I’ve been brainstorming a side hustle and want your brutally honest opinions before I drop any money on inventory. I’m thinking of starting a board and card game rental business here in Cebu City. Does it have a potential? If ever, would you rent? Let me know your thoughts!

Context: I have been working in our family business for 6 years now. Most of my staff are almost the same age as me (mid to late 20s).
I find it so difficult to balance between being an approachable and strict boss. I know that how you approach employees really depends on a case to case basis. Just wondering how you all deal with this dilemma.

hi everyone! I’m building a web app called Vendi’s Booth and wanted to get some honest feedback.
The idea is simple:
- Choose from exclusive artist-designed photo strips styles (new collections every month)
- Take or upload photos
- Get a photobooth strip like you’d get from a real booth
- Download it digitally or order printed strips delivered to your door
There will be a free plan and a ₱99/month subscription for exclusive designs and unlimited saved strips.
Do you think something like this has a market? Would you use it or pay for it? Why or why not? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Hello guys, please enlighten me regarding sa laundry business. Operation and sales.
May additional around 60k para sa plumbing and other consumables. Baka may insights kayo sa ganitong business.

DTI has launched the Youth Enterprise Fund, a ₱1-billion financing program offering Filipinos aged 18 to 30 collateral-free loans of up to ₱500,000, with a one-year grace period and up to three years to repay. Applications open July 27 through SB Corp.'s app and website. If you've got a business idea but no collateral, this could be your entry point.

I, a 23 year-old lady, want to start a clothing business – women's clothing line. Tops, skirts and dresses. But gusto ko muna mag-start sa tops. Worth it ba? Realtalk pls.
I'm still planning, i have so many ideas pero test the waters muna here. Online selling lang din as usual, tiktok, shopee, fb ganern.
Go na ba? Paglaanan ko na ba ng oras? Or too saturated na ang clothing business? Thank you! 🥰

Hi everyone! I’ve been seeing a lot of ads about this receipt Photobooth. Compared to traditional more common photobooth, this one’s much smaller, user-friendly (almost self-service), and more portable.
I’d like to ask for your two cents (or kahit one lang kung short kayo chz haha) on this or if there some people in this sub who owns one or similar to this, I’d love to hear your experiences sana.
TBH, I just purchased a secondhand receipt photobootn worth 25k which includes everything I need to operate it naman any time. I’m plannin to bring and introduce it sa place namin sa province wherein I’m sure wala pang ganito dun. Just a background about the existing conditions:
• Target location: Developing municipality in the northern province
• Lots of cafes popping up recently (this year alone, may 3 na)
• I’m friends with some people in the food (catering) supplier industry and event coordinators.
• CONS: I’m not always at home kasi I now live in the city but I’m willing to adjust naman since online ang work. AT SUPER SHY AKO IN PERSON pero I can be chummy chummy too but I can’t ever be plastic. Ako yung tipong may subtitle yung mukha kapag ayaw yung kausap huhu I know this needs to be improved if want kong mag-establish ng good relationships with business pips.
Anywayyy I’m looking forward po to your comments and pieces of advice. Thank you! 🙏

And surprisingly bumenta syaaa.
Thank you so much and God bless.
PS.
