Ok guys, you cannot skirt Reddits rules regarding buying and selling ammo here. P2P sales will get this sub banned. Stop doing it. Stop saying DM me or putting your phone number up like an idiot.

Does anyone have ideas where to get various rounds and cartridges to add to my collection? I have a small collection that I would like to expand and design a display for.

Bought a SKS a couple years ago and was given a case of ammo to go with it. Honestly can’t tell if it’s corrosive or not so I never shot it. With the price of 7.62 these days. Thanks

I’m looking for a dummy bullet to use for a movie prop. Something that resembles a large revolver bullet but is around 2.25” long. I ordered a dummy round in .500 s and w mag but it’s right at 2” and a bit to short. Is there any longer revolver round, or is there a rifle cartridge that looks similar to that bullet I could use?

I remember a while ago that the .223 like "cheapest ammo llc" company would have regular 223 casings (left) then it would go to the little empty one on the right. Im just curious to see if they used .545 casings. It worked flawlessly in the ARs and stuff and it never jammed or did anything funky. I'm no expert on anything. (The casings go from left to right, .223, 545, weird 223 casing)

Bought this pre2001 as a kid at Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. Can you tell me about it? Is it dangerous to have/own. Live or inert. Thank you!

Going to buy a couple of cases and they have what I would like in stock for a good price. Anybody have good or bad experience with these folks? I wouldn't know a scam site from a legitimate one, and haven't tried them before.
Just cracked into my last case of S&B 32 for my Kel-tec P-32's.
Went to look for 73 grain fmj from Fiocchi or S&B via ammo seek and my usual suppliers and it's all gone?!?!
Anyone got a line on some 73 grain? The P-32 really needs one of the above mentioned for carry ammo to reduce risk of rim lock. I'll shoot some random stuff from the big box store for now but I'm not feeling good about not seeing reliable carry ammo for sale anywhere.
Also open to alternatives from other P-32 enjoyers.

It’s a little over an inch and 1/8 long. Base is approximately 1.7 cm in diameter. Thick brass. It was found detecting where late 1800s farmland was. No headstamp.

I am moving and need to send 35 pounds of ammo to my new house (USA). I already figured out the legal/logistical side of using a mail carrier for this .
I planned on using 12×12×12 packing cardboard box, but I am somewhat worried about its integrity due to the weight.
Has anyone shipped like this before?
How should I pack/tape up the box so it breaking isnt a concern?
I appreciate any advice on this.

Is it worth it as a newbie? I shoot mostly .223, .556 and 9mm. I have zero equipment and limited knowledge, currently. I’m interested in learning more and reloading my own ammo. What’s a good setup for me to start with?

If it’s possible, but too expensive, should I just get a 22 lr rifle?

Anyone making .22LR SCHP ammo? Last I heard CCI only makes suppressor copper plated ammo.

Found this one round in my grandfathers things. Doesn’t seem to match any of his rifles. He has several ww1 rifles, and my Great grandfather fought in WW2, so we have a few things he brought home. Is it a military round? Or just an odd round that ended up in his gun cabinet. Thanks for your help!

This is from a Troy Slug Storm shell, decided to cut one out for a better look at the projectile. All reviews I've seen on these slugs say that they are Brenneke, but they look exactly like Thug Slugs, tail wad and all. Is this a Thug Slug?

Are there some brands of remanufactured ammo you trust for casual range day
9mm, .380acp, .45 acp, .223/5.56
I Havebeen sticking to new only for personal use but it'd be nice to have a large batch for group range days where some type1 failures isn't the end of the world just rack and try again.
Obviously safe new is probably best and I don't want bubba's pissin' hot
but like is US cartridge, freedom/lLAX or sportsmans select reman ok and safe?
In other words what's a good budget brand worth getting nowadays ?

Has anybody had any luck with Federal American Eagle .40 S&W 205gr TSJ ammo?
I shot a box of this stuff when it first came out about 8 years ago and couldn’t get it to stabilize at 25 yards with my Glock 35 (5” barrel).
I recently picked some up again and decided to give it another try. This time I tested it out of a Glock 24C (6” barrel), but I’m still seeing the same problem. I shot 5-shot groups at 7, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards. It seems like stabilization starts to fall apart between 10 and 15 yards. Some shots still hit where I’m aiming (POA = POI), but I’m also getting big flyers high or low on the target, along with tumblers landing in the same areas.
As a control at the end I ran the same exercise with some Aguila .40 S&W 180gr FMJ and as you can see in the last photo all the shots stayed true.
