Bit about myself, I'm 32m and have been a casual listener of EDM for the longest time, only recently got more into it when I met my new friend. Went to my first event (was a small one) a few weeks back and absolutely fell in love with the vibe. Now looking to go to more events!

My knowledge of EDM is still rather shallow but I enjoy dnb and house the most, usually the more melodic or upbeat stuff :). The more chill stuff like trance can be hit and miss for me.

My personal experience with everyone has been nothing but pleasant and friendly. However I can't ignore people losing intrest fast when I have stutters, stammers and pauses in my talk.

I’m an introverted, South Asian, vegetarian, and have been making an effort to get out more through Meetup groups, badminton, fitness activities and other social events. I’ve actually made some good friends, which has been great.

But somehow, everywhere I go, I just end up meeting more single guys who are also wondering where all the single women are 😂

I’m not really the type to walk up to strangers in a loud bar, and dating apps haven’t been much help either.

I have a 16 month old cattle dog x that is a little shy but a friendly goofball when he comes out of his shell. He gets along with almost all dogs, loves playing chasey and bitey face. Most of the time when we go to dog parks he will watch the others play, and sometimes awkwardly try to join in. When he finds a dog he knows and gets on well with and they play together it's great, but that hasnt happened for a while now. People move away and I don't keep in touch with the owners and stuff.

A bit immature i guess, I pretty much spend my time these days between work, hanging out with my dog, gaming and sleeping. But it works for me, I dont like a stressful life, just taking it day by day 🙂

Also into motorbikes, horses, animals in general, taxidermy, tattoos, weird facts and dumb memes.

I reckon it's great to sit on the grass in a dog park and relax after work while your dog gets some exercise, but it would be nice to not do it alone sometimes. I'm not usually a bit talker, so we can just chill and watch the doggos if you want, I'll bring the coffee 😊

Hi, I've made a few posts here in the past year, but nothing has worked. Most of my posts got no replies or only 1-2 people who all ghosted me on the first day.

Does anyone here know a good way to meet new people? Is it still possible to make friends today? In my case, it's even harder when I say that I'm "M25" and a foreigner. I've been living here for two years, with no friends, no family, nothing. I have many "unalive" thoughts everytime, I've tried Lifeline and all sorts of different things, but most of the time I end up with no help at all.

I'm more to the gamer/geek side so I love gaming, music, and finding out about new places with nice views, or just a simple chat with someone. I love to know more about different cultures, try different kinds of food, etc.

Yes, I know, this one might sound a bit weird. I'm 27M and I moved to Brisbane last November, and while I've made a few friends I haven't really made a friend who I can hang out with regularly and talk to on the daily. I've got close friends back in my home country, and in Melbourne where I was before, but nobody here and while I first thought that I'd be fine, I'm starting to realise I think I'd love to have someone I can hang out with and call a close friend here in Brissy.

I'm also an avid anime fan (One Piece is the GOAT). I play futsal over the weekend which is basically my only form of exercise. I love staying at home so you're not gonna see me suddenly wanting to hang out (I like at least 3 days notice most of the time). I do love going for a drink, not much of a smoker but I wouldn't hold you back from doing it for sure.
