This is great! It should be a PSA if it isn't already. I love to sing, I wish my friends and family would jump on board and sing with me like this instead of leaving the room or saying "no mum".
I checked out a local choir years ago one time, in the hopes of joining them because singing loud is fun, it's even better in a crew and I'm an okay singer, better than some, not as good as most, but good enough. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I had expected. I didn't join. It was eleven of the whitest women in tapered, white linen pants with seams down the front that they bought off the shopping channel from the telly-and one man and they sung Crocodile Rock by Elton John. I got out of there quickly. I couldn't be a part of that.
The lady in charge of running it took it very seriously. She was wearing capri pants and white sandals and I knew the second I saw her that I wasn't joining them.
