Hello! What are some fun/good restaurants in the Evans area?

I am doing a birthday lunch with my coworkers tomorrow and wanted to pick something near our office. We are next to Poblano’s for reference (I LOVE poblano’s but we eat there weekly lol!).

I like all kinds of food, Asian, Mexican, American, etc! Picture is slightly related cause I would bring my parrot to lunch if I could lol (I did not let her have much of that cookie!!!) thank you everyone 🙂

Question Does anyone in the CSRA do hair nanoplasty?

Upvotes

I’ve been looking in Columbia, Augusta, Aiken, I mean literally everywhere and nobody seems to know about it. My hair is kinky curly and it’s a pain in the butt to maintain. I’ve been watching videos of nanoplasty and I feel like I want to pull the trigger!!

Question Adult Ballet classes for beginners

Does anyone have any recs for a good adult ballet dance studio around the CSRA? I haven't done ballet since I was in elementary school so I don't really have any of the technique or skill. I don't want to be in a class with much younger students, I would rather be in a class dedicated to adults!

Thank y'all!

Question Augusta University, University Village Question

Hello everyone! I don't know if this is the right place to ask this or if there's a better subreddit to put this question, but I've been struggling to figure out what floor my UV dorm is on.

The dorm number is apparently 5207D. The move-in dates are scheduled by floor, so I need to know which floor I'm on, but I can't find anything telling me. If anyone has lived at UV or might know any information to help me find an answer, please let me know!

Thank you, have a great day!

Things to Do Any lesbian specific groups or clubs?

My girlfriend is going to be moving here in about a month from California and is wondering if theres like specific lesbian circles in augusta to hang out in. We'd be looking to meet new friends with people with similar lived experiences, doesn't really need to be a support group or anything. Is there anything like that here or is it all just stuff that dies after pride?

Outdoor Activities Dog parks or dog friendly trails?

Not the Riverwalk, please 😅

I have 2 big dogs, and while I have a pretty big yard, I want to give them a change in scenery.

Looking to change jobs. I've done grocery/retail before. Anyone here currently work at Fresh Market or have in the past?? I'm deciding between there and Kroger, but I've heard horror stories about Kroger. Nothing on Fresh Market.

Events Tipsy Spelling Bee at Le Chat Noir tonight 7/18

Post image

I know it's last minute but I figured I'd share - there's a fun free event at Le Chat Noir tonight, July 18, called the Tipsy Spelling Bee. It's free to spectate, I think $20 to participate (covers the drinks between rounds).

Starts at 8, if you want to compete get there around 7:45. It's always a fun time, I figured anyone looking for something to do tonight may enjoy!

Gaming Any older gamer people want to be friends?

Hello!

My husband (40) and I (35) have been in Augusta for about 5 years or so now and we literally have no friends here. We work, come home, and game, lol. We don't have kids (but dont hate them or anything). Looking for friends maybe around our age we can hang with and play together? This post is mostly for my husband, he has a laptop and he misses when he used to be able to bring it to people's houses and play like League or DoTA, etc, drink and have fun. We are open to any online game. We are super chill.

Question Searching for a personal injury lawyer

I was hit in a car accident about a month ago, and every time I talk to the insurance company I feel like I'm getting a different answer. One person tells me everything is moving forward, and the next says they're still reviewing everything. Meanwhile, I'm still going to physical therapy and have no idea what's going to happen. I'm starting to think I should speak with a personal injury lawyer, does anyone have a recommendation?

That if you buy seafood at Publix, they will steam it for you at no cost.

Just bought 4 Lobster Tails for $23 and they seasoned them in Old Bay and Lemon and steamed them for me.

That is all.
