I’m looking for an airy blurred matte lip product in a brick colour that’s lightweight and ideally transfer proof. One that gives this sort of blurring lips effect.

I’ve heard good things about these products:
- Romand Blur Fudge Tint (Radwood)
- Timephoria Altera Blurring Lip Tint (Flex)
- Etude Fixing Tint
- Fwee Pudding Pot
- Peripera Ink The Velvet Lip Tint

If anyone is familiar with any of these and would recommend them, or if you have any other recs let me know xx

Is there such a thing? I've tried everything popular brands primarily from the US.

But, I feel like Asian beauty most often is more advanced so wondering what you tried that you were blown away from! Especially for those annoying cystic blemishes.

Personal Info:
I have normal-combination skin. I don’t find my skin to be especially sensitive or problematic - my primary concern has just been getting rid of some pesky acne marks on my cheeks. I live in Southeast Asia and where the climate is extremely humid and hot year-round. Skin tone wise, I usually pick up the beige shade for makeup and it works 90% of the time.

My routine:
AM - wash face with water, Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Toner, Cos de Baha 10% Azelaic Acid Serum, Sunscreen.
PM - Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Toner, Cos de Baha 10% Azelaic Acid Serum, SNP Prep Peptaronic Cream.
Every other night I use 0.025% tretinoin. On those nights I skip the toner and serum.

I was very excited to buy this product when I saw it had no alcohol and fragrance. I have used the OG Aqua Rich before but was put off by those two things exactly. I think it’s a very new product too given that no one has done a review of it. (In fact a while ago I posted on Reddit asking if anyone had tried the product, and it seemed like indeed nobody has.)

True to its claims there is no fragrance at all. Texture I would say is quite similar to the OG - I’d describe it as gel-like. There is no white cast at all. My biggest problem with this product however is the way it makes my face look greasy. My preference is sunscreens with glowy finish - I don’t like matte. But I felt like this one was just greasy. I was also very conscious of it being on my skin, if that makes sense. Feels like I slathered on some butter on my face. For reference, sunscreens I consider “weightless” are Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum, Beauty of Joseon Relief Sunscreen, Finally Found You Sun-Rice All Day (plugging in an Indonesian product which deserves the hype!)

Moreover, this sunscreen doesn’t play too nice with makeup. Probably because of the oily layer it leaves. My concealer wasn’t able to blend nicely. Maybe if I gave the sunscreen 15 mins to absorb but honestly I don’t have time in the morning.

On the positive side, I’ve been using it for 4 days now and so far no breakout or irritation. It does moisturise my face adequately even as I am on tretinoin. The gel texture is smooth and easy to apply.

Nonetheless I would not repurchase it because it just doesn’t compete with the other much more cosmetically elegant sunscreens out there which are similarly free of fragrance and alcohol. I purchased it for SGD 11, a price point at around I could find better sunscreens. I am using it as sunscreen for my forearms so it doesn’t go to waste.

After years of using the same shampoo and conditioner and living with dry, frizzy hair, I finally decided to embark on a quest to find my HG hair products! Asked around and shortlisted some brands, and decided to try the brightly packaged Mise en Scene Perfect Serum Original Conditioner (I still had a lot of shampoo left so moved on to the new conditioner first).

The stats:

• Climate: Tropical, humid and hot SEAsian weather
• Hair type: 2A, thick, high porosity, hair

\*Disclaimer: I am no expert and didn't look at the ingredients, so these are all just based on vibes***

Initial impression:

I chose this because it smelled so nice when I was browsing it at the shop! It reminded me of the times when someone walks by and you can smell the fragrance of their shampoo because it's that nice. When I first used it, the smell definitely stayed for a bit and my family commented on how they could still smell the conditioner after I showered. Hair quality-wise, I didn't think it did anything substantial and my hair felt the same as when I used my previous conditioner.

After using the whole bottle:

Despite the promising start, I do think that the conditioner actually led to me losing more hair somehow. I noticed after a while that there would be more hair breakage whenever I used it and eventually my hair felt quite brittle. I didn't change the shampoo, so I assume it was the conditioner that led to this. The smell also faded away as time went on and there was very little fragrance left by the time I finished the bottle.

Overall:

I think it was probably a mismatch for my hair type. I know that east asian brands tend to cater to people with straight, sleek hair, so I was wondering if there was something in the ingredients that disagreed with my hair. Or perhaps it was too strong somehow.

Eitherway, a lesson learnt, and the quest continues! Would love suggestions or advice on how to find suitable hair products for hair types.

I've heard a lot of good reviews for the fino hair mask and the hype on tiktok, so I decided get one and try it out to see if it helps with my frizzy dry hair (due to hair colouring i suppose).

I'm a person with straight, thick, long hair, and my scalp gets oily pretty quick. So when I applied it after my usual shampoo routine, it felt really smooth. However after drying my hair is soft, but the frizz still remains. Probably its my hair type that may not be suitable, but this is a heads up to those who have similar hair type as mine, hope this helps :)

hi all! i’ve been loving the tsubaki premium moist conditioner but it does leave my hair slightly dry on some hair wash days… are there any other japanese or asian brands that yall have found to be better than the tsubaki red! thanks all ;)

I've fallen COMPLETELY in love with the WAKEMAKE Soft Blurring Eye Palette #13 Blue Core Blurring and I'm honestly devastated because I can't seem to get it in France 😭 YesStyle doesn't ship this shade to France, and I haven't had any luck finding it elsewhere. I've been searching for a palette with this exact vibe for YEARS!

I also really love the #04 Lavender Blurring and would love to get my hands on a similar palette, but #13 is the one that stole my heart. 🥺

I'm therefore looking for a very close dupe available or a store that might still ship the original palette to France/Europe. Could you help me, please ?

Hey! What skincare do you guys use for your body to give your skin that kind of glow or shine? I’ve been using Naturie Skin Conditioning Milk and it’s turned my skin pretty soft, but it’s more of a “matte” effect rather than a “shine” or “grow” effect if that makes sense! Mainly referring to best products for arms and legs!

I’ve been really enjoying the HaruHaru Airy Fit Sunscreen but the pump stopped pumping out product today. I can tell there’s more product left inside. Does anyone have advice on how to fully empty it? I don’t want to cut open the tube and potentially degrade the sunscreen

I’ve only tried the amber vanilla KUNDAL shampoo from target, but what’s with the amber vanilla on Amazon looking different than targets? Is this normal for the brand or just what the USA versions look like compared to the korean market?

There are so many pinks, corals and red lip tints available. But what are your favourite plums and mauves?

Every time i do a full face my left eye tears up no exceptions and it erodes any concealer, eyeshadow, or eyeliner surrounding it.
I just gave up on concealer and stopped applying it there but i still love the look of an inner corner eyeliner.
I only use brown mascara/ liquid eyeliner and I have yet to find one that will sit in place and not smear off when I start tearing up.
Worse is if i tear up before ive even put the liner on and the skins too damp to apply anything so the liner ink starts to bleed into my fine lines :’(
Can someone recommend a brown liner or a technique to help prevent this🙏

Recently I have been try it the classic red Missha BB cream and I love it! I just I would like to look more glowy and I was thinking that maybe applying it with a chinese sponge wasn't the best for this? Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty great! I'm just curious about how you apply it.

i bought the momori hair oil because i liked the sweet smell of peaches of the cohesive cream, but when i opened it, it smelled terrible and i think it might be spoiled or something, the texture was exactly as in the pics but omg the smell was disgusting and extremely subtle. The closest comparison i can think of would be the scented sanitary pads😭
pls someone tell me if it smells exactly like the hair cream cuz i might ask for a return

I feel like I'm not the target demographic for this one!

As always, my skin as reference; I have to use moisturiser with this or else it feels really weird, drying but super shiny? The packaging is really good. The cap flips open instead of twisting but actually stays on securely, so it's handbag safe.

The smell is VERY alcohol heavy, I could feel the fumes in my eyes lol. It dries down into a nice citrus scent. The feeling upon application is a bit mixed. It does feel fresh but I could really feel the alcohol and it takes a while for the light stinging to leave; I'd say it stimgs in the eyes a bit longer than on the skin.

I actually am not sure how long it takes to really dry down. It looks dried down but doesn't feel like it. The finish is very natural and when I touch it it feels nice, but on the skin itself it's like it never quite loses that sunscreen feeling. It sits on top of the skin and feels kind of greasy but also not hydrating.

On Stylevana the price without sales is 17.99 cents per gram, with the current one 13.56 cents (German website). I personally wouldn't repurchase it for my face and it's too pricey as a body sunscreen. I assume it would work better on non dry/dehydrated skin.

i want to buy from them but im scared the shipping will take forever, im from EU, so if anyone else is too lemme know whats your experience. is it true all what people say about paying taxes, lost packages, poor customer service and dupe products?

also why is it way cheaper than yesstyle?

I just got into using rubycell air cushion puffs for using with liquid and cream concealer and blush. I wonder what is the lifecycle like with these puffs? Can I wash them every week like I wash my brushes? Or are they supposed to be discarded and replaced after some use?
