Hello! I just started as an Amazon DP. I am trying to figure out when is the best time to lift either before or after. I have time to go before but it would 100% effect my route, or I could go after but work would 100% effect my workout. Which one do you guys prefer?

I did 140 deliveries, 260 packages in six hours and 20 minutes not counting break time of course. And I did this with a bad ankle.

Soo back in November, I was fired from my DSP for 3 counts of van damage, but it was nothing major- just the plastic paneling coming loose and scraping the side of the van. The 3rd time wasn't my fault, and the top panel in the back came up while I was delivering, but I never hit anything my whole route. I used to deliver in rural areas with low-hanging trees and figured a limb popped it up. I didn't get to report it to them because I didn't find out about it till I got back to the warehouse, and a fleet team member came and checked my van. I was fired the next day, and they wouldn't let me dispute it or care to hear what I had to say. I really enjoyed delivering and want to get back into doing it, but I don't know if I should tell the truth about what happened or lie about why I'm not with the company anymore when applying/interviewing with other companies. Also, I've been applying for dsp's in the same warehouse cuz its the closest one to me, don't know if that matters.

Has anyone heard this a few times and been confused?

Like yeah bro, back when I was newer there were several people on standby without routes every day and you were one of them you came to me early as a sweeper because I had one of the larger package counts at my DSP every day.

I don't remember anyone rescuing me "all the time" except when a rescue driver gave me a legitimate rescue one day and then the very next day I was rescuing and took over a route and got rescued by him after he finished his route lol

I swear when I started I was a maniac and now I'm much slower so idk I guess you just have to be a veteran and pay your dues to get any respect but this job is pretty repetitive anyone can be good relatively quickly in my opinion.

Its funny how people know to give bad reviews but never seing them give you the good ones for receive 5$ tips.. however my points always go down when my DSP think Im trying to change DSP. Now their asking to deliver 25 to 30 package an hour and dosn't pay you the full 10hrs shift when your done earlier, not fear if you asking me.

Ordered some cookies and snacks off amazon. Driver threw the packages onto my porch and I was woken up by a loud bang of the items hitting the floor outside front door. Packages scattered around in the delivery photo looking like they did exactly that with no care.

Opened packages and most of the snacks are destroyed and disoriented in the packaging. Not a huge deal because they're just snacks, but I'm worried if I decide to purchase something fragile and expensive, the delivery driver would treat those purchases the same way risking damage.

I thumbs downed the delivery photo and put "driver threw package" but not sure if that really does anything.

Hello most recently my background was approve well everything was and all I’m waiting is for dsp to schedule my drug test but I haven’t heard nothing since Tuesday July 14 how long did they took for them to schedule yall drug test? Or they are not interested on hiring no more ??

Want to get back on keto, it works for me, and wondered if anyone has any advice. Haven’t been on keto while also working a job this physical, and without easy bathroom access. Anyway, any advice from any keto fellas?

I was put on stand by for my Monday even though I was #1 top performer for week 28. They simply said they didnt have enough routes.

They usually put 3 - 5 other people on stand by but its usually because we preformed bad the day before or had violations. They sent other stand by home asap.

Is this a seniority issue? Iv been working for this dsp about a mouth. I helped loads vans they could of easly split someone's route. Anyone else have this problem?

first I get a hit the other day cause I did a U-turn when it told me to and the no u-turn sign was super hidden, now it’s telling me to drive on the wrong side of the road so I can make a turn💀

It’s a load of shit right? Every shift it says my route has been reduced due to the heat, but the package count and stops aren’t actually going down

I’ve never had a job that felt like it was taking joy in kicking me in the dick every day. Until this one.

98 stops and 383 locations cause of course it’s all apartments and businesses like Jesus Christ

I deliver to a resort hotel and I deliver to the dock that happens to be right next to the kitchen and employee lunch room. The hotel provides breakfast and lunch to their employees, seeing as there is always an abundance of food, the chef encourages me to take food every time I stop by. It would be a waste to I just throw it out.

Honestly wasn’t half bad.

If they want to play we can play. I’ve done nothing wrong to these people and they’ve done nothing but do me dirty. I’m not saying DSPs are bad just make sure u choose the right place that actually cares about u atleast a little. Yes I know I could’ve waited and not said anything and maybe been paid more but that’s not the point. They have 0 respect for others timing but when it comes to being late for work they’ll easily write you up. It’s apparently just business not personal but they forget two can play that card. So far they’ve legally passed one day of giving me my final check so they owe me a day of pay according to California law. Let’s see how long it takes the warning has been sent😂

My most recent pay was deducted 600 and added back 510 with a total loss of $90 for “insurance”

the hr claims this is for Amaze and another third party insurance broker. I have had no insurance card or indication that this would have me opted into.

Any body else share similar experience??

I also understand the tactic they share to “raise my pay check amount” by creating less taxable income. but frankly i would rather uncle sam have my money than a random third party i gain zero from.
