What is preventing people from getting camos the most? Longshots!
This is your reminder to hop on those longshots so other people grinding camos can get the long shot camos, you don’t have to feed it to them. But make sure if you are in a nuketown lobby to get to the main longshot area no matter the mode.

It’s people like me who played only the zombies mode when the game was “active” and now play it and want to get DM Ultra years later.

Idk if y’all experience this but before I would play die maschine and it would crash each time I would go into the ether to pack-a-punch. Reinstalled multiple times and no advanced graphics installed, I have the right version installed as well. Now COD won’t even let me get into the zombies lobby without crashing.

Hi everyone! On PS5, are they ever going to fix this bug where the game lags? Ever since the latest update in Cold War it’s been bad! Or do we have to wait years for them to fix it?

Hey! So, i have played CW in recent months, mainly zombies, but ive enjoyed the game pretty much except crashes and disconnections when played w friends.

I have go up to lvl 459, and i saw there is like a store where u can trade keys for cards and emblems of past Black Ops, but it says i need to enter to “Season Level 100” and so on.

Theoretically, this game is in postseason territory, so all Seasonal Rewards like this should be available. Or maybe i havent done something required.

What should i do? How do i “oficially enter” the prestige territory? Is something missing?

Based on what we know about “Bell,” there has been no official statement from Activision or Treyarch confirming a canonical gender for the character.

Many games handle protagonists in a similar way. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and many other RPGs with character customization do not establish a fixed canonical gender for the player character.

Since Black Ops Cold War gives players the option to define Bell’s identity, is it reasonable to say that, from my own perspective and experience playing Cold War, Bell is female because I played the female version of the character?

I understand that others may view Bell differently depending on their playthrough, but my personal interpretation is based on the version of Bell I experienced in the game

I know the surface level explanation is that it’s on a modified engine that has DNA as far back as WAW and BO1, but what specifically about it makes it feel so different from something like BO6/7?

The only thing I can think of is the weapons and how sort of “chunky” and large they feel but BO6 has some of these weapons and they don’t largely look that different. Anyone get this too and have a greater insight as to why this is?

Hey, so i was just wondering if anyone had any graphical errors while playing cold war and any way to fix them. i just got back into playing zombies on here on my newer PC and i dont remember it having any issues when i played on my old PC. occasionally textures dont load in or low res checkered map shows up briefly, as well as when i try to view calling cards or create a class nothing loads. ive added some photos as reference.

After near 20 tries I finally got my first Cod easter egg done! My hands were sweating so dam much the further I got into the easter egg.

The two things that stopped me from completing it on a lower round were finding the fire upgrade on the truck and inputting the password for the computer. Thankfully waffles videos came in clutch lol.

Now that that is done ill start learning fire base z and all the others solo. Its going to be rough but its going to be so much fun to work through. Enjoy watching my erratic gameplay lol.

Just got copy for my PS5 (native version) and the game feels choppy after a while. Nothing that would make game unplayable it is just annyoing knowing I did not have this issue on PC. Is there any fix? Thanks.

I miswrote before and I meant to write that it wants me too pay to play campaign story mode. Even if I click no thanks it wants payment. I have managed to play the campaign completely offline though. The frustrating part is that I bought the game, too be asked for money to play said game. Just want too make it clear that I understand you must pay for multiplayer. That being said Steam has better service, deals, and remote play. I am 100% for steam. I will only buy games on discount. I am coming from Xbox. I still believe in physical media!

How do I upgrade my game without buying it?

So I recently ran through the first prestige on vanguard and it got me back on a cod kick. MW3 and vanguard are a blast. Great matchmakers. So when Cold War was on sale I thought, hells yea. In mw3 and vanguard I’m not great but I’m usually at least positive k/d. Then I play Cold War where on average I die 3 times more then get kills.. Every match is against lvl 2500s.. I absolutely love the era, weapons and maps but playing against nothing but 2500s is agony. Hardcore is a quiet camp fest.. Then there’s the horrid frame rates and glitchy connections.. I don’t get it. Why is this so bad atm? Are they going to fix? Love the zombies and campaign.

I can’t play Cold War unless I’m offline and when I’m online it forces me to pay for xbox live. Below is video

I’d have to say, the Mac 10 doesn’t seem to get the love it deserves 😅 Pack a Punched once it shreds bosses (up to World 6)

I'm wondering. Does anyone else feel like the weapons and attachments in the Black Ops Cold War campaign tends to ruin the whole 1980s setting. Many of the weapons are based on real life weapons that didn't exist until the 1990s or even later. And all the attachments like laser pointer sights (Or whatever those are called) and sights etc make the weapons look like they belong in something like Modern Warfare instead.

The prime example I can think of is the M4 you get in the second mission Trabzon. It just looks way too modern with the laser and advanced looking sight.

I just feel like these advanced modern weapons and attachments kinda takes away from the sort of 1980s feel they were going for.

Just curious. Anybody feel the same?

Been sitting here for straight 10 minutes hoping to find a match for Nuketown 24/7. The game is just dead. I mean. MWII works fine? Man I am just sitting staring at the monitor and it just doesn't work. Wish cod games also had server browser like battlefield titles.

TLDR: If you have the graphics/texture/memory leak problems, install Windows 10.

I have tried all the methods people have documented on here regarding possible ways to fix or minimize the graphics/texture/memory leak problems. For me, this started when I got a new gaming PC with Windows 11. I was never able to make these issues go away.

CPU: AMD 7700

GPU: AMD 7900GRE

RAM: 32GB

Since CW is one of my favorite games, I wanted to try installing Windows 10 to confirm that would work with CW. I also play MWZ, and that hasn't been working (crash on startup) since AMD released a driver graphics driver at the beginning of May.

I did a clean install of Windows 10. Now CW works very well, no graphics glitches. I was even able to turn up most of the quality effects.

MWZ on the other hand, still crashes at startup... So no joy with that one. Only fix I've found for that is to install the previous driver, before May.

For now, all of my other games (including BO7) work fine in Windows 10. So I'm going to stick with it for now.
