Seeing people in this sub talk about horow, so I finally got one last month. Took me forever to install because one of those little side bolts just would not catch, but thats a different story.

I used to buy the thick expensive toilet paper and use a ridiculous amount every time. Thought that meant I was clean. Really I was just wiping until the paper looked fine and deciding that was probably good enough.

If you got something gross on your hand, you wouldnt rub it with a dry napkin for a minute and then carry on. Somehow thats basically what most of us have been doing forever though.

The first time I used the wash function I just sat there like... oh. This is way better. Not some religious experience or anything. I just actually felt clean instead of feeling like I had finished wiping.

Now the bathroom at work annoys the hell out of me. Cheap paper, no water, and I always leave feeling like I stopped halfway through.

Normal toilets feel kind of gross to me now. Wish I never noticed lol.

I already have a hand held bidet, however i’m trying to find a good brand for college that’s also hand held, noise canceling

Basically the title. I apologize if this isn’t allowed but I’m at my wits end.

I bought a couple Eco Novas about a month ago and finally got around to installing them tonight. Both have a very noticeable sound change when moving to the highest pressure mode from the one below - almost like a aerator pulsating sound. Just to confirm, is this normal? It doesn't feel noticeably more intense except for a pulsating feeling.

We’re redoing our bathroom, and I (40+ M) love my $55 Home Depot add-on bidet that I installed a few years ago. I like a lot of things about it, including how low profile it is, w/ exception of the handle. All in, game changer.

Would love some reqs from this thread for some nice, not too pricey bidets that we could add into the updated design. This will be placed on the toilet set, not as an aside.

How do I get this bidet on my toilet? I’m not able to unscrew the plastic screw. If it’s not able to fit on my toilet, any recommendations? It’s the LUXE Bidet NEO 185 Plus.

I have a new Kohler toilet and bidet. Any time you sit on the bidet seat, you hear the sprayer move around and a bit of water comes dripping out, even if you don't use it. Is this normal? It's not a lot of water or power but it adds up over time. I just don't like wasting water.

So far the features on it is great, but it's annoying that the seat itself feels uneven

I can rock it up and down on the left and right. Is that normal? It feels like I can just fall off to how uneven it is

We got a bio bidet from Costco, and installed it. Overall it works fine, but only the first one second or so of the water is actually warm. After that, it reverts to basically tap temperature. I have the temperature setting on the thermostat set to the highest setting, and it's not making any difference. What are the odds that I got a faulty unit versus I'm doing something wrong?

Do you need to have a dedicated function if you wanted to use it for enemas? Or can you do this with any handheld?

We have a Geberit Sigma concealed cistern with a Geberit Type 380 fill valve and a Geberit Smyle Rimfree wall-hung toilet.

The problem is that when we flush, the water doesn't make it all the way around the rim. It only reaches about two-thirds of the bowl before flowing down into the outlet, so the front part of the bowl stays dry and doesn't get rinsed.

I've already checked a few things:

* The water level in the cistern is set to the maximum recommended level.
* Both the small and large flush volumes are adjusted correctly. The large flush is set to 6 L, and the cistern empties completely during a full flush, so I don't think the flush volume is the issue.
* The flow adjustment on the bottom of the Type 380 fill valve is fully open (set to the rabbit, not the tortoise).

We have three identical toilets, and they all behave more or less the same way.

Our friends have the exact same Geberit Smyle Rimfree bowl, and theirs rinses the entire bowl, even with the small flush.

One thing I noticed is that our bowls might be installed with a very slight backward tilt. Using a spirit level, the front edge appears to be about 2-3 mm higher than the back.

Has anyone run into something similar or have any idea what else I should check?

Ok, I’ve finally been able to accept the up front cost of a Toto bidet. The other question about cost is one I hadn’t considered.

It’s not just the upfront costs, it’s also the maintenance. How long do these Toto seats last? And How hard are the toilets to maintain? Will I have to call a plumber, and are the parts crazy expensive? I know that it’s a dad duty to change float balls on conventional toilets. Will I need a plumber? I was thinking about getting three of these. What can I reasonably expect to average a year in maintenance?

Just FYI. I just purchased the new 2026 revision of the Vikken GO+. I've been using the Vikken GO for a number of years. Tried Toto, manual squeeze bottles, and Insolife.

I have the 2025 version of the Vikken GO+ also. It is the most powerful travel bidet I have used.

The new version has a few slight modifications. Three levels of pressure now. Highest pressure (what I use) isn't really any different, but the lower levels may be better for people who need a more delicate stream.

Also, they improved the charging port/rubber cover so it is more durable and works with more cables. We'll have to see if that actually is true.

Otherwise, it seems the same as 2025. So if you have one of the 2025s, may not be worth upgrading. If you have a much older version, the charging port and addition water capacity they added a while back (200ml to 300ml) may make it worth while.

We want to hire a plumber to do bidet for our bathroom, we want him to recommend also the type of bidet we should buy. Any recommendations?

Hello! Just recently replaced my aging toilet with a TOTO Drake, which I'm very pleased with! I'm less pleased with the Brondell LE99, though. Its water pressure seems quite weak compared to the cheap non-electric, direct-to-supply bidet attachment we were using before.

We don't need a firehose, per se, but we want to make sure that there's enough force coming from the stream. What recommendations would you have for someone looking to have the basic luxuries of a washlet while also having decent water pressure?

We're located in Canada; the Bio-Bidet BB2000 is on our radar but it's a bit overpriced in this country (and may be too much for our needs?).

(Also, where's the best place to buy these things?)

The toilet I am trying to get a bidet onto is not compatible with most bidet seats that have sprayer in the bowl. Are the handheld sprayer style bidets pretty universal in compatibility? Or are there specific finicky compatibility issues too.

I have tried the Tushy v2 and 3 and a Brondell non-electric. I don’t have an outlet near my toilet and I’m perfectly happy with cold water. The problem with these models is the spray is so wide and inaccurate everything gets soaked and I need to use a towel to dry off afterwards.

when I used friends electric models, the spray is much more pinpoint and accurate. I get clean and minimally wet.

any recs for a cold water model that has a precise spray that doesn’t drench you?

Overall, yes the bidet is a game changer. But somewhat disappointed and confused that not only do the hinges look more exposed than expected, the gap between the back bumpers and the toilet is present, these are supposed to be perfectly compatible items. Did I install this wrong? I followed the video and double checked the written instructions.
