I started a new town in the GameCube version of animal crossing on my Wii a few days ago. I erased the old town that was on the memory card by using the "build new town" option in the in game menu. Everything seemed normal, until today. I went to the post office to save a few letters, and I discovered that all the letters I saved in my old town are somehow still on the memory card. Is this a known bug in the game? Could my memory card possibly be dying?

I need luck today! I have an empty plot and would love to fill with Bea. Pictured is the last time she was a tourist on my whimsical, mid-coastal Maine island. She’d be a beautiful memory of my childhood chocolate lab. Also, I love her little sunburned nose!! Fingers crossed!!!

Does anyone have any advice on what I could build here? Before I had a castle here but I never liked how it looked (felt like I could never get the perspective right) Also I’m fine with terraforming the area a bit. Make it a level higher or lower whatver. The area in front could also be pushed back or foward a bit because I don’t have anything build there yet.

Never had this happen before... I got a negative reading by Katrina. She told me my health was getting bad or something like that. Opted not to do the purification for $10k bells. That was a mistake... Back on my Island, I began running and did a total face plant! I'm like, what was THAT?!? Thought I just slipped because it was raining. Then, got stung by a wasp, which raaarely happens any more. Realized it was because of Katrina! I decided not to play that night - didn't want to find out how bad the scorpions were going to be!!

I wish characters could still have rude personalities because I'm sick of hearing the same dialogue. for example, when i talk to my favourite villager (merry) a lot, i wish shed yell at me or something instead of just standing there and accepting it 😭

After years of playing, decided to make some drastic changes to my island. Finally finished moving a bunch of things and making the body of water shape I was going for in the middle of the island. Any thoughts on the theme I’m eventually going for?
