I just finished my studies in ilustration an wanted to start making coms.

And while Im trying to do all the advice I already read.

Posting on social media to build a base following that would be more willing to buy.

Find niche comunities instead of going for oversatured markets.

Start with skecthes at a lower price.

Seek people instead of hoping that people just appear at my doorsteep.

I was wondering if theres anything else I could do, because im not seeing a lot of results.

Am I being to impatient? Should I offer free art?

I leave some drawings so maybe I could see some suggestions or maybe its that my art is not ready for comms. Thanks a lot for reading

Hi! I have been hoping to get more involved in local markets and festivals to set up a booth to sell my art, but I dabble in a bit of everything and am not entirely sure what actually sells to be worth paying for a spot.

For reference the recent things I’ve worked with have been ceramics, book rebinds, crochet, painting, wire tree sculptures and wire tree necklace. But I’d like to narrow in on objects people want inside of these categories or even expanding from them. I’m hoping some of you have had some luck to help me out!

So I finished this piece for a friend of mine for around $25 USD and took me around 5 hours. I talked to another friend who does commissions and they suggested I raise my prices to $30, but I still don't know if that's too high/low.

I'm gonna link my comms too because I also don't know if my full body pricing is good too for my skill.
