So a common annoyance is people dropping out be side they don’t get imposter role, also if playing as imps my annoyance is you get players who are dumb and get killed in the open round 1 or 2 and get voted out, meaning you’ll prob loose. This role balances that… only allowed say up to round two to deploy it and only if an imp is voted out. Inherits booted imps powers and booted imp ghost becomes normal ghost to stop sabotage spams.

Honest to god didn’t think using a touch of AI to do a quick for AI job for a “fun” idea would cause so much rage… but then again I forgot Reddit. Noisemaker sabotage, imposters could put a noise maker ping anywhere
Change dead bodies to reflect death animation
Mayor role but doing tasks add extra votes instead of just being able to start off with multiple votes

essentially here are the rules:if its your turn you can look at the board, if not you MUST not look at it.the roles are the same as regular among us.

At the start of the round some cards will be given,1 card is your role, and the others your tasks.

If you get impostor then you'll get cards with an X(fake tasks)

once a task is done(or you """did""" a fake task) you put the card in the progress bar(fake tasks dont count)you get 3 actions and you can use those actions howerer you want!(almost) everything uses 1 action,but meeting(emergensies or body) take 0.

you can only see rooms that are near to you(please cover rooms that you can't see)

A player will be the master, making players respect the rule and controlling every move.

Impostors can sabotage doors,and systems(critical sabotages will take some full turns[when everyone takes their turn a full turn ends] and if they are not fixed in time the impostors will win!)

If anyone breaks the rules they lose their role and DIE!!!

You can use vents if you are impostor or have a role that allows you to vent

You can use vents connected to some lines.

The game is from 5-19 players(1 player is the master)

I got banned from three lobbies today because people overreacted, or i hurt the hosts fragile ego.

Firstly, when playing hide and seek, half the players, (host included) were ladder camping in airship. I called them out for it in chat and everyone proceeded to insult me and i got banned from that room.

Secondly, in a casual game, i ended up getting the 1st impostor (host) out but lost because white voted me instead of black when there was three people left. White and blue (host) then called me dumb and screamed insults then banned me because i wasn’t aggravated at blue for bullying me.

Thirdly, in a lobby i just got banned from, i was playing with crew then won because impostor left; For some reason, everybody began getting angry at me and I font know why, and the host (who had nothing to do with it) banned me for no reason.

Any tips to calm down? Among us is a failing community…

As someone that watches Helluva Boss and watched the Among Us show, I saw Loona as Black everytime she was on screen. They have similar personalities, appearances to a degree, and care about those around them despite not showing it too much.

I think that's why I like Black in the show so much, because she reminds me of my favorite Helluva Boss character.

my example is I sabotaged the sizemic stabilizers (polus) and after fixing it I walked over to see my fellow imposter venting near a body with a crewmate next to it so I killed the living crewmate and won the game

Roles can be fun, and add a new layer of strategy to the game. There are things I hate about it, like how detective takes away half the deduction side of the game if you're using it right, and how engineers can just camp in vents and get you out with no way to avoid it save a comms sab, which just adds a new cooldown to your existing kill cooldown.

But what I really hate is the effect on no roles lobbies. If people don't know its no roles (which I always make clear but morons find a way) I get so many people saying "reg or viper kill" or "maybe it was a shapeshifter" and even impostors saying they're an engineer.

I can't do shit anymore because some idiot is still playing like every role is turned up to max.

Playing Among Us on Mac via the App Store REALLY sucks. You can't use WASD to move. You are basically just using your cursor for everything, and it's so slow and counterproductive. It makes things like tracking while walking or a quick sabotage impossible.

I tried installing Among Us via PlayCover and then setting up custom keybinds through there, and while that did work, it didn't let me sign in because you have to sign in with your Apple ID, and that is impossible using PlayCover. Therefore, I was not allowed to use Free Chat, making it useless

I heard that buying the game on Steam allows for a much smoother experience, and now that I bought it for 5 dollars that I could have spent on chocolates or something, I CAN'T EVEN PLAY IT. It's only for FUCKING Windows.

What should I do, considering my needs?

I was playing in a lobby and the first round, literally nobody did anything and the imps won. I died and actually chatted a bit in the ghost chat with a Bulgarian guy. Then the second round comes. The host was dressed as yellow from the show haha!

Anyways, there was 10 crew and 3 imps, but white left, leaving me (purple) and orange. Someone decided to be a troll and call a meeting, leaving them to promptly get kicked. But during the meeting, despite no deaths or noticeably impostor like behavior, yellow immediately clocks me and orange. But there was nothing to go off of! I mean literally nothing happened.

After the meeting I go to upper decon to shapeshift, and orange and black go up. Orange viper kills and I shapeshift, only in front of orange mind you (the lights were out so nobody could see). The body gets reported, and yellow immediately accuses me and gets me voted out, then next meeting does the same with orange. Yellow was never present during any of the kills, they were just on the other side of the map.

Back in the lobby once the round was over yellow was bragging about how they’re “just that good” and “the son of kira“ and I was calling them a cheater. I got removed from the lobby, and when I checked my recently played with list, I found out that I already blocked them.

First I want to say, I made this idea but if someone else had this or posted something similar to this please don’t get mad. I just cut and pasted a picture of Dr Doktor from among us logic onto a shapeshifter template on canva and used a background remover.

**CONCEPT:**

The plague doctor has the unique ability to gas a room! This means a crewmate can only last a certain amount of time in the room before being killed. They cannot sabotage a room with a meeting button or a room that doesn’t have a vent! This role is controlled by the host which will be able to determine how many seconds for gas to kill a crewmate, how long the gas lasts, and can choose between a cooldown time or an amount of uses. The gas also reduces crewmate visibility which can be controlled in the settings and will give cameras a blurry haze! Impostors can be in the gas without a problem but this role can be used for all sorts of things! It can be used to stall people from doing tasks, cut off escape routes, and just make life absolute hell for crewmates!

*sigh.* Among us, did Yall really have to make level 100, they max level, I really wanted to be a better level than to be a level 100, please add more levels or make it infinite in the long time future because i don’t wanna be level 100 forever and yes i know glitch lobbies makes your level higher, but its hard to reach to a glitched lobby btw, playing among us more and getting more levels for yourself is better. A noisemaker died in reactor obviously we can see where it's pointing at. I was at lower engine making my way to reactor and when the body got reported they didn't even said a single thing because they are slow on saying where was the body and then I said "Reactor" and they said how did I when I wasnt there?? OBVIOUSLY IT'S PONTING AT REACTOR.

They said I wasnt even there and how did I know where the body was which made me look very suspicious lmao So they all voted me out as a crewmate.

They voted me out 2 times in a row and tried to do it in a 3 time when we were imposters. After i guessed dat pink was the imposter they got soo mad... Even assuming that I'm a exploiter while im on mobile.. ( i remind u that pink is 65 lvl... ) they acted so childish it made me kinda mad too

Ever since 2019, I always imagined how new colors would look like in Among Us. We got new ones in 2021, but I feel like the game could have some more, so I made these concepts of which colors I think would fit in. I came up with these seven, I thought about adding more, such as Scarlat,, Crimson and Silver, but I felt like these would be too redundant.

Now this is definitely no where near as bad as snitches, but I had a game where I was a viper, and the other two Imposters got ejected. Unfortunately, I couldn't Sabotage to lure people away from decaying bodies because one of them would just Sabotage the O2 as soon as the meeting was over, kill cooldown isn't ready, and now bodies are discovered. People eventually got suspicious and I lost, something that I rarely experience as Viper.
