For me, I think if he soundly beats Bam (preferably knockout but a 12 round masterclass would also suffice), then moves up and beats Espinoza, I’d crown him definitively the best of his era, better than Usyk and Crawford 100%.

And if he somehow becomes 3x undisputed, beating each of the featherweight champs one by one, it’d be hard to make an argument against him at all.

There are amazing technicians in boxing, people that can touch their opponent whenever they want, while great I never hear one being mentioned amongst the greats unless they have that second gear or have shown they can win a dog fight. Is that because they lack the aggression or because it just doesn’t bring in the viewers?

Like I understand brawlers, while fun to watch for the average fan, purists always put them even lower on all time lists but then comes pure boxers and finally near the top on most analysts are boxers with power and aggression… the boxer/puncher

Is this more us being fans of the violence of the sport or do you need that X factor, that “I’m not leaving anything to chance” attitude along to go with the skills?

Is it still possible to become the GOAT in boxing? Like with the way modern sanctioning bodies are setup so that fighters fight only about every 6 months, it seems that with that level of inactivity a fighter will never be able to reach the heights of people who fought as frequently as Ali or Robinson. Ussyk who is arguably the greatest fighter of this generation is retiring with only 26 fights. So it just seems like an insurmountable task now. What do you think?
