Anatomy of a Brief Romance [September 11th, 2026] - Upcoming Tour Dates and Other Links

Like my previous "tour dates" threads post, this post is meant to be a repository for the upcoming Anatomy of a Brief Romance tour dates (AOABR tour) and other noteworthy/important links (such as mentions of limited editions, single announcements etc). A reminder that Anatomy of a Brief Romance will be released September 11th, 2026 (produced by Trevor Horn). You can pre-order various different AOABR collections available from the band's website as well.

McKees Rocks/Pittsburgh you were amazing (very lucky too, Skeleton and Tulips!) Sorry I need to write this out in rush, uh Holmdel are you ready to rock with Muse, Bloc Party and the Temper Trap! You'll be thrilled to know they're ready to rock with you tonight at the PNC Bank Arts Center! I'm surprised that Bloc hasn't been out to New Jersey state that often, only their fourth time apparently. Well I hope any Blocheads in Holmdel enjoy the gig (small quick note that Bloc Party's 7th studio album Anatomy of a Brief Romance will release September 2026, good chance you'll hear some heartbreak disco songs from it). Enjoy the gig Holmdel and feel free to comment down below, before or after gig!

July 21, 2026 Roxian Theatre Presented By Citizens, McKees Rocks (Greater Pittsburgh), PA, USA Tour Thread [Setlist, Media, Discussion]

Ah Cleveland it sounds like you had an amazing time on the dance floor at Globe Iron with Bloc Party! I bet Bloc Party will miss you guys. But, we have a back to back Bloc Party gig on this tour! That's right, Bloc Party are playing tonight at the Roxian Theatre (Presented By Citizens) for McKees Rocks of Greater Pittsburgh! I'll admit, I'm not sure if this technically counts as Pittsburgh's 4th Bloc Party gig? Like originally Bloc Party played in Millvale back during the 2013 Four tour (special gig too btw, you guys got the re-appearance of The Present, in a unique Four tour era live rendition too), then Pittsburgh proper at Stage AE for the 2016 Hymns tour, and again opening for Paramore in 2023 at the PPG Paints Arena, and now this time it's in McKees Rocks for this 2026 (pre-release) AOABR tour (Anatomy of a Brief Romance tour). Well like the Millvale 2013 gig, this gig will also be in Allegheny County. So while I confuse myself over geography, McKees Rocks (and Greater Pittsburgh) are you ready to rock! Because you've got a special headlinig Bloc Party gig tonight! Cleveland was just amazing yesterday, so don't be shy now, come out and dance McKees Rocks/Pittsburgh! Bloc Party's 7th studio album AOABR (Anatomy of a Brief Romance) will be releasing later this September 2026 and you'll definitely be in for a taste of that upcoming album tonight!

I'll note, that based off of previous gigs and that the venue's website doesn't seem to be listing an opener, it's likely that Bloc Party will be on stage circa ~20:00 (8:00). Do feel free to comment if this is wrong tho.

Anyways enjoy dancing out to some heartbreak disco with Bloc Party McKees Rocks/Pittsburgh at the Roxian Theatre! If you're going out to tonight's show, feel free to comment before or afterwards down below, enjoy Bloc Party

Yes Cleveland you're the third stop (out of five) of these special individual (pre-release) AOABR tour headlining gigs for US & Canada. The last time Bloc Party played here in Cleveland was when they opened for Paramore during their 'This is Why' tour back at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in 2023 (Bloc Party were actually uniquely invited to come open for Paramore by frontwoman Hayley Williams, special thanks to her for that). Before that, Bloc Party's last headlining gig here in Cleveland was back during the 2016 Hymns tour at the famous House of Blues venue! But tonight's gig will be your fourth Bloc Party gig Cleveland, so are you ready to have an intimate night of rock again with Bloc Party? Of course you are! Get ready for the dance floor Cleveland as you'll experience some wonderful heartbreak disco songs from Bloc Party's upcoming 7th studio album, Anatomy of a Brief Romance (AOABR), releasing later in September 2026! There's no seats at the Globe Iron so you have no excuse to not dance Cleveland (although there might be seats at the bar)!

I will note that, I haven't been able to find if there will be an opener for tonight's gig, so Bloc Party may be on stage at exactly 8pm? I will update if I find out later.
