As of 2:13 PM (I don't know the exact time it was posted):

The City of Brandon has been advised of a known issue affecting 911 service. This issue is not related to the Brandon Public-Safety Communications Centre, and our service provider is currently working to resolve it.

If you are in Brandon and require emergency assistance, please call the following numbers directly:

  • Fire: 204-729-2400
  • Police: 204-729-2345
  • Ambulance: 204-625-2111

As the Brandon Public-Safety Communications Centre provides 911 service to communities across Manitoba outside of Winnipeg, residents in other municipalities are encouraged to locate and use their local emergency numbers through their local phone directory or online resources until the issue is resolved.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

At 6:21 PM I noticed the City's post has been updated with the below:

Update: Our service provider has successfully restored 911 service. Both wireless and landline calls to 911 are now operating normally. If you require emergency assistance, please call 911. Thank you for your patience as this issue was resolved.

exactly what it says in the title. I'm a 24 year old with a cat and I'm looking for someone to split rent in a 2 bed apartment. I don't mind drinking/smoking (I smoke weed occasionally) and am looking for someone queer-friendly. I'm looking at a budget of ~$800 each. cat is sweet and friendly, quite shy really. her name is baby. dm me if interested.
