Mobs

Austin Felt (Player of Block Battles), made a Tier list of all mobs currently seen by him in Season 3 of Block Battles (when they were added), so I'll make sure to list the tierlist here and his arguments of why he put each mob in its tier.

D TIER: Cat, Chicken, Frog, Cod, Tadpole, Bee and Turtle.
Reason:"All have tons of counters and provide little buffs."

C TIER: 1- Skeleton, Zombie and Bat. 2- Pig, Squid and Cow.
Reason: 1- "Need to be at night to activate their abilities." 2- " Provide buffs only on Thursdays and Sundays."

B TIER: Enderman (30% chance using the void warp), Fox and Rabbit (+20 luck), Slime and Magma Cube (40% stun rate)

A TIER: Allay (+50 luck), Goat (+20 jump boost [Not the potion effect lvl 20]), Horse (Is great for armor combos), Panda, Polar Bear and Vindicator (+20 strength)

S TIER: Dolphin (+30 speed boost), Iron Golem (+50 strength boost), Parrots (nullify 1 debuff), the sheep (if you get a pink one you instantly win the game 0,164% spawn rate), Axolotl (if you get the dark blue variant 0.083% spawn rate, It'll alt f4 your opponents game), The Warden (you have a 40% chance to make your opponent lose 2 turns)

BANNED EGGS: Drowned, Creeper, Cave Spider, Elder Guardian, Ghast, Phantom and Witch.

In the end, Austin says that if he missed some it's because he hadn't seen those eggs being used in season 3 yet, when it comes out I'll update this post. Here's the image of the eggs he missed (Not sure if it is but it was in the screen when he said it.)

Eggs Austin Probably Missed.

Clans

2 hours ago, Austin Felt (Player of Block Battles) announced the Clan feature, where we could get a bit more overview about the world of Block Battles.

We learned that in order for you to join a Clan, you must be accepted by it's leader, and it might have some requisites for each Clan.

Clans serve the purpose of gaining reputation in the server, by being well known and by going up in the Global Clan Ranking.

It's said in the video that one of the Clans is the Paladins, that only recruits Emerald 2 rankers and above. But, most clans recruit whoever want's to join in, so we can see that serious clans only recruit people by some sort of rank, so, in order to get in great clans, we need a great rank, whick can be difficult to achieve.

The Bats is the biggest Clan in Block Battles, accepting anybody in it and having 8% of all players.

We also got a peak that there are some events, which Austin said that Clans make Events a lot easier. Not only that, but in the end we get to know that some leaders provide rare blocks to their Clan members. Pretty interesting for an update 2h ago, I'm looking forward for it.

Overview of the game.

Minecraft block battles IS played on a 9 by 9 grid of blocks alternating white and black, The game is played by two players in a 1 v 1 in the standard game mode.**Time limit.**In Minecraft block battles there is a time limit of 3 minutes for the game per player and if a player runs out of time, they lose (like chess ). Each player has a ten second limit per turn. If a player takes more than ten seconds to make a legal move, warp ,combo, etc; (will be discussed in further posts ) player is eliminated.

Turns

At the beginning of the game each player will place a block* (items inc. but not warps) that will determine who goes first (ie. Glowstone v glass, glowstone will be first ). In the event of a tie, player who places their block* first goes first.

Then turns will go 1-2-1-2-1..... * (Unless a block or event says otherwise) In The event of accumulative turn Order effects after 3 turns all of these affects will end , restoring original turn Order.

Setup

Each player will come equipped with 9 blocks or items* (Not inc. armor) and One piece of armor .

Movement

Each player has 1 block of movement per turn unless a event or effect says otherwise.

Block placement

Each block has a Reach, Type, Passive, Effect, Area, Stack Limit and Warp Capability.Reach: how far the block can be placed.Type: This is the determiner of combo potential .Passive: effects that last for as long as the block is in play.Effect : The effect of the block will last as long as the text says unless otherwise.Area : area of effectivenessStack limit : Limit of block stackingWarp capability: Text on if the aforementioned block can trigger a warp

Ranks (only matters in ranked )Listed bottom -> up 3 -> 2 -> 1Leather, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Netherite and Amethyst. Then there's the top 100.

Furnace: makes the opponent on fire in the next move if not countered. Can be countered by a bowl with a smeltable item.

Prison trap: Makes the opponent unable to move, countered by enderpearl.

Purple carpet: makes all of the buffs 10 less (if the buff is less than 10 say like luck 5 then the buff is nullified.)

Seed: Gives a hp buff and gives hp regen. Can be countered by a stair highjump to break it.

Cactus trap: disables movement for the player stuck and deals 5 damage every turn they do not get out. It's countered by the ender pearl or an ice warp.

Redstone: teleports the opponent to any trap placed on the board, if no trap is placed they get teleported to a random spot.

Sea lantern: allows a revive if ever died.

Magma block: deals damage to the opponent every other turn (the fire warp’s magma blocks don’t count) is countered by a blast furnace.

Brown mushroom block road: gives the user a speed boost.

Red bed: give the user a damage buff and nullifies any block under it.

Diamond wall: Gives a massive armor buff.

Sponge & water: makes the arena start storming .

“Turtling up” (place doors around yourself, depending on the kind of door, Iron or Wood, the armor buff is higher.): gives a massive armor buff but makes you unable to move for 2 turns.

Lightning rod: deactivates any redstone (such as a lever and trapdoor)

Milk bucket: disables any buffs (not including warp buffs) if given to opponent or you can use it on yourself to get rid of any debuff (even warp debuffs).

Glowstone: Flash bangs the opponent for one turn

Warps:

Ice warp (an end rod with a soul lantern on top): allows blue, cyan, and light blue glass to be placed. Also gives the shiver debuff to the opponent.

Fire Warp (end rod with a lantern on top) : Allows red, yellow, and orange glass walls to be played. Also gives the user a strength buff and fire resistance. If the sun is gone, it brings it back and while the warp is placed the sun cannot be taken. Its countered by Ice Warp.

Ocean Warp (4 kelp blocks with a turtle egg in the middle): Allows cyan, blue, and light blue glass to be placed and makes any fire moves unable to be used.

Desert warp (4 sand blocks with 4 soul torches on top): Give the opponent poison if they don’t drink a water bottle. Also allows red, yellow, and orange glass walls to be placed.Makes the sun infinite; also allows the cactus trap to be placed.

Deep dark warp (bedrock with skulk sensor on top): always nigthtime and allows the user to place pink, purple, and black stained glass.

Mushroom warp (4 red mushroom blocks around the player): this gives the opponent slowness and allows the user to place pink and purple glass walls.

Hi, I don't know if this is going to ever become huge to the point of me trusting someone to post something here but, if it does, hey, I see it as a win. I will use this community to post some rules and some updates we can see in the videos so far. There's some people commenting so much about it, I'll try to give credit for each and every piece of information I can find.
