I designed a customized football schedule for a local high school

Post image
24 Upvotes

I’ve been designing and 3D printing customizable high school football schedule boards, and I finally finished one for my local school (Millard South in Nebraska).

Each board can be customized with:
School name
Team colors
Opponent tiles
Movable score numbers each week
Home/Away schedule
Optional previous seasons or rivalry tiles

I’d love to make these for other schools around the country. Since every school has different logos, colors, and schedules, each one is designed specifically for that team.

If you’d like one for your school—or think your booster club, coaches, or parents would—send me a DM. I’m happy to mock up a design before you decide.

I’d also love feedback:
Would you hang something like this in your home, office, locker room, or classroom?
What would you change or add?

Can I become a good linebacker with my build

I want to play Football in Uni ( I’m from the UK so I will be playing in England for a and English university) and I really want to play linebacker but I am 6ft and only 130lbs. I still have one year until I am at uni should I still think about playing linebacker or should I transition to corner or safety.

Diskussion Speed and endurancr

For my whole life ive been slow. Im 5’11” 184 right now and I am weaker than a lineman too so i decided im going to try any other position that isnt on the line. We did conditioning today and I have no endurance or speed when it comes to running. Ive tried an agility ladder and that didnt even work out and one thing i noticed is that popular traditional methods never work on me. I got absolutely tore up at practice from doing sidelines-sidelines but I really want to get faster. Keep in mind i was only the linemans speed. Please tell me what to do to get faster

NFL American Football Media Consumption & Fan Identification

Hi everyone!

I'm currently writing my bachelor's thesis and I'm looking for NFL fans to participate in a short survey about media consumption and fan identification.

The survey is completely anonymous, takes about 5-7 minutes, and is for academic purposes only. If you're a fan of the NFL, your participation would really help me out!

Survey: https://www.soscisurvey.de/football-consumption-2026/

Thank you so much for your time!

Diskussion Can I go d1?

I'm primarily a basketball player who hasnt had the most success in the recruiting journey, with a D3 look or two but no official offers at any level. I decided that for my senior year I want to try to get recruited for another sport, being either track or football. Would I be able to go D1 as a relative beginner to the sport?

I'm 6'3 170 with a 6'9 wingspan and have a 41 in running vertical jump, and 165 max bench (1 rep only), but I've never played football aside from in the park with friends. What would I have to do to go D1 as this is my last season of high school? If I can go D1 and get offers would I be able to go to a high major school like UCLA or Duke? And lastly how does the recruiting process work for football?

Thanks so much

NFL JOSH ALLEN

I genuinely need someone explain to me how is Josh Allen better than Patrick Mahommes or any QB in that matter? He has never appeared in a Super Bowl. Always lost AFC championship game?

Ranked #1 for QB is just outrageous to me?

News New Mod

I would like to introduce myself as a new mod for this sub. I’m excited to help this sub grow and ensure it’s here to serve its desired purpose.

My background. I have played and coached football for 30 years. I have coached at the youth and High School level. I’m currently a high school coach and spend the vast majority of the year involved in football in some kind of way. I have a ton of knowledge about the game to share. Though I am new to being a mod so please have patience. The rest of the mod team and I are getting things organized. We’re trying to clear the queue and handle disputes so this Reddit can be better. Feel free to message with any ideas or suggestions.

Diskussion Suggestions

Hi guys,

I have made a few posts here and there on other pages. Basically about how to learn more about the game, more so on the offensive side of the ball. And I’ve had some good suggestions, which I appreciate.

Now, the more I learn, the more I want to get involved with coaching at some point. However there’s one major issue surrounding this. I live in rural Ireland and the closest team to me is an hour and a half drive. Due to work, and mainly the kids being so young, I can’t commit to joining that team at the moment.

So I’m looking for suggestions on what I can do in the mean time. Not other sports, but how to prep for eventually stepping into the American football coaching world? What are some things I’m gunna wish I looked into when the time comes? What can I learn? What should I read? Who should I study? What would help?

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Cheers guys!

I'm a massive NFL fan..I have never been to a game. I love all teams. I would love to discuss the league and which team(s) you support or like. Everyone welcome 🤗 I am extremely interested in points of view from men and women as to how they got into it or why. What parts they love. What excites them for the upcoming season. I'm from Western Canada so that is one reason I have no dedication to any specific team. However there are teams I enjoy over others. I'm really really interested in the tailgating and I am planning on attending a game in the near future.

Hi, AuADHD adult amateur offensive tackle and obsessed with equipment particularly modern football helments.

I have done a season of equipment with former high school.

If your clueless about what to buy for helments can ask me and I'll tell you.

Personal collection is SpeedFlex SF Echo, Light Apache (top end one 3d printed shock absorbers), and VICIS Zero2 Trench.

I am kinda minorly injured right now and have a bit off unfortunately.

I am also goalie.

Diskussion How did y’all get over football?

I’m 20, played football and worked my ass off my whole life with dreams of playing in the nfl, played college ball last year and broke my neck. 10 months later because of how my neck healed they say I may never play football again and it just feels like I lost a literal piece of me and I let my younger self down. To those who had no choice but to give up, how did y’all get over football!

New Mod

Hey everyone!

Thought I’d introduce myself since I recently
joined the mod team.

A little of my background. I’m a lifelong player and fan. I have played on both sides of the ball both flag and full contact from flag to 7v7, 8v8 and 11 man. Ive also coached and like to think I know a thing or two lol

I’m here to help keep the page fun, respectful, and positive.

Talk some trash, celebrate the wins, complain about the refs, debate who’s overrated—just keep it respectful and remember we’re all here because we love the game.

I dont know everything but will be more than happy to help you find the answers. Looking forward to talking football with y’all.

How do I get better at contested catches

Whenever there is the slightest amount of db pressure I lose sight of the ball and drop it. Today I had a open catch which hit my hands but i dropped it because I was looking at the defenders hand ( which was trying to block it)

Idk if this is related but I also struggle on a deep ball where I’m wide open, I seem to choke on those too.

Football Audiobook Recommendations

Hi guys,

I’m looking for some football audiobook recommendations to listen to while I work from home.

I’m wanting to delve a little deeper into the game rather than just be a casual fan. I’ve been following football for the past 2 seasons from here in Scotland, So I started from a clean slate with zero knowledge. But now I feel I’ve got a decent grasp of the rules, positions, general gameplay etc. So I’d like to get into formations, running game, passing game, different offensive plays, that kind of thing.

So any recommendations would be appreciated. And if you think of any American football based audiobook that’s worth a listen, then let me know.

Cheers guys.

I know I've been in here before but I'm still looking for teams to root for all the sports, I'm from Indiana and been a sports fan for years and years and I'm gonna like a team close to Indiana. Also please don't judge me and say it's easy to pick a team I've been bullied over it so many times over the Internet and I've bene Indecisive about trying to find a team, and I'm mildly autistic so my decision making us hard for me to choose to find a team.

Here's my teams list.

For NFL: Steelers, Bengals,Browns,Chiefs, Colts, Packers,Bears,Lions, Vikings

For NBA: Cavaliers,Bulls,Bucks, Pacers, Pistons, Timberwolves

For MLB: Guardians,White Sox,Tigers,Royals, Twins,Cubs,Reds, Brewers, Cardinals,Pirates

Hockey I've tried getting into but can't

For college: Purdue,Indiana,Notre Dame, Illinois, Wisconsin,Ohio State, Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State,Iowa State, Nebraska,Kansas, Louisville, Kentucky
