Still looks incomplete
My best guess here is I'm missing some extra refinement during the final stages. For context, I followed this real time digital painting and tried to copy it. This could also be considered an update on my previous post a few days ago discussing bigger shapes lesser details since I'm aiming for the same thing here. I wanna speed up my drawing process while still retaining a really high quality. The video I followed was about an hour long so that's more or less how much I spent on this painting. However comparing them side by side, mine still looks a little incomplete. The simple lines he used as vegetation in his version all look part of the scene and don't stand out whereas I definitely have a few that stick out. Overall, I'm having the same problem I had in my previous post. Any help on this would be appreciated!

I can’t seem to get David Lynch’s likeness right - any ideas?
I’ve redone his eyes, nose, mouth, outline, and hair and even cheated some qualities several different ways but I can’t figure it out.
Any ideas? I just can’t seem to get his likeness captured at all.

Why does my poses always look off?
This happens every time, especially when I'm drawing basi poses, like standing, walking etc. It never looks like the pose in the refrence and something is always off, it's frustrating and I don't know why this happens or how to fix it, my proportions never look right and especially the legs are always wrong

How could I get better with my line art?
I shared the final version as well as my sketch to lineart steps. I felt the pencil sketch was pretty rough which is why I have an intermediate sketch. I feel that maybe my mistake was putting too much detail in the original sketch. I'm using Clipstudiopaint for this and used a pencil brush for the sketch and for the final it was the real g-pen. I feel as I went from the top of the canvas to the bottom I got a bit better at controlling the line thickness but you can tell me. I also went back over a number of lines especially on the outside and added multiple strokes of the real g-pen.

Happy with my concept but can't pinpoint what feels off
Hello, so this is my take on the Danse Macabre - the dance of death - in a 60s GoGo club. I love my idea but something is a bit off. I want the dancers to be the focus and I'm quite happy with them, so I didn't want to overwhelm with the background nor have too little there. Any constructive advice would be welcome!

How can I improve these animal studies?
Hello. I've been practicing painting animals lately. Just for reference, I don't usually do painting -- I mostly draw comic style and characters but I've been branching out a bit lol. I feel like fur is such a struggle to paint. Any tips on how I can improve this?

Open to critic - art competiton plan
Every comment would mean a lot because I want to bring my best here. The winners will be awarded a huge price, but besides price just winning would mean a lot when I'll go to university!
Theme:
"With the theme “Home Field – Shared Energy”, we do not expect to depict goals, centimeters, seconds in a photo, photo series or graphic, but to document the formation of a community. We would like to present the moment, through the tools of art, when the distance between the athlete and the audience disappears and the energy is created, thanks to which the playing field and the audience are connected to each other. \[...\] In this field, the viewer steps out of the role of an outside observer and becomes a participant shaping the dynamics of the event. \[...\] We offer an intellectual framework in which the depiction of sports transcends the boundaries of genre images and becomes an autonomous contemporary artistic value."
My plan:
(I know I illustrated a "second in a photo" but it's not hyperrealistic and tells more (at least this is how i understood)
This is a digital sketch/plan but I'm about to paint it, still I'm unsure whether I should use aquarell or acrylic. (And i have gouache, too) The colors wouldn't be this vibrant, maybe just on some places, and I would make it more sketchy.
Some info about the colors: I cannot change the color of the jersey, it's based off a real basketball team, theres a reversed one tho where the base is white and it has red lines on the side but i think this way it's blending well with the background. Symbolizing the crowd and player blending together and achieving success. Because the red it's giving off a danger vibe rather than belonging but I like how it looks and i hope people can interpet it as a way of seeing the teams color.
Questions:
What should I changed? Can the colors and composition give off the vibe i was going for? What would you do differently and why?
((And if anyone has a recommendation about what should i use black canvas or aquarelle paper/why? (both B/2 size))

Looking for advice of rendering/lighting
Second pic was reference. I moved the hands because I didn’t like the way they were looking so I had to kinda guess. It just feels muddy.

How can I further exaggerate the proportions of these characters?
For context, this is a passion project of mine XD. the town is named Rudebrook, after my favorite Millencolin song "Entrance At Rudebrook". The story is simultaneously a deconstruction and a love letter to those shitty forgotten 2000s teen movies. Rudebrook is basically a reconstruction of American Suburbia made by a rural kid half the world away who grew up watching Dan Schneider Nickelodeon sitcoms, direct to dvd teen movies, Angela Anaconda, reading crappy late 2000s YA novels (Ghostgirl - Tonya hurley in particular) and listening to Skate Punk, Landfill Indie, and Midwest Emo. In this town, everyone drives the same T12 Nissan Bluebird, everyone owns the same pink house from Pulley - Together Again For The First Time, the local Catholic church is named after the patron saint of thieves, and there's a record store that has declared ideological war against the entire Hardcore family tree.
My main influences for the art are Alex Ahad, Aaron Alexovich, Roman Dirge, Crab Scrambly, and an old DeviantArt user named Lithium Tears.

Making reference images for my drawing game. Need some feedback on how the dotted-line style looks.
So I'm making a creative sandbox, crochet-drawing game and it's going to have 20+ of these references. I added an example finished drawing too for context. Do you think the dotted-line style works for this? I've been debating redoing them in solid lines or allowing full image imports as reference, but I feel like that might clutter the workspace. Thoughts?

Genuinely confused as how to approach shading this without messing up the values
As the title says ,
The context of this scene is that this man is entering inside a dark chamber with no lights , and it's raining outside , so the only light source is coming from right side . It sounds good but in practice as I start to shade his head and torso darker , the value of the background and the character starts to almost blend into each other . I tried experimenting different variations of value hierarchy but nothing seems to work :(( , can anyone please kindly help on what should be hierarchy of values on this .
Also this is supposed to be a greyscale piece so i won't be adding colours

How can i improve my head/face drawings ?
These are some sketches i did earlier using the asaro head as reference !! i prefer making up faces without a reference most of the time, but i decided to try and use a reference and it’s made me realise something is off. could anyone point out where i might be going wrong with proportions, shading or if these sketches are just lacking something stylistically ?
(first picture is a sketch of a reference, third picture is a sketch from imagination.)
