I was excited to report to work yesterday because I thought I was going to see you even for a little while but I didn't. I heard OM and STL talking saying you don't have a team right now. I wanted to say, can I be your agent but I couldn't because I might get in trouble again for pursuing you. I miss you. I miss your smile with those cute braces. I miss your voice. I miss that beautiful face.

I’ve seen a lot of people say the matches on the show are “bullshit,” but I honestly don’t think that’s a fair criticism.
The biggest thing people forget is that we barely see some of these match ups interact. By the time the cast starts figuring out the game, the matchup ceremonies become all about strategy. Suddenly, people are sitting together who we’ve barely seen speak to each other, so viewers assume the matches don’t make sense. But how can we judge a pairing if we’ve never actually seen them get to know each other?
For example, I can actually see why JJ and Ashley were matched. Ashley is calmer and more grounded, while JJ has a huge personality. She could balance him out, and he could bring her out of her shell.
I also understand Simone and Dre. They’re both confident, outspoken, and have strong personalities. Instead of clashing, I could see them matching each other’s energy and becoming a real power couple. Simone seemed attracted to loud, fun personalities anyway—that’s part of why she liked JJ. Dre has that same energy, but he’s also confident enough that Simone wouldn’t feel like she has to lead everything. I think they could have had a really fun, balanced relationship if they’d genuinely gotten to know each other.
My issue is that contestants rarely give these matches a real chance. They keep chasing the people they’re immediately attracted to, even after they find out they’re a No Match, instead of exploring the person they’re actually matched with.
I also think the house could play the game much more strategically. If the match ups gets a beam at the matchup ceremony, spend the next week actually getting to know each other. Have real conversations about values, family, future goals, conflict, and what you want in life. Then rotate and do the same with other possible matches. Instead, a lot of people stay stuck on one person because of chemistry.
That’s why I think so many viewers say the matches don’t make sense. We never get to see most of those relationships develop because the contestants don’t really explore them.
At the end of the day, if you’re going on a show that’s supposed to break your old dating patterns, then actually give the experiment a chance. You don’t have to force a relationship with your perfect match, but at least be open-minded enough to find out why you were matched in the first place. That’s exactly what Amber and Ethan did even with them having initial attraction they are a long term relationship with shared values, and they’re one of the biggest success stories from the show.

Just watched season 8 and enjoyed it. I particularly liked Max & Justin’s relationship. It hit me pretty hard because it seemed pretty genuine and real. I ended up reading and watching everything I could find about them (including all the interviews, IG lives, and YouTube vids from 2019 that are still around). Also read a lot of the fan reactions on here from when the show was airing and about all the drama just after.

Seems like stuff has died down and everyone has moved on but I am curious if all the drama drove them off social media. Just curious if anyone knew anything. Totally respect their privacy.

I was bored and ended up doing an AYTO marathon, so naturally I decided to do a very shallow ranking. For the record, I’m not calling anyone unattractive, this is purely based on the percentage of people on each cast I personally found hot or would hook up with. Also, I didn’t watch Season 9.

Seasons 2 and 8 are also kind of tied for me! I keep going back and forth on which one has the edge.

This is all in good fun. Everyone on these shows is objectively attractive; it’s just about which seasons had more people I’d personally be into. Seasons 1 and 7 were kind of duds for me, and honestly, the personalities didn’t help, especially Season 7.

Season 5 was a hot mess, but I’ll give credit where it’s due: the cast was pretty attractive overall.

I’m also starting to really feel the age gap watching this now. I’m in my 30s and they’re mostly 21–25, so some of the behavior is… a lot. I try to give them grace, but moments like Morgan telling Nutsa not to “infer” while doing exactly that were so frustrating to watch. Then again, she’s young and clearly just trying to be liked, so I get it.

They all seemed to have practical careers before coming on.

I think she got some slack for hooking with the guys. But I felt she was insecure and finding herself.

Rewatching season 8 for the first time since it originally aired. I just finished the part where Danny had a vulnerable moment after being a no match with Jenna. I had tears cause I haven’t seen it in so long, but then I got curious to see how he was doing now. My nosy ass was glad to find out that he is happy and in love!!🥹

Does anyone know what the song is at the end of the show that plays during the credits? It doesn't have any lyrics and Shazam doesn't pick it up. Been dying to hear it. Thanks

Ive never seen the show and just started watching season 8. I’m confused why couples like Jenna and Kai and Justin and Max are so devastated when they aren’t a match? Matching means nothing on this show. It’s not like perfect match on Netflix where if you match you have to sleep together. They’re not being split up. There’s nothing that says they can’t still be romantic and just choose someone else at the ceremony to try and win the game. They can still date after the show too. I guess it may sting for someone you like to be more compatible with someone else but that’s just on paper. Is it just for the drama?

She seems to have had a really troubled background. Prior and had a history of drugs as mentioned in her death sadly.

Then she mentioned sobering along side her dad. She was far too young.

She didn't have good terms with her mother which is interesting.

Her cousin was known for a evil crime of murder.

She made TV gold and gr8 entertainment but clearly troubled.

Anyone else feel SO upset after seeing how “fake” the show is? I’m not sure fake is the right word, maybe edited, but I just read almost all the comments on Morgan’s reddit and I’m shocked and totally turned off from the show 😭 I know all reality shows have a big amount of editing to it, but it’s just a feeling of seeing the casts pov that makes it so depressing. for example, the fact Morgan said that the season 8 cast was also in the house with them?? hello??

It is pretty obvious contestants like Alexis Eddy were struggling and battling. I won't blame production or aftercare because it is know they fuel drama.

But Alexis was great entertainment and seemed sweet but her family problems and battles probably played apart.

Season 6 Clinton and Uche are beautiful, I am looking for any tributes and edits.

I don't think Kareem is bad guy but I found him close minded S6 to others. He called introverted guys on the show losers who were cool dudes.

Overall Kareems seem cool and hopefully he worked on his issues. It is ashame him and Alveria didn't work out, I think young people should stay away from these shows and go counselling instead.
