I stand before the 3.1% of you to say that I have now joined your ranks. After 4 attempts and a lot of regretting my life choices, I have beaten Honor Mode.

There were many times where I thought this was it and I'd have to start again but I managed to live long enough to kill the brain and save Baldur's Gate. I even fought most/all of the bosses, including Raphael and even Ansur (who's fight was not as hard as everyone made it out to be?? I really only panicked during that battle when I realized I was going to have to take a Stormheart Nova to the face after I ran out of places to hide)

In a wild turn of events, I even got a nat 20 and dominated the brain. I was NOT expecting that and it happened on my first roll too. I had all 4 inspiration to use on that roll but didn't end up needing to.

I will be returning to the easier difficulties for a while but this was a truly fun and heart stopping experience

Side note: I didn't know completing HM also gave you the achievement for completing Tactician? I haven't done a Tactician run yet but got the achievement last night when I killed the brain

For my evil run, I'm playing a half-elf Death Cleric and Embracing the Dark Urge as a Bhaalspawn. I've also gone partial illithid for the powers. Because of my evil run, I'm having all my companions pursue power (Shadowheart is a dark justiciar, Lae'zal is embracing Vlakkith, etc) and that means ascending Astarion. I forgot that you kind of have to become a vampire spawn if you want to keep romancing Astarion, so I let him turn me (after making sure Bhaal wouldn't like... toast me for it). This dialogue choice made me cackle out loud.

After roughly two grueling hours on Tactician difficulty, I finally managed to rescue every single prisoner in the Iron Throne, including all my companions and my Durge. Those damn Sahuagins and those explosive spiders can go straight to the Hells >:(

Hi! So I just saw a short about the secret achievement that can be achieved by using Owl from the top ropes. I've literally watched a bunch of videos and have done it a million times but the achievement hasn't shown as complete on my Xbox account. I've added a video, I do have a note though: Karlach hit him with an arrow before this to provoke him out before but out side of that, there was nothing else. I did what was told online. **Collosus** --> **owl bear** --> **long strider** --> **enlarge** (w/e it's called)

If someone can help me and let me know what I'm doing wrong for this achievement that'd be amazing!

Wonder what the other dream guardians look like for the origin characters. A purple teifling for Shadowheart? Is Gale's dream guardian Mystra's spitting image?

It's been two years since my last playthrough, but the Reithwin Town (aka Shadow-Cursed Lands) still lives in my head rent-free.

Looking back at how twisted and depressing it is now, I find myself constantly wishing we could have a glimpse of what it looked like at its peak—before Ketheric's fall, before the curse, what did the streets, the tollhouse, and Moonrise Towers look like when people actually lived and worshipped there under Selune??

Since I'm not artistically inclined and I'm really not a fan of using AI to generate it, I just want to hear how this community envision Reithwin before the tragic events in BG3.

My mod 'Any Way You Want It' is poised to enter alpha release. At present I am focusing on editing each head for each race so that it displays the correct racial characteristics. Ears mostly, but gith noses and slitted eyes too. Hopefully doing one a day! Vote on who I should do next 🤣.

On release, you'll be able to play and replay cutscenes, including party banter and voice barks, transform characters into other characters (both in the game world and in cutscenes), complete control over cutscene visuals, create your own Instant Origins, customize all NPCs to your hearts content, as well as a variety of slice-of-life tools to enable you to customize your cutscenes ... any way you want it :).
