I am 38yr old female 50kg.
A couple of weeks ago I had possible reaction that I’m seeing allergy specialist for. It looked similar to the first photo but worse. In last 2 weeks I have been monitoring my throat due to pain and discomfort. The photo on the right was a few days ago and then this morning I have woken up with this mild swelling and yellow discolouration again. I have had sore throat and post nasal drip. Could this amount of discolouration and swelling be due to that or does it seem more like angiodema

I am 18, 6 foot 2, 77kg, male, i do not take medication but I take supplements like zinc and fish oil and I don't smoke regularly. I found 2 swollen lymph nodes in my neck around 5 weeks ago, they were in vertical to each other, l went to the doctor and it was the usual come back in 2 weeks if they persist, over the two weeks I had multiple more pop up and go away but the first 2 remain. However, these two weeks I smoked cigarettes and drank frequently. I had a blood test and it came back positive for mono although I haven't got any of the symptoms apart from inflamed lymph nodes. The 2 lumps are hard, immovable and are slightly painful. I've had a few pop up and go down in various locations, one in each armpit which gave me server pain, however the main 2 have been present the whole time and are about the size of a marble. Obviously I'm having major panics about it being cancer but I'm not sure what else it could be, if anyone has any idea please let me know.

I have had 2 repeadily reactive 4th gen test from the same doctor office, they were taken 3 months apart. I had another 4th gen test inbetween these two a month after the first one taken from a different office that came back negative but all labs came from quest. Confirmation tests were negative as well as pcr rna and hiv 1 dna qualitative negative. I know its rare extremely rare but I believe I contracted this 10 years ago from someone who I found out is confirmed Hiv positive. Whom I was with for over 2 years. I believe I am an elite controller and since I waited so long to test my antibody response has been unable to be detected. My question is if I am in this situation what options do i have to get a proper diagnosis? My symptoms are i have lost over 40 pounds, swollen lymph nodes, reoccurring infections; extreme joint pain in legs that never gets better.

i f(23) have had this issue for the past month, my doctor keeps saying its just weight gain but there is no way i gained this much weight so quickly while eating the same amount as usual during physical therapy for hip and back pain. I am not an active person but I also eat like 2 meals a day and I do not eat a lot. I felt this swelling from my feet up to my forehead, it was not extremely visible but you could still see it especially since after some time it started happening more on just the left leg. i now have stretch marks on my thighs near the hip and the inner thighs, as well as behind one knee, and my breasts. I do not take any medicine as I was worried it would make the swelling worse. My blood test showed that my thyroid was fine, the only thing that was not okay were WBC 3.2 NEU 1.3 LYM% 47.6 NEU% 38.9 HGB 115 RDWcv 15.1 PDWsd 7.6

(Male, 16, 5'3") I sometimes have tonsil stones and feel like something stuck on my throat but it's not really painful to me... It's just smells very bad but i wonder, do i need to go to the doctor or even do a surgery to my tonsils or not yet?

28F, caucasian, 5'7, 185lb. hashimotos disease, levo 137mcg x1 daily. USA.

Last week, I woke up with a sore right knee. I don't remember injuring it at all, so I chalked it up to sleeping funny. It was really only painful when doing twisting movements, lifting the knee up, or walking UP stairs. over a few days, the pain receded and i figured it was healing. This morning, I woke up in MUCH more pain. I could barely turn over in bed because of the weight of my own leg hurt to move. A few years ago, I had a partial tear to my MCL in my left knee. This feels similar, but I distinctly remember hearing a "POP" when i injured my left knee, which is something I did not hear or feel this time. I also could hardly weight bear with my old MCL injury, this one I can weight bear just fine. Its just the twisting, lifting, and going up stairs that hurt like crazy. I have to go up 2 flights of stairs to get into my house and that was extremely painful this morning. I was also experiencing some wobbling in my painful knee when pressure was applied to move up a step.

The green is where the deep ache is, which hurts most of the time. the purple is where the sharp pain comes in when twisting or going up stairs.

Even just lifting my leg to get into my car this morning was very difficult, and I had to physically lift my knee with my hands so I didnt yelp in pain.

But then again, I can walk on flat surfaces no problem with barely any pain. Its just the movement that makes it really bad.

no swelling either.

Any ideas? My insurance is crazy and I really would like to solve this from home if possible, but I will go in if need be. I have two twin toddlers and I need to be able to properly be their mom by getting up and down to their level, carry them up and down stairs, etc.

I have been getting these large, itchy skin bumps for some time. They appear randomly during the day, without any obvious trigger. Sometimes I don’t get any for up to two months, and then they come back again.
Each one starts as a tiny red spot with what looks like a small puncture mark, almost like a needle prick. Over the next several hours, it becomes a large, red, swollen, and very itchy bump. Each bump usually lasts for about a week before it goes away.
The bumps mainly appear on my arms and back. They are very itchy but usually not painful.
I sleep in the same bed as my girlfriend, but she has never had any similar bumps or skin problems.

Have anyone of you experienced or seen such a thing ?

Hi! I'm a 15-year-old male from the Philippines. I've had persistent fatigue and brain fog since around Grade 5, and it's still affecting me in Grade 11. It impacts my school, sports, and daily life.

Main symptoms

- Chronic fatigue / very low energy

- Brain fog (slow thinking, poor concentration, difficulty finding words)

- Wake up tired despite 7.5–8 hours of good-quality sleep

- Exercise intolerance and low physical strength

- Social activities drain my energy

- Occasional cold hands/feet and mild lightheadedness when standing

- Dark circles that don't improve with sleep

Puberty concerns

- No armpit hair at age 15

- Very little body hair

- Often mistaken for someone much younger

Recent labs

- CBC and iron studies: Normal (Hemoglobin 15.2 g/dL)

- Ferritin: 648

- Vitamin B12: 738

- TSH: 4.09 (borderline high), Free T4: Normal

Other information

- Previously had low blood pressure.

- Food, water, coffee, rest, and good sleep don't significantly improve the fatigue.

- I have POIS, but the fatigue persists even after reducing ejaculation, so it doesn't seem to fully explain my symptoms.

- My pediatrician referred me to a hematologist, but I'm wondering if an endocrine disorder could also be involved.

Questions

1. What conditions would be highest on your differential diagnosis?

2. Could delayed puberty or hypogonadism explain these symptoms?

3. Should I see a pediatric endocrinologist?

4. What additional tests or imaging would you recommend?
