DISCUSSION No reason to ever play pick up by 1’s and 2’s anymore

Why not use the score we use in baseball during pick up? Why would you make 3s worth twice as much as 2s? No one would ever play by 2’s and 4’s

How to get good at basketball fast.

Upvotes

I'm about to be a sophomore in high school and I realized I've never been on a team or played a sport despite being somewhat athletic. I also realized that I have no friends and that nobody respects me, so I came to the decision being on the basketball team might increase my chances of becoming more popular, and if I lock in all summer I might have what it takes to make the team. Fast forward to now, I only have 4 more weeks of summer and very depressed. Is there anyway I can get good enough at basketball in that time to make jv? If I dont make the team this school year I might kill myself.

Consider me new to the game. I dont know how to shoot the ball and cant seem to learn a proper shooting form i feel like im throwing the ball at the rim. My dribbling skills are okayish for a beginner. I like to play basketball but i suck at it. I am a slightly skinny 168cm 16yr male

GENERAL QUESTION What are the easiest basketball skills to learn?

I've always wondered, how do all the basketball skill difficulties rank. Like what is the easiest skill to learn and what is the hardest skill to learn?

Obviously this is a subjective question so what is your opinion on this?
