Hi, Had this coin for many years and haven’t seen anything like it before. It’s not copper but rather a silver metal. It could be plated? It has some enamel paint on one its faces but haven’t attempted any cleaning until I know what I’m dealing with. Does anyone have any idea of what this coin is or came from?

Hi, I recently purchased a 1901s gold sovereign. It is apparently UNC. Would it be worth getting it PCGS graded? Does that add to its value apart from guaranteeing its authenticity and has anyone else done this with gold coins if so what was the cost like as the pricing seems kind of vague.

I have a $200 Koala coin... Has always been in the protective sleeve it came in (though obviously not a sealed mint condition). I can't confirm at this moment but the issue is around 1984, if that makes a difference?

Is this worth more than the face value? Where does one go to have this assessed for potential sale?

Hi everyone! My first post here, I just wanted to clarify that I’m not quite sure if I can even consider myself a hobby collector so I really don’t know anything about this niche- however I have managed to build up a collection over many years of my childhood, and recently I’ve picked up a retail job where I occasionally switch out my (normal) $2 coins for cool ones I see in the register.
It just brings me a sentimental satisfaction from the joy of finding a pretty coin I’ve never seen before. I’ve haven’t really thought much into valuation, but I’ve been seeing a lot of posts from this sub over the course of a few months now so it’s been interesting seeing everyone else’s coins and made me wonder if I had anything special, or cool I guess

That said, I am a tiny bit curious if anything here has even a slight ‘wow-that’s-actually-worth-more-than-2$’ reaction, and can you tell I like the colourful ones?
I do know the Olympic 2016 coins are probably the most common thing ever tho
