What's your favourite Triple J songs from the nineties?
One of mines is Bran Van 3000 Drinking in L.A.
Good memories of being stoned on the driveway in the late nineties, waiting for the next episode of South Park to start. Staring at the stars...Y2K and 9/11 not even a thought.

Zgeek
Anyone on the Zgeek forums back in the day? Met up with imp and holster a few times back in the early 00s but dropped off once all the legal drama started kicking off. Always good for a laugh. Anyone know what happened to Pirate aka Tony Bresciani?

stuck on the Rotor...
I loved going on the Rotor at Luna Park...
One time I stupidly wore a skirt and my boyfriend had to peel me off the wall after the ride had finished ๐ซฃ๐ณ
Lucky for me, I was wearing nice undies...not ones like Bridget Jones! ๐ง๐๐

Help remembering late 90s/early 2000s pc game
I remember playing this in primary school in the late 90s, early 2000s. I don't have a whole lot of strong memories but the main level I remember is you are trying to catch a bunch of bilbies that are running around in the dark and you have a torch trying to spotlight them.
I also remember the main menu or homebase or whatever was in some sort of big auditorium.
It was very Australian/educational game so probably only an Australian of the same vintage as myself (mid 30s) might recognise it.
Thank you!

Did you grow up with the Gumnut Babies (Snugglepot and Cuddlepie)? 97 baby and loved the book as a very young kid.

ALPHA! OMEGA! APLHA! OMEGA!
Does anyone remember this kids gameshow from the late 90s. The first season was hosted by Diarmid Heidenreich a.k.a Dougie the pizza delivery guy.
The thing I remember most of all was the teams being called "Alpha" and "Omega", which meant during the challenged segments the crowd would be cheering "ALPHA!" "OMEGA!" "APLHA!" "OMEGA!" in opposition. That cheering is seared into my brain.

Early appearance from Colin Lane in "Neighbours" as a potential corporate client for Lassiter's. Crazy Julie accuses her husband Phil of having an affair and his colleague Gaby of being a "slut", only for Lane to reveal this was a business meeting.

Collecting insects as a kid and having them in a jewelry box or ice cream container with holes drilled in it.
Was this a universal experience or was it just my childhood. I feel like almost every Australian kid in the early 00s either had either a caterpillar or a lizard or some type of insect hidden in a jewely box or an ice cream container filled with holes at one point kept as a pet filled the bottom with bark and twigs from out in the garden and you would go ask your dad to drill holes in the box. Or was it just me that did this as a kid.

Changi
Such a well-written and well-performed show. The camp Doctor (Rowdy?) was amazing
In terms of nostalgia, a great generation of actors playing the older men
