First of all I just wanna say that Boruto is lowkey a top 5 written character in the Naruto franchise (might be recency bias but I dont think hes lower than ten atleast)
This is gonna be alot like my first post of just me rambling about my thoughts on the objectively well written series
Im glad that Mitsuki is actually getting scenes now, goodjob snake boy with ur nonbinary parent. Himawari is actually really interesting can't wait to see what happens with her and Kurama. Sarada and her Mangyekou Sharigan are pretty interesting and I can't wait to see where that goes.
What im most surprised about is Shikamaru and Inonjin. I did not expect that they would give Inonjin that much importance (Most of the Konoha 13 could never bruh) I like the fact that Shikamaru knows Naruto is still alive and he's just keeping the seat warm, Shikagoat.
Boruto genuinely a top tier aura farmer bruh. Thats my chalant, aura farming, 6 foot tall, bagging Sarada AND Sumire, STRONGER THAN FRAUDWAKI GOAT. Speaking of Kawaki, he is genuinely a fraud. He didnt train in the three years, all of his powers come from Amada going "ahhh yes heres more of ur power, Kawaki!" HE IS A FRAUDDDD HE WISHES HE WAS AS ICY AS MY GOAT *UZUMAKI* BORUTO.
Now the Divine Trees, THEY ARE HONESTLY REALLY INTERESTING!!! All of them just want to learn more about themselves and most importantly about love, clearly the main theme of part 2 (might have been the main theme of part one but im not a smart analysis man I wouldnt know) I love the fact that Jura just wants to learn more about human life, he is very compelling and I might argue more interesting than most of the Kara of part 1. Now with Hidari its clear that he's gonna get alot more development we shall see more of him but I am very excited for the inevitable fight between him and Boruto and Sarada. Matsuri and Ryu were short lived but interesting enough they both seemed really genuine, especially Ryu, dudes funny as hell. Mamushi is a creepy ass weirdo that should die so im glad he did!
Twin Blue Vortex is really good, better than part one and I cannot wait to see where it goes and follow it week to week!
Codes also a bum
Kawaki is a bigger bum
PS I think Boruto and Kawaki die at the end of the entire series btw

Lowkey never watched boruto I dabbled in a little bit of Naruto back in the day so I decided to pick it up just for the fun of it
Amado & Kojis conversation about Kawaki left me thinking..
Amado asked Koji if Kawaki would ever end up actually reviving his daughter & Koji says “not even once” the subtext basically means in no reality that Kawaki ends up dead/alive does Akebi get revived.
If there’s no reality where he revives Akebi then what reason does Amado have to keep aiding him.
Wouldn’t his best interest be in assisting Boruto to see if Boruto would be able to revive Akebi (just speculating)

So, when we all first watched Naruto, no one expected aliens to become part of the series. Yet here we are with the Otsutsuki.
That got me wondering: should Ikemoto introduce more humanoid species into the series? Personally, I'd like to see the Otsutsuki use these species as vessels for Karma resurrection. I also think expanding their lore and adding more world-building would be a great touch.
I've even come up with a few names for these humanoid species: Voidborns, Asterans, and Khorans.

in the recent chapter, amado acted sad when he found out akebi wasn't revived in any of the futures koji saw, right? well that's exactly what he wanted. the moment he realised koji has the ability to see all possible futures, he realized he could be in danger as koji would then know his true goals. so he decided to abduct koji and find out just how much he knows about his motives. but instead of doing so directly, he asked him if akebi was ever revived in any of the futures. if she was, koji would be aware of his motives. but if she wasn't, koji would have no idea what he's upto. and that's exactly what he was counting on. and in order to make sure he never finds out, he altered his "brain waves" as he stated, making sure koji wouldn't be able to see any future involving amado or akebi, also likely tampering with his memories regarding himself and akebi. but just so koji wouldn't get too suspicious, he also "enhanced" his ability, or atleast made it seem so. this guy is a genius.

think about it guys. the very first time shikamaru asked edia to check the past to see if amado's motives regarding "his daughter" were true, she very vaguely brushed it off saying akebi did exist and she died, without stating the details that would explain the truth behind amado's motives. plus, in the same chapter, both kawaki and momoshiki doubt amado's words. and now again, when koji asked her to check what amado did to him, he suddenly gets an update and the enquiry is forgotten? i really suspect amado and eida are working in cooperation, or atleast that amado has placed certain type of limiters on eida that lets him control her in a way that doesn't reveal his true intentions.

I'm biased. No one will ever top Boruto's entrance scene at the beginning of TBV...except Boruto himself...maybe...later. 😂
What's your choice?

This specific dialogue makes me wonder what Amado truly means by "putting his own mind at ease".
Can it be that he needs to ensure certain events happen and prescience will guarantee it?
Naturally, you would think he wants to aid in a fight with Shinju, as he framed it himself, he "wanted to do something helpful".
Are we okay with Amado simply knowing that messing with Koji's brain will decrease the cooldown of a shinjutsu? Without any trial and error, he is just that smart. Do you think his intelligence is enough to wave this interaction off? At some point, Amado said that even if he lost his memory and did not recognize his work, he would be able to detect it because the way he manufactures his craft leaves certain signature. It's like an artist recognizing their own craft just by looking at it. Is it perhaps something along those lines?
He had just learnt that Koji has prescience and obviously was clearly intrigued enough to make a move.
Slightly after this specific dialogue, Amado asks Koji whether he has ever seen Kawaki put Karma on his daughter and we see this

This could simply be a visualisation of that event occurring. Not a memory, or an actual future event. But, when Koji responds and claims that he had never seen that come to pass - it makes me wonder.
Technically, if Koji did in fact see Kawaki putting Karma on Akebi, relaying that information to Amado would make him a singularity of fate. So, it is better to either not say anything, or simply lie.
Koji seems to come off a little defensive too because he overexplains and mentions that data fetched from Ten-Directions is stored in his memories, almost as if that is a factor that guarantees him being genuine. Sure, we can argue that this little detail is simply Ikemoto speaking to the readers through Koji, rather than Koji panicking - I suppose that is a fair point too.
Either way, I believe Koji lied and he did in fact see Akebi being resurrected.
I am really excited for the future, seems like Koji and Amado will now both have access to prescience. We have entered a stage of their ultimate chess match where Kawaki and Boruto are their pawns fighting for "the best possibile future". I can already imagine them getting a vision and plotting against each other. What could go wrong?
Also, the definition of the best future likely differs for many.
a. For Amado it's Akebi's resurrection
b. For Kawaki it's Naruto's safety
c. For Boruto it is Uzumaki family coming back, and I suppose safety of the shinobi world.
One more thing, the Karma that Kawaki is supposed to implant in Akebi is suspicious to me. Why is Amado so certain that this is going to work? From the way he phrased it, he seems to put all his faith into it, which indicates he is not entirely sure, but this is basically the only thing he can do.
How can he know about all of this? Can we assume that he acquired this knowledge while working alongside Jigen?
In my opinion, Amado had been deceived. Basically, his love for Akebi was used against him to execute a certain plan. What is it? We're about to find out...

This past chapter, 90% of pages looked like the ones above.
-Someone’s face
-A zoom in of someone’s face (their eyes)
-Someone else’s face
-The side of their face
I understand these panels are all dialogue but still… It’s been this way the whole manga. NNG included (although there was a bit more complexity there).
To clarify, I don’t mind extensive dialogue. But when every panel seems to be necessary to zoom in on the side of someone’s head?
Overall, every page ends up feeling like a predicable cycle in a sense where I would most certainly skim through the illustrations quickly if there wasn’t dialogue to accompany it.

At the very least, the interrogation team should go through all his items and computers.
Not just leave this guy sit in his lab all day, untouched.
Then you have Eida... why not ask her to see what has happened?
That's a bit of a plothole....
As we know, Boruto can use small metal pieces (pins, shuriken, his sword) to teleport in the same location of that metal piece using a jutsu similar to his grandad's FTG.
I've already made a post like this but I didn't receive a real answer and the recent events in ch 35 and 36 make me more doubtful.
old post https://www.reddit.com/r/Boruto/comments/1ts0dbg/borutos_pin/
from the beginning.
Boruto put a frog with a pin (leaf villege symbol) on Code in ch 3 after he hit the enemy with a rasengan. Code escaped and Boruto teleported to the pin and reached Code. Shinjus appeared and Boruto escaped (probably bringing back that specific pin because is the same pin he gave to Kawaki in ch 24, but Boruto might possess more pins of the same shape).
Later, after bug's clone death, Boruto in ch 34 teleported to Code's place using a pin (circle and cross shape). How did that new pin end up there? in ch 35 Boruto asks Sarada to be kidnapped to bring pins to Code place. But in ch 34 he teleported out of nowhere and he clearly borught back that pin (circle and cross shape) otherwise he wouldn't have asked Sarada to be a lure.
Maybe I missed something reading TBV and thank you in advance for answering my questions.

The first time Code threatened her, he got stomped right on his face and was used as a welcome mat after 3 years by our goat.
But now, Code gor his first W after soo much people kicking his ass..by KIDNAPPING Sarada, for which Boruto is a main reason for proposing such a bad plan.
Now that he has the guilt, how far would he go to save her ?? Not to forget the promise he made to sasuke (which complicates this arc even further) and the assurance he gave to her.
Where the f are these characters in the Boruto manga?: Orochimaru, kakashi sensei, rock lee, might guy

so wouldn't it have been possible for sasuke before he lost his rinnegan to just sneak up on it [the 10 tails hidden in the other dimension] & seal it in his body like obito, madara, hagoromo?
plus he had the rinnegan too, perhaps like hagoromo he could've have made new bijuu out of him
any since jyubi/10 tails is supposed to be a mass of nature energy & nature energy hits it best apart from taijutsu, shouldn't the new cast have a sage, sure mitsuki is ok but like kinda weak no? we'd need something of hashirama or naruto's grade i think
what do you think

Do you reckon kawaki will uphold his deal to bring back Amado's daughter through the karma?
r/Boruto • u/InformationFalse756 • 1d ago
Imagine if one day Amado actually succeeds with whatever plan he's cooking up. Just remember he's doing all of this while there are people who can monitor every single thing he's ever done in the past and present, plus someone who can literally see the future. If he still pulls it off that's actually insane, and also the reason no one knows Amado’s plan yet especially Kashin Koji is because right now, his plan is destined to fail. But if you really think about it, this actually works in Amado’s favor. It gives him the chance to change and adjust his plans moving forward. Especially now that he knows there are people with powers like Koji who can easily figure out his true objective, so amado plan failed in current future sound like blessing in disguise for amado
A big question I personally had from a few chapters back was the timeline of when certain events happen.
Momoshiki & Borutos deal for example would’ve meant that Jura is alive during the big Kawaki vs Boruto fight (since Momoshiki hadn’t taken control of Borutos body yet)
Koji confirms that in most timelines Kawaki is dead (whether by Jura, Boruto, or some other reason is still to be revealed)
So we can at least determine that Jura will be handled after the Kawaki v Boruto fight due to the way it’s been described to us as of now
Of course with the future actively being changed with every decision Koji makes this can’t be 100% certain but as the matter stands this is the chain of events.
Kawaki vs Boruto -> Jura Final Boss Fight
(with Kawaki possibly sacrificing himself to stop/kill Jura)
As far as I’m aware this is right but if I have missed something let me know
