Clarification on RULE 1
The recent uptick in non-borderporn has led me to make a post describing what we feel will help you determine if your post qualifies for r/borderporn.
All posts need to clearly have something to do with Geopolitical or Geological Borders.
Geopolitical borders are political boundaries. They separate countries, states, provinces, counties, cities, and towns. A border outlines the area that a particular governing body controls. The government of a region can only create and enforce laws within its borders.
Geological borders are natural or man-made physical borders in the earth like rivers or mountain ranges. For example, the boundary between France and Spain follows the crest of the Pyrenees mountains. For part of its length, the boundary between the United States and Mexico follows a river called the Rio Grande.

Cave-in-Rock, IL - along the bank of the Ohio River on the border with Kentucky
The Ohio River is very interesting in that the actual state boundary is about 100 feet from the Northern bank of the river as opposed to being split down the middle. I find that just as interesting as this cave that is right on the river

The confluence of the Mississippi & Ohio Rivers at Cairo, IL, at the tripoint where Missouri, Illinois & Kentucky meet
The exact tripoint is located ~2000 feet off the riverbank in the Mississippi, above the small sign near the river on the right hand side of the first photo.
Also included photos of the two rickety bridges that connect this park to Missouri & Kentucky

Tripoint of AL-FL-GA
Fantastic trip to this tri-point with huge thanks to the property owner. I was able to stand right on the bank overlooking the river while standing right under the sign.

Border between Georgia and Russian occupied Abkhazia in Anaklia (Georgian side)
The line of control is about 500 meters further on but this is as far as you can go. In the distance we could see a watchtower on the occupied side. Weirdly enough there were no Georgian border guards to be seen.

International boundary line between the United States and Mexico in a postcard, roughly dated 1930’s-1940’s
This postcard shows the U.S.–Mexico border at San Ysidro in the 1940s, featuring the original U.S. inspection station that opened in 1933. In this era, travelers could drive almost directly up to the small border checkpoint, a scene that looked very different from today’s massive international crossing. Traffic volumes were only a fraction of what they are now. The original inspection building still stands, now surrounded by the modern San Ysidro Port of Entry, which has become one of the busiest land border crossings in the world, handling tens of millions of people and millions of vehicles each year.

New era for Gibraltar with removal of 118-year-old border controls with Spain
From 15 July, the border between Spain and Gibraltar has been removed, allowing freedom of movement between Spain and Gibraltar.
This is part of a carefully negotiated agreement between the European Union and the UK following the latter's exit from the bloc. Sharing a land border with the EU meant that Gibraltar posed a particular challenge in the post-Brexit era.
The removal of the border is therefore expected to have major economic benefits, facilitating the flow of people back and forth, and possibly going some way to redress the imbalance between the two territories.

Belgian-Dutch Rail Border shows passenger rail company logos on 100% freight only line
This is at the border between Zelzate, BE and Sas van Gent, NL.
I found these signs very interesting at the border today. NMBS the Belgian Railway logo is crossed out going into the Netherlands and the NS logo is displayed underneath.
The thing is though is this railline is 100% freight only. NMBS and NS are the national passenger railway companies not responsible for freight services.
I think it's done this way because the logos are iconic and simple to see from a moving train, the responsible Infrabel or ProRail logos wouldn't have the same effect and could be confusing. It indicates the end of Belgian railway regulations and the start of Dutch ones. At least this is my take, let me know what you think!
