Gotta say, I was enjoying the story for the most part, riiiiiiight up until the point after you get back from the big rescue. After that, it feels like they ran out of ideas and time, and just slapped together the end of the game. From the moment you talk to the exhausted Lilith until the credits rolled, everything felt so rushed and forced. Z spent 1k+ Years with the Timekeeper, and didn't for a moment consider that your Echo-4, THE ONLY THING SUPPRESSING YOUR BOLT, being knocked out of commission would be a cause for concern? Didn't recognize the difference in cadence when he speaks through someone else? Whatever you need to force your plot along, and try to force the player to want revenge for yet another character that was just recently introduced to any depth, I guess. Arjay was just an awful plot device with zero purpose other than an excuse to shove volatile enemies into the final stretch en mass. All in all, decent story, solid game, absolutely garbage ending sequences. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts and views on the ending stretch of the base game.

So I wanna make a case for bloomreaper to be one of, if not the worst, raid boss in bl history.
Basically, it's a timed fight for the best loot, meaning you have to be perfect else your sol for the best loot .
Phase 1
It starts off with you needing to smash 6 vile crystals, which already are the most annoying thing to actually break, while being attacked by several creeps, who also have vile crystals .
Making it so self revives are practically impossible.
Then you have to destroy the small and hard to see ordanite orb floating around before it replenishes the crystals. All while bloom reaper is attacking you with a very strong attack, that you have to jump at the right time to avoid, else you take a lot of damage and get launched away.
Then it triggers a 10-20 second animation where it is immune to damage .
Then phase 2
Now you have to navigate several platforms above the abyss, while bloomreaper jumps from platform to platform, attacking with a really powerful lazer beam (which pushes the player and can stun lock them) and acid spills the platform hes on.
Not to mention the army of creeps he sends at you
If you deal enough damage he will trigger another immune phase followed by phase 3 in which he cannot take damage and can be locked into his Lazer animation for even longer.
Phase 3.
In phase 3 he fills the arena with a thick sandstorm where the player cannot see anything including the boss and the tiny platforms of safety while still attacking relentlessly and hopping from platform to platform.
That is assuming you at no point got flung into the abyss or worse killed while in the air and fell to your doom .
All for him to fall off the edge and spew the loot directly into the bottomless pit as you watch in actual rage .
The whole fight feels like tiny moments of taking the piss, from the difficult creeps to the use of vile crystals, to the abysmal map and bloomreapers moveset that makes him invincible more often then not
It gets worse if your Rafa or amon melee builds as the shit targeting sends you hurtling into the Stygian darkness you have not felt since listening to mid 00s my chemical romance .
It feels so frustrating to know your either shit out of luck or have to rebuild your character into the carbon copy Harlowe boss melter #29 every youtuber is running.
It just feels like such a shit, piss take of a map
Like am I the only one or do others feel differently about the fight ?

I have a question.
Ihave the base game on disc for the ps5. I enjoy the game a lot and want to buy the dlc but it is quite expensive. currently the super deluxe edition is om sale in the ps5 store for 50 euros. is it beter to just buy the super deluxe edition and try to resell the physical copy? or is there another way to upgrade?

Howdy y'all
I have been trying to get my Rafa and my Amon builds to the point where I can get to UVH7
I've basically been using a variant of the Speed Demon build with Rafa with TKs Wave with Torque explosives (not the rockets but the kind that blow up when you reload) and was melting everything before they nerfed the Dancer class mod. Now my Rafa can only do any decent damage with the golden god, but it's still underpowered.
I've been trying to get an Amon build that focuses on the green tree for crit/elemental plus melee action skill. Not doing a great job.
Are there builds on Mobalytics or elsewhere that match what I'm looking for? Is there a key to these build variants I'm missing? I follow the skill and gear, but don't always get the exact specializations or firmware, since I don't want to go hunting down the exact right firmware or spend all that iridium for a build that ends up sucking anyway.

Encountered a glitch last night and not sure how to replicate it. I was running rift bosses/vile bounties and went down before fast traveling to Willis. With Vex's "Strike Me Down" skill, she will automatically revive herself and go invisible for 4 seconds. It seems the glitch is that Vex remained invisible for the remainder of the session. I am not sure how it happened but know I was fast traveling often and noticed as soon as I came to Willis that he was not attacking me. I haven't been able to replicate the glitch but it made farming Willis extremely easy!

So I finally decided to grind for all the base game phosphenes for the challenge gun skin. It's honestly been pretty fun going through a tour of all the bosses in the game that I haven't touched in forever. I've been making good progress and all has been good. But then I got to the Ohm I Got and holy shit. I cannot comprehend what Gearbox was thinking when they designed Moon-Maddened Callis. This might just be the most tedious boss in the whole franchise IMO. There was supposed to be no immune phases after beating the bosses for the first time. But her entire fight is designed around an immune phase. If you don't instantly kill her which is very easy to not do, even on a good build, because she moves so sporadically and sometimes rushes into the immune phase the second you get through her armor. I just don't understand why they would ever design a boss this way in a game that's designed around farming bosses repeatedly. It's crazy. Sorry for the rant but man I can't wrap my head around their thought process

I could barely keep a stable 80 fps with frame gen on.

Hi there. I do struggle alot with the Watt's for Dinner shield. I farmed Origo around 3000ish times, he barely dropped the shield. And even if he dropped it, it mostly was unsuited for my build. I never had any amp roll. My question is if you guys shared same experience or if one of you guys got any hint of another boss/ enemy with a high chance to drop Watt's for Dinner.

Ive played every other borderlands and most of the dlcs besides 1 and this game doesnt hit like the others. The mobs are annoying. Everything feels like a jump puzzle. The story so far has been lack luster (Im about 15 hours in). Ok rant over, I was just really pumped to finally grab this and its been kind of a bummer so far.

Just curious, mods are downloaded from Nexus Mods.

Currently going to be away until those two are nerfed to reasonable levels.
Bought this game to have fun, not shoot a wall of a changing health bar for hours.
Havenโt played since June.

Just want to shout out the devs, one of my major gripes with open world games is that normally, everyone you find outside of towns are enemies. Itโs nice here to sometimes just running into folks going about their day.

Did my second play through as Ca$h and itโs been fun. Now Iโm looking for a gun damage based build but without sacrificing the usefulness of the totems which I like. Current build is heavy into green tree right side.
