outcomes in specific cases.

These systems make sense. They prevent favoritism and set clear expectations. But they're designed around a typical range of need, not around a mother with two young children who hasn't eaten since yesterday. When following the rule produces an outcome most people would recognize as wrong, the rule wasn't built for this situation.

I think need can justify priority, but only when the urgency gap is significant and the situation is immediate and visible. That isn't abandoning the system. The purpose of a waitlist is fairness. When strict order produces the opposite, judgment matters.

Q2 response:

This changes my thinking, though not my conclusion entirely.

I can no longer frame this as urgent need versus process. Both people have real need. The new arrival's is immediate and acute. The regular client's is ongoing and they were counting on this.

That actually makes the case for exceptions harder, not easier. If I redirect the hamper, I'm not choosing between a rule and a person. I'm choosing between two people in genuine need, and the regular client loses out through no fault of their own.

I'd still try to find another way to support the new arrival. But I wouldn't override the waitlist on my own. This is a decision that needs someone with more authority than me so I would escalate to a supervisor.

What makes these work:

Q1 takes a clear position but earns it. It acknowledges why the rule exists before explaining why it falls short here. The conclusion ties back to the system's purpose rather than just dismissing it.

Q2 doesn't abandon Q1, but it genuinely grapples with the new information. The key move is recognizing that this is now two people in need versus each other, not need versus bureaucracy. That shift is what the question is testing.

Something shifted this year in the CASPer test that you may not be aware of. Previously, your two responses within a scenario were scored together as a single unit. Now each question gets its own score. That sounds like a small change, but it has an important impact on how you should manage your time.

Before, evaluators gave one combined mark per scenario, which meant a strong Q1 could cushion a weaker Q2. Now each question is scored independently. There's no averaging out, so both responses need to hold up on their own.

A few things worth keeping in mind:

For typed responses: You get 3 minutes 30 seconds total across both questions. As you near 1 minute 45 seconds, think about moving to Q2. You don't need to finish Q1 perfectly. A solid Q1 and a decent Q2 will always score better than a polished Q1 and a blank Q2. If you finish Q2 early, you can scroll back up and add to Q1. Remember that spelling and grammar don't matter, as long as your meaning is clear.

For video responses: Each response gets one minute only - that time goes by quickly, so it's worth practising to avoid freezing or blanking.

What to avoid:

• Using most of your time building a long, detailed Q1
• Leaving Q2 blank. A partial answer still gives the rater something to score. A blank gives them nothing.

The fix is straightforward: practice before test day.

So I got an invite to do the online assessment however I am not able to get feedback for the practice quizzes (particular concern of mine is the video bit and the logic bit).
